I definitely remember GT's championship season (I was 8) but they'll always be second fiddle to UGA. That's what I meant by big-time. Maybe by the time his career ends he'll have elevated GT to national prominence and the state leader, but I doubt that's his career goal.It could happen Jaybee. I won't deny the possibility.[Edited on November 1, 2008 at 9:09 PM. Reason : because i respond to posts on page 27 without reading page 28]

Tech absolutely picking Texas apart. Harrell has time to take a nap in the pocket.[Edited on November 1, 2008 at 9:09 PM. Reason : ]

GT's fans suck and nobody wants to go to Atlanta when they could go to Athens, Knoxville, or Gainesville. A gimmicky offense is perfect for them though. They should be a program that fields a top 25 team every year.GT got really really lucky in 1990. I think that was also the year before FSU joined the ACC[Edited on November 1, 2008 at 9:15 PM. anyone else's hd channels out right now?
11/1/2008 9:13:57 PM
Anyone else noticed the fortunes of teams that we have played in the past in our more "recent" bowl games and teams that we have sheduled as OOC opponents? Texas Tech is sick now. Kansas went to the orange bowl out of nowhere last year and South Florida frequents the top 25. Cycles in college football are funny to say the least. Wish we could get some good karma from having played these teams.

If Texas loses, would that make USC #1 again?
11/1/2008 10:06:01 PM
Alabama you shithook
11/1/2008 10:06:48 PM
see, this is what i don't like. If Texas loses tonight, OU will jump them in the polls.......even though texas beat them head to head on a neutral field just a few games ago. Stupid
11/1/2008 10:17:25 PM
definitely a block in the back
11/1/2008 10:17:34 PM
looked like a block in the back to me....texas got lucky
11/1/2008 10:17:41 PM
After further review, we just realized that Texas might be our conferences only chance to win a NC this year, so there was no block on the back. Hook 'em Horns!
11/1/2008 10:18:02 PM
obvious block in the back there, texas getting help from the refs
11/1/2008 10:18:54 PM
the line judge saw it from 30 yards away, it was definitely a block in the back
11/1/2008 10:21:00 PM
I think that was God's way of punishing TT for going three and out on three runs. Has a TT team ever had three runs in a row?
11/1/2008 10:22:48 PM
Hi Texas Tech, now you know what it feels like to play Florida, USC, Ohio State, West Virginia, and Florida State in the 90s. Enjoy
11/1/2008 10:23:15 PM
crabtree's still carrying it like a loaf of bread after the fumble
