garcon and mendenhall

Coffee, McFadden or Jackson for my 2nd RB spot in a PPR league ?

Santana, Roy Williams, Brandon Marshall, or a leftover RB for the flex in that league ?

I'd go Coffee....then i like s moss and marshall...tough.

With the news that LT is starting I'm revisiting this:

pick 3:
Coffee STL
Hester DET
F Jackson @MIA
Marshall DAL
Lynch @MIA
LDT @Pit

[Edited on October 2, 2009 at 1:57 PM. Reason : just saw Parker is likely out sunday]

Coffee
Lynch
LT/Marshall

pick 2:
Sproles
Rice
Jones-Drew
Ricky Williams

Leanin towards JD and Sproles, but should I go with Rice over Sproles?

Go with Coffee as the 2nd RB.

I like Santana as the flex.

Coffee, Marshall, Hester/LT. Id lean more to Hester because LT will not play many snaps his first game back and the PIT/SD game will involve alot of passing which makes Sproles a better option.

JD and Rice/Sproles. Rice should do well against NE but Sproles should have a good game catching passes out of the backfield.

TO. MIA is very good against the run so look for BUF to pass alot.

my league is so gay. they temporarily changed the rules to let somebody drop michael turner so that he can hold on to the eagles D and tim hightower. only 10 players 3 bench spots and only allowed to pick up 2 people per week, so i couldnt even take advantage and pick him up. some genius is gonna realize, "wait a minute, i could have two #1 picks on my team??" and pick him up.

goddamnit

^wtf? First, what is a "temporary rule change"? That sounds more like "cheating". Second, who would drop Turner to satisfy a bye week?

In some of my ESPN leagues, I have both Barber and Choice on my team. Should I use a RB2 and a RB/WR flex to play both, or should I just play one?

If it's one, I'm def. leaning towards Choice.

Percy Harvin or Caddy for my flex spot this week?

Not a PPR league, but does count return yards. Pick two because Boldin is on a bye:

Roy Williams @ DEN
Brandon Marshall vs DAL
Devin Hester vs DET

My other starter is Andre Johnson

Willie Parker is confirmed to be out for the game today. Mendenhall should be a great pickup if you need a replacement.

^^ I don't agree with Mendenhall being a great play. Here's why:

1) The Steelers Running game sucks. Thier O-line is in shambles.

2) Rashard was a healthy scratch last week for "not knowing the playbook well enough to contribute". Even if he gets the start, not sure how effective he will be given that.

3) It's very likley that the Chargers will be tied or ahead, forcing the Steelers to throw.

4) If Reason 3 is true, stone hands Mendenhall will 100% be out of the game, and Mewelde Moore will be in.

I see Mendenhall starting the game and getting 40-50 yards with 2 rec's for ~15 yards. Mewelde will out play him with 50 yards rushing, 5 rec's for 45 yds and a TD.

^ as for Barber, Choice looks to be the starter, but MB3 will be the closer and goal line back. He's not a bad play. He could put up Alstott like numbers (20 yards rushing, 2 TD's), or go back to benig his normal self (80-100 yds and a TD).

Good points...although SD has given up more than 130 rushing yards in each of its first three games so any RB going against that DEF should have a good game, whether the O-line is hurt or not.

Menden is expected to be the starter so I dont know if that means PIT has more confidence in him or not or if they are just sticking to the depth chart but he will play.

Whether or not SD is ahead or tied PIT will still run the ball because they will be successful. If it works they wont completely stop....if only to keep the defense honest. Moore is the better pass catcher though.

^^ Go with Flacco against NE. Romo is too unpredictable against a good pass rush...and DEN has a GOOD pass rush.

^ Moreno

Welker is active

Should I still play Indy defense, or go

houston versus oakland? or
cicny versus cleveland?
sf versus boller?

Should I play Ben Watson against the Ravens this week who I picked up because of a bye, or pick up Kevin Boss to play against the Chiefs? Chiefs have supposedly struggled versus tight ends and you never know who Brady will throw to

^I'd go Cincy

^^^^ i'd go moreno

^^ flip a coin between cinncy and SF

Need a flex pick one:

Moreno
Bowe
Kevin Walter
Donald Brown

I hate to ask this, it goes against all of my "I hate Jay Cutler mentality" but pick one

Brady
Cutler

^^^ Cincy defense

^^ Watson. Boss will probably not be needed against KC. NYG will run the ball alot and the WRs should get open fairly easily. Gates (SD) had good success against BAL so I think Watson could as well.

^ Moreno for flex. I would take Brady because he has Welker today and he will be throwing alot.

Third receiver, take two: Torry Holt, Kevin Walter, Pierre Garcon.

I also have a QB on bye and the other hurt and need to pick up someone, but the pickings are slim: Seneca Wallace, Kyle Boller, Josh Johnson, and Chad Henne. I also have Jamarcus Russell but I dont think I want to go there.

why the fuck isn't Matt Forte getting any goal line carries? Chicago has been on the 2 yard line and the 1 yard line and they haven't given him the goddamned ball.
