not to mention, IMO, standard console controllers didnt get much better than the GCN controller anyway

ANYONE WHO DOESN'T RECOGNIZE THE DUALSHOCK 2 AS THE BE-ALL AND END-ALL OF CONSOLE CONTROLLERS IS A TREMENDOUS FAG

i think that thing is ugly

and i always feel like i'm gonna break it

and the button placement is stupid

the buttons aren't pressure-sensitive

etc.

umm

the shoulder buttons are pressure sensitive chief, or were you referring to the dual shock?

Button placement works great for me. I like being able to just roll my thumb up or right for the buttons as opposed to picking it up for every change.

This is intriguing. I am looking forward to it.

Even suggesting that Halo in any way compares to Goldeneye earns you negative gamer creed.

I dont give a flying fuck about changing your opinion. It shows you dont know what the fuck youre talking about, got pwnt, and should shut the fuck up.

GOOD ENOUGH

^the system is compatible with the gamecube controller. its not like youre losing anything.

seriously..ppl are acting like theyve never used a wireless, battery operated controller before...

Revolution is going to be the only console system I buy and have bought in 8 years (since PS1). That controller looks awesome. Imagine all the crazy shit they'll come up with to plug into the bottom of it.

I like the fact that both hands are independent. It allows for better ergonomics for each individual. Holding onto a controller with both hands in the same position for hours gets old.

ahahah I love the chef in the video chopping really fast with it.

i'm assuming you'll be able to use 2 remotes to double wield (that'd be tight as hell) . . . maybe use both "d" pads to get head and body movement.

imagine being able to shoot at 2 different targets at the same time . . .

People, they weren't the first to use a "laser gun", sound, or some other mechanical setup as an input device for video games. You give them too much credit. If Microsoft had released this the hate would be gushing on this forum. This controller looks more like a sex toy than anything else... especially with its rumble pack feature.

i stand firm that i cant wait to try it. no matter who did what first before, if this thing is as good as it looks then its awesome period. im glad they did this so that we didnt just have 3 machines of even a remotely overall similar approach battling it out again. at least there is some variety

Looks way too small for my hands. Would definitely think I'd have a hard time using the "remote control" portion.

^^Ha they could release a vagina periphery to attach to it so that you could have virtual sex with someone online. When you pump on one side, it thrusts on the other side.

finally I can turn the thing on and off from the controller. just one of those goofy irks that I've come to find with all my systems.

that could just be the on/off for the controller, like how the wavebird has an on/off switch

Can you imagine the potential for abuse? What if you conned someone into doing it with you then penetrated your vagina peripheral with a jackhammer or something? I would hope they'd have some built-in safety features to prevent flooding!

it doesn't look like it from the video though. the one dude hits a button at the top left and shuts the tv off. I dunno it'd be an excellent feature tho.

well you know...i get up to put my controllers away when im done so its not so bad to turn it off then. if ur some slob that leaves the cords all tangled and all over the place, have at it, but ppl with multiple consoles all hooked up dont have that luxury.

unless, of course, you have other attachments and or multiple controller. at that point ur coffee table is just a clusterfuck of electronics/remotes.

Damnit, I hate the Gamecube controller style.

The DualShock 2 is so much more comfortable.

Sony needs to move that left joystick up...why have the D-pad at the hot spot of the controller?

That's a real extension. Just like that joystick on the cord one in all these pics. There's just so much they can put on there with this "extension" capability.
