Affairs are different in Europe. Way more accepted & casual. If you get a chance to go the Denmark for work, go & just don't expect this to turn into anything. She prob won't be weird if you're not. So don't be weird about it
9/6/2012 11:57:56 PM
^ really....i did not know that. is being a swinger in Europe just the norm?
9/7/2012 8:14:55 AM
man what am i still doing in america
9/7/2012 8:18:39 AM
http://www.menshealth.com/sex-women/marital-infidelityI remember thinking that the casual handling of the affair in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo was so strange.
9/7/2012 8:28:12 AM

you're the one getting attached after a one nighter and a couple of dates, but she's the crazy one... right...
9/7/2012 10:03:15 AM
Can we get an update about the married guy who has been sleeping with his friend's wife (I think it was his friend, I know she was married though ) How's that working out?
9/7/2012 10:22:10 AM
ooo that was a good one. especially with all the ass and cock grabbing behind the SOs backs.
9/7/2012 10:35:57 AM
Sparky, I wouldn't say being a swinger is the normHowever, men & women have affairs (more common for men) & it's just not as big of a devastation as it is here. It's seen as sexual & not emotional. It's not like dudes are telling their wives "bye honey, off to fuck my mistress!" it's definitely secretive but the women usually suspect & just don't do anything about it. This may contribute to the fact that people in Europe get married later in life & start families later too. My American friend married a European & got pregnant on their honeymoon (oops). People legit asked her if she was keeping the kid. Which reminds me, abortions in Europe are fucking standard too. No big deal. Also, lots of pregnant women smoking, at least in Switzerland. It was a big wtf for me.

^^ ah so it's pretty much accepted and maybe even expected but for the most part it's out of sight out of mind. hrrmmmmm....not sure how to feel about that.

9/7/2012 7:09:23 PM
You probably tell elise. And the two of you spend your Sunday nights gulping wine and laughing about the sad lives of random TWWers.

9/7/2012 10:21:48 PM
Meg was not right. I can't drink wine. The sulfites fuck me up something awful. The rest was on point.
9/7/2012 10:23:36 PM
Vodka? Sulfite free wines? I thought Orleans Hill was OK[Edited on September 7, 2012 at 10:25 PM. Reason : ]
9/7/2012 10:24:29 PM
I think when I was living with Erica I was drinking this:or chocolate cake shots...or my homemade lemon verbena brandy.
9/7/2012 10:25:52 PM
9/7/2012 10:34:26 PM
If you had a do-over button you wouldn't be the person you are now.
9/7/2012 10:39:06 PM
I agree. Also I feel it's never too late to make a first impression. Then again I tend to get burned by giving people multiple times to prove or redeem themselves to the point it's ridiculous. So maybe you shouldn't take that part of my advice...or at least don't be discouraged if people don't think/believe in the "new" you. But regret is silly. So if you regret so much that you hate yourself or where you are...fix it. Don't just wallow in regret. fix it.
9/7/2012 10:47:10 PM
Agree. Regrets are ok, just fix it and don't fuck up anymore. Or try not to, anyway.

Is Inception going to be one of those movies people quote in the future? I thought it was great, but not in that sense.
9/8/2012 11:13:43 PM
I thought the 'We will be together quote" was pretty good.
