1985.5 Porsche 944 N/A Daily Driver... Hope to swap a Chevy 5.7L v8 LS-1 in for the stock 2.7L I-4 one day, and then stroking it up to around 500hp/500tq @ wheels. Yeah, I'm the jackass that plays his music loudly on campus ^_^

Cant wait to get her back though, hopefully I will be picking up a 13b-rew block with brand new rotors, new housings, milled/balanced rotors, lightened/balanced eccentric shaft, GT intake and exhaust porting and Ionetti 3mm ceramic seals this thursday or friday. I also put in a roll bar and have done some reasonably extensive modifications to the rear wheel wells and some stuff to the fron wells to accomadate a huge drop from my new struts and springs. The supra offset wheels (+22 rear) look so nasty now that they are tucked into the body on a nice negative camber setting-taken from apexi's D1 FD of a few years back (the white one).

Gotta keep my fingers crossed to make sure everything lines up for this engine though . I'll definately keep everyone posted on her resurrection, I'll try to post some pics of her and her new goodies in a few minutes.-B

But seriously, if you're going to tape it up, why not tape all of it up. I mean a rock that can break your headlight (which'll break it through the tape just the same) WILL put a nasty dent on your fender/hood, whatever. If you're going to tape up the headlights etc. why not go ahead and do it right, tape the whole car?

Yes, but the glass will not go onto the track. At least that's why I always thought headlights get taped up.

Wow, that's awesome!

Headlight covers are not commonly made of glass anymore. Beside that point, taping of glass is something that's more commonly done in racing or competitive driving when car to car contact is more likely...
