always do clean and press over deadlift

those work different muscle groups, and you can't get nearly the back workout from doing the clean and press that you do from deads due to the lighter weights.

do both. clean and press on shoulder day for a good compound exercise and deadlifts on days you work your lower back, or with leg day if you prefer a sumo style grip.

damn, i'm up to 193 lbs after dinner and in workout attire...so i figure high 180s actual weight.i was like 175-176 just 2 months ago when i moved to FL. moving out of the barracks and getting a kitchen + having all the time in the world to lift weights until flight school starts in earnest + doing minimal running = packing on muscle mass like it's going out of style.

well i ran for like 11-12 minutes. then i did back. like 2 full back machines, did abs then had to be home cuz gotta be at work around 4:15. not many full back machines. most are with biceps that i do on mondays.

i counter it by eating every god damn thing i can, within reason of coursehas worked so far but i dont want mass i am quite content at 200 lbs i am much more athletic there

i eat a lot tooi.e., i had a large pizza for lunchhowever, i don't gain any size, it might be because i do more aerobic excercise (swimming/skating/running/fucking) than anaerobic exercise
