Went to the UCSB-UNC game last night. For being such a young team, UNC has picked up on that transition offense remarkably fast--and they execute it very well. Getting back on defense is going to be a key for anyone that plays them. They're solid on D as well; half-court O is the main weakness right now. Take Hansbrough out of the game, and they have a lot of trouble finding a shot.

Miami got beat by a so-so Temple team last night. If you shut down there guards, they are not that good. Diaz went off on us last year or we beat them.

Diaz was too athletic for our worn down team last year.I don't think it will be the same this time around, not with Grant, Cam, Bethel and Fells off the bench.BTW, where has Fells been?

Fells is a bit too erratic right now, at least in the games i've watched. He's got huge potential, but he needs to get a better understanding of our team dynamic and offensive system before he'll get quality minutes.

well Virginia Tech appears to be back to their pitiful self as a bball program...

VTech had a decent run in the second half--they played better D and did slightly better at finding shots. But they also managed to prevent themselves from capitalizing on key turnovers. If they pull together and play with some consistency, they'd probably be a middle-tier ACC team again this season. If they don't, it's going to be a looooong year.

Dowdell is one of the better guards in the league I believe. Gordon is a sneaky little shit who plays good defense. I think Greenberg may turn them into a decent team. I think they will finish about 7th or 8th.

So, wait, I'm confused, Clemson might be decent?
