Excuse me if you look back you'll see I was right
2/22/2023 10:20:56 PM
Lol the “protect the paint” play of the game is a blocked 3PT attempt.
2/22/2023 10:22:49 PM
Clark hurt his shoulder too, per twitter. Will not return
2/22/2023 10:24:55 PM
I really hate charges.
2/22/2023 10:28:55 PM
Burns looks gassed out there.
2/22/2023 10:33:30 PM
lol smith was mauled at the foul line by #4 and no call.
2/22/2023 10:38:14 PM
Lmao at that
2/22/2023 10:39:29 PM
Man it's gonna suck if he's out for awhile again
2/22/2023 10:46:01 PM
Yeah we really need Clark. There’s just no offense at the 4 spot without him. Ross has flashes but not consistent. The delayed double team is the only way to guard DJ. But you’ve gotta time it perfectly.
2/22/2023 10:49:58 PM
99.6 Win%Let's gooooo!!
2/22/2023 10:50:26 PM
Breon banked in a 3 and Ross swatted a 3 to close it out lol. Fun stuff!
2/22/2023 11:00:56 PM
My whore chick was wearing a burns tshirt in warm ups, players were having a lot of fun in the warmups as well (dunk contest maybe)Wake couldn't miss but our defense looked lost in the first. I love watching burns and joiner play
2/22/2023 11:49:50 PM
Another great game. Any past State team would have folded 8 minutes in with WF shooting 90%. Loved seeing the defense step it up big in the 2nd half. Hate that we lost Clark. Hopefully the sling was precautionary, but I'm sure with only a week left in the season we will not see him again until ACCT.I thought Gantt had some decent minutes late in the game. I feel like that revolving combo of Ross, EBD, and Gantt late in games with a lead causes a lot of frustration for opposing offenses. Also read that DJ Burns asked KK if they can keep wearing the State throwbacks. I'm sure there is an Adidas contract stipulation in there somewhere, but would love to see those things come out during the ACCT.

I like Ross a lot, but I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a player miss as many dunks as him
2/23/2023 10:31:34 AM
So we don't move in the NET after last nights win
2/23/2023 12:37:36 PM
Yes and it makes our win at wake worse
2/23/2023 1:10:35 PM
Thought you were sooo smart with your "win every game" strategy, the tables have turned
2/23/2023 1:22:56 PM
so fucking stupid
2/23/2023 2:19:38 PM
I think the net is kinda dumb. I don’t know how heavily the committee favors it. As we learned a few years ago, simply having a good NET doesn’t really guarantee you anything. It seems like it’s more about how good your opponents’ NET is (which makes no sense. If you are a “good win” for a team then doesn’t that inherently make you a good team? Whatever). But. It seems like the NET is roughly set once you get through OOC play, and by the time conference play rolls around everything is already baked in. It feels a little too self-fulfilling. Like, the early season results told us that the B1G and Big 12 were good conferences. So now every in conference game is basically a Q1 game for every team in those conferences. So even when a team keeps losing their NET doesn’t suffer as drastically as it should because they are losing to good teams. Thereby making them a good team. So the teams the beat them get their ranking and resume inflated. Ohio State feels like the obvious example there. They are clearly no longer a good team but their NET still makes them a quality win. And to be fair to NET, I think a lot of the predictive models and rankings (like KenPom) still have Ohio State still ranked in a respectable place. It’s just the nature of how they work. But it feels like a major flaw in the system, and giving extra weight to how a team ends their season (last 10 games or whatever) feels like a good way to balance that out. [Edited on February 23, 2023 at 2:49 PM. Reason : Ah]
2/23/2023 2:43:48 PM
I think the NET is probably a useful enough tool to weed out teams that have over-inflated records (like weeding out a team that is 24-4 but 19-0 vs Q3/4 for example) or to differentiate between teams that have similar records (a 18-12 vs a really good schedule and some really good wins vs 19-11 vs a much weaker schedule or lacking many quality Ws). You’d hope the committee uses it judiciously and obviously uses their brains and eyes to make most of the decisions. The problem imo is how the NET and the quads get talked about on broadcasts and in media. Maybe the NCAA needs to clarify how it is used or what it is meant to convey. I think it’s a decent enough piece of the puzzle for the committee to use. But whatever its true value to the committee is seems to get lost in translation somewhere along the way. I think what it boils down to is transparency.

This team has been fun to watch on this hot streak. Excited to see then keep it up this weekend. If Smith gets out of his mini funk on 3 point shooting we will be even more dangerous.
2/24/2023 6:24:48 AM
Bally!!
2/25/2023 12:18:41 AM
Just remember the positives of Bally: 1) no Cory Alexander, Jay Bilas or whatever other absolutely terrible announcer ACCN/ESPN decides to put on our game2) no mind numbingly awful random cuts to awkward camera angles during live action that ESPN produced broadcasts love3) no 20 minutes bracketology segments during game action.
2/25/2023 1:22:30 AM
^ita a nice thought, but Cory Alexander literally did Wednesday’s game Vs Wake, which was on Bally
2/25/2023 7:15:07 AM
I feel like Bally does a better job showing replays than ACCN.I also like Cory Alexander just fine[Edited on February 25, 2023 at 7:16 AM. Reason : A]
2/25/2023 7:16:38 AM
Is there any update on Clark's injury?
2/25/2023 7:40:25 AM
2/25/2023 9:38:15 AM
^^ none that I’ve seen
2/25/2023 9:48:43 AM
I’d prefer the game not be on Bally Sports because I don’t get it on YouTube TV.
2/25/2023 9:55:18 AM
2/25/2023 10:07:55 AM
Clark might play today. Or he might not. Tune in to Bally (if you get it) to see!
2/25/2023 10:50:54 AM
2/25/2023 10:57:29 AM
Man fuck the acc or whoever for not showing this on a real fucking network.
2/25/2023 11:02:57 AM
^Amen. They're pulling this BS AGAIN?
2/25/2023 11:28:16 AM
2/25/2023 12:07:39 PM
Jesus Clemson is on fire. Looked like a legit foul on T so idk why KK is so fired up
2/25/2023 12:09:57 PM
The internet tells me that KK wanted a moving screen called. So idk
2/25/2023 12:13:19 PM
Yeah, I don’t really know what the fuck just happened, but I like our response on the other end of the floor
2/25/2023 12:13:41 PM
Clemson is putting on a fucking clinic. Our defense is horrible and they’re making everything
2/25/2023 12:19:07 PM
28 points in less than 8 minutes
2/25/2023 12:21:28 PM
Burns can’t guard Hall. We don’t have anybody that can guard him apparently. Gantt is probably too small. Ebe is not good. Clark is hurt
2/25/2023 12:21:46 PM
T, morsell, Gantt, Ebe, Thomas. What a lineup. It’s like playing 2 vs 5 on O
2/25/2023 12:27:40 PM
Looks like Clemson is doing a lotta grabbing and reaching as our guards come around screens. Not getting called. But obviously our bad defense and T and Morsell being cold is the biggest issue
2/25/2023 12:32:03 PM
This game sucks
2/25/2023 12:34:10 PM
Gotta take T out. He’s fouled 2x on 3 pointers and can’t throw it in the ocean
2/25/2023 12:34:43 PM
Gonna give up 60 points in the first half at this pace
2/25/2023 12:39:34 PM
