Yeah, because the government wanted to drop a good 250 billion in cleanup and flush their PR image down the drain just so it could get rid of a few poor people.

I wonder what it sounds like when a steel and concrete structure suffers catastrophic failure...

In smaller tests I've seen on video of a concrete block failing under extreme pressure it gave out all at once with an explosive "bang" spraying dust everywhere. Something tells me that is what this "bang bang" woman heard.
