Hey Dan

My car is TOO fast and people in ferrari's and other super-exotics hate me. What can you do to slow my car down?

Sit my big ass in the driver's seat for one.

Tcheng...you might try urinating in the gas tank!

I might, but you'd better believe I'm going to spend some time finding documentation first.

I don't work on a lot of VW's, at least waterpumpers.

If you hadn't said "oil pump" I'd have said sure. But now I'm not so sure. I'm not into fucking up other folks' cars.

BTW, why the oil pump?

oil is not getting to the motor. I cleaned the engine out with varsol to make sure that it wasn't sludge. It didn't help and the oil light had been coming on, so it must be the oil pump. I think I will sell this at the auction "as is" and tell whoever is buying it that it needs about a $1500 job done on it. It shouldn't be more than that.

Have you actually checked pressure with a mechanical gauge screwed into the sender port? Could be a faulty sender. Are you getting any lifter noise or rod/main clatter?

Car-fixing is on hold for a bit. I'm working with existing customers, but right now that's about all I can do. I'm burned out, and time is at a premium.
