4/20/2005 2:12:39 PM

4/20/2005 2:14:55 PM

4/20/2005 2:22:07 PM

4/20/2005 2:24:00 PM

4/20/2005 2:41:50 PM
this guy is funny
4/20/2005 3:39:12 PM
4/20/2005 3:40:37 PM
Man I just got back home and checked on the score.Yanks whoopin up on the Jays 10-1 right now in the 6th.
4/20/2005 8:54:12 PM
11-2 Yanks winPosada goes 3-for-5, finishing a triple short of the cycle.Sierra left early with a sore elbow, and Bernie came out in the 7th with a tender knee, but so far neither look to be serious.Pavano pitched well...7 innings I believe, 8 hits, 1 earned runNot too bad. Now let's string together more than one at a time.
4/20/2005 10:40:54 PM
^agreed....how about a win streak? There's an idea!
4/21/2005 12:19:06 AM
Well that's two in a row. Rivera got the save, but not before letting the tying run get to third and the winning run get to first. It's all good; a win's a win.7-9 and hopefully moving on up now. Let's keep in rolling.
4/21/2005 10:33:16 PM
4/22/2005 1:50:43 AM
Yeah...I meant "Let's keep IT rolling."I'm far too tired. I had to drive a good distance to cover some playoff games. Worn out and burned out on writing for the night. *sigh...sleep time finally.
4/22/2005 3:06:56 AM
Dammit, when are they gonna stop sucking!??! Come on Yanks, lets get it in gear...
4/23/2005 5:46:05 PM
Honestly there is nothing finer then being a Red Sox fan, winning the world series and watching Steinberner get pissed cause his team can't seem to get off teh bottom of the division. HAHHAHAHA
4/23/2005 5:53:09 PM
whos Steinberner?
4/23/2005 6:05:28 PM
yankees are terribleeeeeeeeee right now and i love it..hahahhah
4/23/2005 6:16:42 PM
If I have to find something that I don't mind about the Yankees sucking...its me being able to show that I root for my team even when they suck ass, and am not a bandwagoner.btw, I loved that the fans booed Jared Wright off the field when he hurt his arm...God he sucks!
4/24/2005 10:42:30 PM
GO YANKS... 2nd-to-last in the AL East right now lol. Looks like you're having a good season so far.Fuck the evil empire... go WORLD SERIES CHAMPS A.K.A. THE BOSTON RED SOX.Oh yeah and by the way, to quote the NY camera man... "Welcome to New York Randy!" LMAO
4/24/2005 10:47:57 PM
dude, gtfo of life
4/25/2005 1:40:09 AM
So Wright's gone 4-6 weeks. I prefered Lieber from the start. At least he proved to be consistent and decent for the love of God. Wright was so streaky. ^^ And you really think 2nd to last is gonna keep up for the whole season? The Yanks started 8-11 last year and still finished with 101 wins. Not like the Sux are racing to first either by the way. Way to call out Johnson after an eight-inning, three-hit performance too.So Wright's injured and Brown isn't doing so hot right now, big deal...they still have 3 very quality starters, which a lot of teams can't say.[Edited on April 25, 2005 at 1:59 AM. apparently people think you can't be a Red Sox fan anymore if you don't STILL live in New England..NOTE TO YANKEE FANS: Some people have been Sox fans for longer then you have been alive.
4/25/2005 9:16:26 AM
It goes both ways.
4/25/2005 9:17:38 AM
haha anyone who was a Yankee fan pre-1994 I have to hand it to you.. you lived through some dark times.. I miss the Maas, Stankiwiecz (sp?), Hawkins days..Hell I have been a Mets/Sox fan. You don't have to tell me about rooting for your team through some rough waters..[Edited on April 25, 2005 at 9:19 AM. Reason : asf]
4/25/2005 9:19:17 AM
Oh man I loved Kevin Maas. I was like 8-10 years old when he was there, so I didn't care/notice if he sucked. We had very similar batting stances. Yeah, pre-1994 was rough, but 1995 made up for a lot of it. I remember watching the game where they clinched the playoffs for the first time in Mattingly's career and as the final out was made, he just bends over and punches the ground in jubilation. Man...I get chills/teary-eyed thinking about it now. Good times.OH and Andy Hawkins...GOD...nothing like pitching a no-hitter and LOSING 4-0. Good job. [Edited on April 25, 2005 at 9:33 AM. Reason : HAWKINS]

NOTE TO YANKEEMETS/SOX FANS: Some people have been SoxYankees fans for longer then you have been alive.def goes both ways.
4/25/2005 9:33:58 AM
yes, but I'm not the one calling you bandwagoners, now am I? anyway, I forgot Alviro Espinoza** also who was it that was friggin awesome for like a couple seasons and then one day just could NOT find the plate and was never the same? Was it Hawkins? The only reason I ask is I remember reading the article in the Daily News that was kinda sad about him when I was younger..[Edited on April 25, 2005 at 9:37 AM. Reason : asf]
4/25/2005 9:35:22 AM
but u have to admit that people came out of the woodwork (especially down here) when the Sox won the series. i mean i'm talking about people who dont even like baseball who jumped on the bandwagon immediately. and b4 u tell me i'm crazy, i can name a bunch of people i know right away who did that. what's funny is that now they mysteriously could care less about baseball, let alone the Sox.and does no one remember jim abbot? i mean he had 1 hand![Edited on April 25, 2005 at 9:39 AM. 4/25/2005 9:38:37 AM
oh no doubt people did. It kind of pissed me off but thats what happens. Same thing would happen if the Cubbies finally (yea right) won..I get random people saying to me 'Hey I bet you got that Sox hat real cheap on EBay' and crap like that.Ah well. The price of finally winning. Now if only the Mets could win finish above .500

last year after 19 games: 8-11THIS YEAR after 19 games: 8-11the only thing I'm worried about is Kevin Brown, because Chien Ming Wang is coming up to replace Jaret Wright, and he's BETTER than Jaret Wright. Brown has sucked every time out....he gets stronger as the game goes on, but he always allows a few runs in the first inning.meanwhile, I'll be at the game on May 10th. w00t.
4/25/2005 1:18:36 PM
K. Brown looks like he won't be doin much till around the break, and Jaret Wright has horrible streaks, he was with my Braves for long enough to scare the shit outta mewouldn't worry about it, Pavano and Johnson seem solid right now.

Funny how Yankee fan is worried this early.
5/2/2005 3:36:47 AM
Never said anyone's worried. Just would like to win a few games. Pitching is all right, hitting is all right; now we just need to get them all right at the same time, and we'll hit our stride.
5/2/2005 9:19:58 AM
The Yankees, for such a high payroll of Super stars, suck ass this year!![Edited on May 2, 2005 at 3:55 PM. Reason : hahaha]

Please tell me we won tonight. I was watching the game on MLB TV till 24 came on, when they were up 3-2...
5/2/2005 11:40:49 PM
They won.
5/3/2005 12:20:24 AM
^thanks...of course right after I posted that I went and looked at espn.com, b/c what kind of fan would I be if I didn't!
5/3/2005 1:03:20 AM
http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2052024Finally doing something to try to inject some life into the team.I'm excited to see how this plays out. I'm very intrigued by Robinson Cano, especially since "young talent" hasn't exactly been a buzzword in Yankee camp for like five years now.
5/3/2005 4:15:37 PM
is RJ going on the DL? I heard rumors....
