ok, in 2 years when my ipod dies and I replace it with a video one, I'll watch the video 3 more times while I'm riding the bus.I just don't see anyone building their own mobile mtv, especially at $2 a pop.

This morning they were drooling over this on CNN, Bob and Tom (106.1) and Bob and the Showgram (105.1).In just the hour that I got out of bed and headed into work all three stations I was watching/listening too were talking about the new iPod. (I also listened to NPR but they don't really talk about personal electronics )

10/13/2005 8:34:54 AM
Yeah, but they probably weren't going to buy ipods anyways
10/13/2005 9:29:01 AM

Let me know when they put these in cell phones with on-demand content. Then I might pull out my wallet.A pair of sunglasses with the screen built-in wouldn't hurt either. I don't want to squint at a 2" screen from 3 feet away for long. Oh, and no cords between the phone and the sunglasses. Now that would impress me.

yeahvideo doesn't really need to be mobile until we get transparent display on glasses

I'm sorry to brag, but I just found out today that I will be getting a new ipod video (not sure of size) for my job...I am so excited!!!!

Why would you buy 3 PSP's? (Reply with obvious anwer now)
10/14/2005 1:13:53 AM
They're not all for me. I bought one as a graduation present for my sister and then my dad liked it so much I bought one for him (with his money).
10/14/2005 1:15:45 AM
that's what I thought...it's a reward from a company my lab deals with
10/14/2005 12:38:47 PM
the new iPod records in 44.1khz stereo, rather than 8 khz phone quality. FINALLY>
10/17/2005 9:13:27 AM
wait, so can i plug my walkman into it and digitalize my tape collection?
10/17/2005 9:26:53 AM
I wonder if this will allow studios to put out TV shows that were not originally going to go to DVD.Some niche shows were not popular enough to warrant a press of DVDs but it would make a lot of sense as an iTunes offer since the cost of "publishing" them this way would be very low/minimal risk.
10/17/2005 9:43:19 AM
that'd be cool^^ You could, but it won't do tracknames or anything. It will just record the audio in... not really what you'd want to use to digitize your collection. Better to use a computer for that sort of thing.
10/17/2005 12:00:47 PM
but now you can take your iPod to all those concerts you go to
