nothing better than a pro-life pissing contest.Rick Santorum's record of winning must not take into account the seat he lost.
1/19/2012 10:04:03 PM
unfortunately, that's not enough. There is something seriously wrong when the #2 guy in the race can't even get a tenth of the airtime in a debate as the two candidates trailing him because the moderators won't ask him questions. Obviously CNN and Fox are back to their old game of "Ron Paul doesn't exist".

i was amazed at how much time santorum got. he's literally in on every single question with multiple answersalways defensive and nervous and retaliating and emotional. horrible qualities.absolutely loved how ron paul called him out as 'overly sensitive' haha

Extra lols for daughter and her doll having matching dresses.
1/20/2012 10:08:30 AM
that's not a doll. it's a 20-week-old dead fetus
1/20/2012 10:09:53 AM
Lmao I couldn't hate Santorum more but the dead fetus jokes are seriously beyond the pale for me...
1/20/2012 10:14:17 AM
hardly. if you're crazy enough to cuddle up next to a 20-week-old dead fetus , then people should bring that up.
1/20/2012 10:16:43 AM
i have no idea what the hell is going on in that picture. why is that 9 year old pouty girl with a doll crying?
1/20/2012 10:32:33 AM
i love the look on the overweight harry potter-ish kid on the right. i'm pretty sure he just sharted.[Edited on January 20, 2012 at 11:03 AM. Reason : .]

Definitely a chance that Santorum could surge from the rear, creating a messy situation for Romney.

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2012/01/19/cain-slated-for-tea-party-response-to-state-of-the-union/It's official, the GOP doesn't want to win this year.
1/20/2012 11:31:02 AM
Gingrich kinda came out of nowhere in the past day or two and it looks like he might win the primary today. If he pulls it out, it will be a victory for dirtbags everywhere.
1/21/2012 11:33:05 AM
There is no room in the GOP for a moderate republican....although Mitt has the best shot at beating Obama in the general, looks like Newt might win the nomination and then Obama wins reelection. Obama's best hope is that Newt wins....hell, there isnt alot of difference between Mitt and Obama anyhow, maybe that is why Mitt polls well against Obama.[Edited on January 21, 2012 at 1:43 PM. Reason : latest polls show double digit win for Newt In SC]
1/21/2012 1:43:04 PM
Mitt has no shot at beating Obama. Zero. The only way one of these nominees comes within' a mile of the oval office is if the European economy completely collapses in 2012. I mean look at this shit.http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26315908/ns/msnbc_tv-rachel_maddow_show/Go to about 9:24, Romney basically admits that Obama's done a good job of turning around the economy. Obama hasn't even started campaigning yet and the GOP has given up.
1/21/2012 3:25:13 PM
Interesting to see Gingrich surging here. I mean, the guy is not a conservative on any fucking level. He's a big government progressive that pays lip service to "conservative principles", but at the end of the day, he is bought and paid for and he's another establishment politician.Gingrich winning is a good thing here. It undermines Romney, which is positive in my book. Of course, it doesn't matter if Obama, Romney, or Gingrich are President. All three would lock in American decline, they'd just offer different rhetoric. These primaries are really about appearance, nothing more - it's Ron Paul versus Obama/Gingrich/Santorum/Romney.
1/21/2012 3:55:50 PM
This is just like W in 2004, W was weak but Dems didnt have anyone to really put up against him worth a shit...2016 is when everyone on the GOP side will be running, some that passed over running this time around probably want Obama to win...because 2016 Biden isnt going to run so it will be wide open on both sides as to who wins each sides nomination. I am sure if Mitt doesnt get the nomination this time around he will be running again, and Paul will be too, Paul is kinda the GOP Nader.[Edited on January 21, 2012 at 4:08 PM. Reason : w]

Gingrich is the family values candidate. He's had more families than anybody else in the field!
1/21/2012 4:53:13 PM
So how many votes does Cain get today?
1/21/2012 4:59:59 PM
If Paul is still alive in 2016 he will win in a landslide because by then, everyone will know he was right.
1/21/2012 5:28:50 PM
^^^^ Paul (Ron) is too old for 2016. Rand might run...who knows.Speaking of which, I don't understand how Rand is a Tea Party darling, yet Ron gets booed at GOP events and is viewed by some as worse than a liberal Democrat.I just don't see a very meaningful difference between father and son, which makes that disparity bizarre to me.
1/21/2012 6:20:48 PM
^I can DEFINITELY see rand paul trying to run for president.
1/21/2012 6:51:09 PM
wow NBC is already calling SC for Gingrich.3 states - 3 different winnersgoodness
1/21/2012 7:03:05 PM
And only 4 candidates left. A win in Florida would be good for Paul right about now, so that he's not the only one left who hasn't won.
1/21/2012 7:04:10 PM
gonna be hard for santorum if he finishes last
1/21/2012 7:12:16 PM

you know, after gingrich went into anti-romney revenge mode, i figured it would reek of desperation and put him even further back in the polls.i am SHOCKED that he is even still in the discussion, let alone about to win SC[Edited on January 21, 2012 at 7:59 PM. 1/21/2012 8:22:08 PM

^^ oh, yes. Charleston is a major liberal section of the state. hell, it's where Colbert hails from
1/21/2012 8:24:01 PM
^^^That post reeks of the ecological fallacy: https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/wiki/Ecological_fallacyEven Utah and Wyoming have liberal sections, and more generally cities tend to be liberal while rural areas tend to be conservative.

I like Newt, but that is painful to watch. 2 min was all I could stand to watch. I would feel like such a dork if I did that. Santorum on the other hand. . .Well, here is a definition.http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=santorum
1/22/2012 4:30:34 AM
*As defined by sex coulumnist Dan SavageWhat do you like about Newt?
1/22/2012 12:22:30 PM
How could anyone like Newt? What redeeming qualities could he possibly have?Seriously, he's an embarrassment to civilized society. His positions alone that he's publicly stated in this election cycle alone are fucking terrifying. From casually linking black people with poverty and black children with pimping and prostitution, to his gross desire to strip away child labor laws? The man says that we should get tough on drug enforcement and look to Singapore as an example (they execute drug users, by the way). He openly declares that an entire society is "invented" and declares them all to be terrorist without making any distinction. He wants to arrest judges that he views as "activists" and openly states that he wouldn't enforce laws he disagrees with. He's a warhawk and a draft-dodger, a Lutheran turned Southern Baptist turned Catholic who thinks that this country is being destroyed by secularism. And, he's a fucking lobbyist, to boot.Nevermind the consecutive failed marriages he's pumped out, the man is an absolute hypocrite on every issue he claims to promote. He would be a complete travesty as president. No two ways about it. He's not running for president, he's running for emperor.
1/22/2012 12:57:37 PM
1/22/2012 1:32:01 PM

what the hell is "onerous" about a law that says you ought to fucking prove who you say you are before you get to vote? seems pretty damned sensible to me. some people don't have IDs? OK, let's help em get IDs. damn, that was fucking hard
