thx. yea tried that and pics look even worse (screen is blurred cuz of the long exposure). I guess if i was smart I could have used the freeze function on my projector remote...didnt think of it at the time.

you should make a frame so that you can stretch the cloth.also, try a tripod for taking pictures with long exposure

Yea I havent tried it on my laptop yet - will have to give it a try. Come to think of it I havent tried HD porn on it either, gettin skinimax in bout a month.yea need to make a frame for it - right now i have little nails around the border stretching the cloth. its my next project.Moonwalk - I have my projector on an "audio pier" from target.http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/sr=2-1/qid=1126726756/ref=sr_2_1/602-4969977-8490239?%5Fencoding=UTF8&asin=B0006698I8$99 and looks real sharp. Its perfect for my room and makes things much nicer - I would not be able to do it if my projector did not have lens shift. What a great feature - couldnt live w/o it.scrager - I put my dig camera on the ledge behind my sofa to avoid probs w/ long exposure.

My lazy ass finally got the speakers up off the floor and somewhat presentable. Decided to take a few pictures. This is with the flash on to show the setup. The picture isn't nearly that washed out under normal lighting conditions. And obviously not washed out at all with the lights out. This is somewhat blurry, but out of the several pictures I took it's one of the best. Which says a lot about my shitty camera skills. This is the least blurry shot of the group, and taken while sitting down on the couch in front of the image. A couple of pictures of the ceiling where it's mounted. My picture ended up being right at 60 inches. I could adjust it to be a bit larger if I wanted but the couch is only 8 feet away, anything else would feel like sitting in the front row of a movie theater IMO.BTW, I decided to simply project onto my bare white wall. I think the picture looks fine, I even had Quinn come over with a sample of the Silverscreen paint and we couldn't tell that one was better than the other for the most part.Overall I'm extremely happy with the projector.[Edited on September 26, 2005 at 12:09 PM. Reason : more pics]

Good to see the cables worked out alright. Maybe you didn't need that many now that I see a pic of it. Ohh well, no sagging and they are out of the way.did you buy a camera? or was that from the $6 special? [Edited on September 26, 2005 at 7:34 PM. Reason : .]

I ended up putting in 11 hooks and the 1st and the 11th fell out. I'm thinking the more the better cause they aren't exactly screwed in that deep. And I've had this camera for years. It's the one Jess gave me for Christmas...4 years ago? It's shitty, but slightly better than the $6 one.

You could look into the painted mirror screen, considering a 60 inch mirror will be easier to come by.

forgot about that one... Never used that camera much. I've been bad about it too.I figured they would have the hardest time where you started and then the corner. Its still pretty cheap and you don't have a 1/4" hole in the ceiling

bttt. On woot again today. Only $699 + $5 shipping. This time it comes with a 76 inch screen and the boxed set of the matrix. If you're not interested in the other stuff you could probably sell the screen on ebay for ~$100 and the movies for ~$50 and you're looking at only $550 for a pretty good projector.http://www.woot.com
