Does anyone else sometimes refer to Mertesacker (at least mentally) as "Mernutsacker"? Surely I can't be the only one.]

pic of Koscielny's injury:http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2523664/Laurent-Koscielny-carried-Etihad-deep-laceration-knee-injury.htmlit's kind of gross...it's an actual cut, with fluids leaking out and such. I don't think his muscles/joints are injured...it's more a matter of he can't bend his knee for a long time, otherwise the wound will re-open and blood will pour out.this sucks for Arsenal, obviously. but maybe Vermaelen will step it up.also, this explains his standing up as though he were fine, and then dropping to the ground again...sometimes when you get cut, it takes a few seconds for the pain to register, and to feel the blood on your skin and clothes.[Edited on December 15, 2013 at 12:18 AM. The academy players winning united the match. Gotta love it. Great performances from Cleverley, Welbeck, and Januzaj! Just what the doctor ordered.
12/15/2013 9:43:59 AM
Fletcher is back! What a welcome addition he is! United are desperate for a box to box player like fletch!
12/15/2013 9:57:43 AM
Phew, glad we won that midtable 6 pointer ^^^Meh, seems like a normal laceration, a common injury if you play with cleats [Edited on December 15, 2013 at 11:09 AM. Reason : ]

the camera angle at white hart lane is terrible. might as well park a blimp above the field with a camera

Honest question, should Spurs drop Lloris? He just made two saves and is a good shot stopper in general but his decision making is flat out awful recently..[Edited on December 15, 2013 at 11:42 AM. Reason : They are in some real trouble for a CL spot on current form]

12/15/2013 12:37:53 PM
so what, Giroud could do that
12/15/2013 12:42:21 PM
So it looks like United need to battle with Tott if we need 4th... Manchester United not Newcastle...
12/15/2013 12:43:16 PM
Tottenham has got to be the NC State of the EPL, or maybe Newcastle...
12/15/2013 12:47:10 PM
Imagine how many goals LFC could've scored if they didn't park the bus.
12/15/2013 12:48:49 PM
Arsenals run of games post-Chelsea is laughably easy.Worst case after next round of fixtures is being one point out of first. Pretty good shape and getting healthy again (Theo back and Podolski back next week).Good spot to be in despite a highly disappointing seven days.[Edited on December 15, 2013 at 12:50 PM. 12/17/2013 9:30:53 AM
to be fair to Ribs, it was IMStoned420 that was telling us we should be scared of how Spurs looked and I think he made the corvette comment as well.now, Ribs did say he'd take AVB over Wenger but we all say things that look stupid after. I said I didn't really care if Suarez had to be sold before the season and that was just dumb.[Edited on December 17, 2013 at 9:41 AM. Reason : ]]
12/17/2013 9:41:16 AM
Going into this season AVB was doing a pretty decent job and as a Spurs fan of course he would say that over the manager of their biggest rival.
12/17/2013 10:15:56 AM
There was never a planet where AVB was or is a better manager than Wenger. As for Spurs, after thinking about it, its still all there for them. Surely 1-3 is going to be a mix of City, Chelsea and Arsenal but fourth is still there and they still should improve as their squad settles... though I'd still bet United sneaks fourth.
