Yes, he did. I only saw the article cause Joey Powell linked it and applauded Hairston for his "respectable attitude" and beyond-his-years "humility." LOLOLOL

You guy are off your rockers, the intent is to go after unc, not the athletes. Calling PJ a piece of shit for smoking weed and drivig too fast is a bit much

^^ In my book driving around with guns and drugs frequently enough that you get caught for it by the cops makes you a piece of shit. He didn't "drive too fast" he fucking rolled up to a checkpoint with a gun and weed

He's a piece of shit for his entitled, holier than thou attitude. He got caught repeatedly breaking the law and even had pictures of him drinking on FB iirc, right after all this came to a head. I was young and stupid when I was 19-21 and paid the piper. If he weren't a student athlete he'd probably be in jail.

Just because you "paid the piper," it doesn't mean other people should have to face steep penalties for their stupidity. I mean, I personally like to see folks skate on victimless crimes.

But I also won't pretend some kid is super amazing cause he's able to admit it when he screws up. That's pretty basic.

driving around recklessly with guns and drugs is not how victimless crimes start out.

I hear ya. But there's no evidence that he robbed somebody or made young children get potted up. So, as far as I know, he and his buddies sold drugs and carried a gun to protect themselves and their belongings. Young people with illegal firearms terrify me, but I also enjoy it when people don't go to jail or prison. It's a tough one for BridgetSPK.

It's plausible! For real though, I think I just became #1 PJ Hairston fan. He consistently kept Chapel Hill in the news with his hilarious criminal antics and NCAA violations. And then he left on bad terms to go be awesome in the NBA.

I guess what I'm trying to say is I'm buying a Texas Legends t-shirt.

but as long as UNC is the entity retaining him, there's still a conflict of interest

He's a lawyer, and was hired by UNC.

No one hires a lawyer to get them into trouble. They hire a lawyer to stay out of trouble. Simple as that. This will be another whitewash with some framework around it to appear unimpeachable. Businessweek, the N&O, and the NYT will rip this new report apart, and make them look stupid.

Again.

But with each report the degree of stupidity keeps diminishing. The public will soon get tired of that 'UNC academic scandal' and the media will move on. Looks like they are amortizing the damage/impact with each report/investigation that they put out.

What a fucking cumstain of a school. Their leaders are human beings of the lowest degree.

Dan Kane y'all .

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Any money the state has access to and can be spent by a government organization is state money regardless of where it came from. I don't give a shit if it wasn't tax dollars, you're taking a resource held by the state and not getting anything for it and I think that is a huge problem.

Facebook quote with my redneck UNC friend ...

Are you really saying that dean smith was dirty? First I heard about it. Jimmy v was dirty and yall went on probation. ...I dont talk about that much because I have respect for his legacy....we KNOW what he did....you are guessing about dean......if you are a black player bound for the nba you bide your time studying things that interest you.....African American studies for a black guy is special for them like some history majors for a white guy and it was one professor not the whole university. Your bitter but wake up. When this new private investigator finds nothing will you let it rest?

Lol
