^ I mean...yeah. He's gone. Everybody knows that.
4/7/2014 6:41:28 PM
so when is this presser?
4/8/2014 10:43:39 AM
apparently hes not having a presser anymore, just releasing a statement
4/8/2014 10:52:22 AM
hm. the following doesn't seem illogical:declaring for NBA warrants pressertherefore, not declaring, no presser?
4/8/2014 11:02:03 AM
4/8/2014 11:03:36 AM
hodge had a presser to say he was staying... don't think any of it means anything. He gone though.
4/8/2014 11:03:59 AM
Just out of curiosity, have any of the Kentucky players stated their plans?
4/8/2014 11:06:40 AM
They're all transferring to Georgia State to bring home a Sun Belt championship.
4/8/2014 11:22:46 AM
Come on, we all know that Hodge was an attention whore.
4/8/2014 11:39:19 AM
If Warren stays, I guaran-damn-tee you he won't hold up a picture of an unshaven Gottfried and say "how could I ever leave this guy?"
4/8/2014 11:43:51 AM
4/8/2014 12:20:11 PM
best of luck TJ
4/8/2014 12:28:29 PM
good luck; bad decision.
4/8/2014 12:36:41 PM
good luck; rational decision
4/8/2014 12:38:03 PM
good luck, great decisionPlease to get drafted by Chicago!
4/8/2014 12:42:04 PM
good luck; best decision after winning ACC player of the year
4/8/2014 12:42:59 PM
Best of luck in the NBA TJ. I think your excellent season had been largely overshadowed by Parker but I have no doubt that you'll matriculate into a quality NBA player. You know what they say, the cream always rises to the top.
4/8/2014 12:49:37 PM
Congrats dude, keep tearin it up
4/8/2014 12:54:51 PM
Good Luck TJ! Continue to make us proud!
4/8/2014 1:25:49 PM
appreciation retracted continues.good luck, TJ. hope you go to the horncats!
4/8/2014 1:31:12 PM
Really hope he does well. Seems like a genuinely nice guy.And we DESPERATELY need a smart, humble guy who is proud of his school to be an ambassador for State at the next level (sorry JJ, I hear almost nothing from you about State). Can't underestimate the impact of that type of thing on the perception of a program...
4/8/2014 1:47:23 PM
i really hope he does well...slow, 6'8" guys w/ little outside shooting aren't usually burners in the league though. he had two more years to learn how to shoot, which makes me sad
4/8/2014 3:36:27 PM
Smooth != Slow
4/8/2014 3:42:17 PM
4/8/2014 3:49:17 PM
He's not fast but he's not really slow either, especially in transition. He's a lot quicker than people give him credit for.I can honestly see him being a poor man's Paul Pierce if he gets a consistent outside shot. I'll definitely be watching him in the NBA. I hope he goes to a team that doesn't perpetually suck.
4/8/2014 3:51:50 PM
watch him play defense. he's slow.i love the kid, but he's not ready for the league. oh well. i hope i'm wrong, b/c god knows we need a good player to come out of here these days.
4/8/2014 3:54:21 PM
He has pretty good straight-line speed, but his lateral quickness is pretty bad for a SF. That's why he couldn't stay in front of his man most games. That said, I don't think staying in school another year would make him any faster
4/8/2014 4:00:27 PM
Excellent decision. Don't pull a mcadoo
4/8/2014 4:14:23 PM
he obviously needs to wear some stickers.or a flaming basketball tattoo.
4/8/2014 5:29:39 PM
Staying in school wouldn't fix any of TJ's problems. The only thing he could do to rise his stock is knock down a high % of 3s. Total risk when there's so much that could go wrong. This was the right move.
4/8/2014 5:47:11 PM
^ correct. Smart decision by tj. Best of luck to him
4/8/2014 7:19:39 PM
4/8/2014 7:25:40 PM
Dude, in my book JJ shows NC State love each time he fills up that box score. Results speak for themselves.
4/8/2014 7:26:32 PM
^^ ya know, he could get drafted in the top 20 this year while improving on his game. Or he could risk dropping in the draft and losing guaranteed money. 10/10 times id take the guaranteed money if I was in that situation.
4/8/2014 7:30:13 PM
that's b/c you're a pussy, and/or you expect him to fail.option #3 is get better, get drafted higher, enter the league w/ more staying-power.]
4/8/2014 7:34:37 PM
Lol. Can't he continue to improve his game in the nba?
4/8/2014 7:35:58 PM
not if he doesn't get minutes. which he probably won't.]
4/8/2014 7:36:39 PM
He should stay in school and red shirt next year then play two more years. Maximize his staying power.
4/8/2014 7:38:43 PM
James Michael MacAdoo stayed a extra year or two at UNC. Really paid off for him seeing as how he isn't a projected 1st round pick at all
4/8/2014 7:51:42 PM
twista FTW
4/8/2014 7:55:00 PM
4/8/2014 8:55:45 PM
shit like this is why we only have 1 decent nba player in my lifetime.
4/8/2014 11:59:48 PM
Staying an extra year certainly helped Brown & Leslie
4/9/2014 1:31:41 AM
you mean leaving a year early
4/9/2014 1:33:28 AM
^. Lorenzo Brown is case and point. Why didn't he make it early? He can't shoot. 1, 2, and 3's who can get to the paint are a dime a dozen. The difference is who can also stretch a defense. I love TJ and I fully understand taking the money now. Also, to the guy who said TJ is quicker than people give him credit. I believe him to be faster than people give him credit for (distances like the length of the floor) but his quickness is average at best (short movements like lateral quickness on defense).
4/9/2014 7:29:16 AM
You're fucking retarded if you don't think TJ made the right decision to leave. End of discussion.
4/9/2014 8:57:09 AM
^
4/9/2014 9:01:41 AM
people keep saying it was a good decision to leave because he won acc poy as if that title is going to earn him playing time once he's on an nba team.
4/9/2014 9:48:19 AM
Will all depend on where he actually gets drafted before we can decide if it was the right decision or not doesnt it? A lot is gonna depend on how many from kentucky come out and guys like Parker because they will likely all be drafted before him which could move him down 6-7 spots potentially. In the end though his stock isnt gonna get much higher and if this wasnt such a loaded draft it would be a no brainer.
4/9/2014 9:53:03 AM
^^no, people are saying that in terms of his "stock"
4/9/2014 10:06:59 AM
