** let me amend. I shouldn’t say “no one is saying.” Lots are. They are a problem and wrong. Terrible article. That is the greatest power that congress has as a check on the president. Whether you agree with building the wall or not, elections have consequences, and right now congress is controlled by a party that presently doesn't want to pay for a wall.

If Trump thinks boarder security is so important, find other ways to secure the border and make it an election time issue. But don't expand executive powers just because congress wont go along with it.
