I definitely remember GT's championship season (I was 8) but they'll always be second fiddle to UGA. That's what I meant by big-time. Maybe by the time his career ends he'll have elevated GT to national prominence and the state leader, but I doubt that's his career goal.

It could happen Jaybee. I won't deny the possibility.

Tech absolutely picking Texas apart. Harrell has time to take a nap in the pocket.

GT's fans suck and nobody wants to go to Atlanta when they could go to Athens, Knoxville, or Gainesville. A gimmicky offense is perfect for them though. They should be a program that fields a top 25 team every year.

GT got really really lucky in 1990. I think that was also the year before FSU joined the ACC

Anyone else noticed the fortunes of teams that we have played in the past in our more "recent" bowl games and teams that we have sheduled as OOC opponents? Texas Tech is sick now. Kansas went to the orange bowl out of nowhere last year and South Florida frequents the top 25. Cycles in college football are funny to say the least. Wish we could get some good karma from having played these teams.

see, this is what i don't like. If Texas loses tonight, OU will jump them in the polls.......even though texas beat them head to head on a neutral field just a few games ago. Stupid

After further review, we just realized that Texas might be our conferences only chance to win a NC this year, so there was no block on the back. Hook 'em Horns!

I think that was God's way of punishing TT for going three and out on three runs. Has a TT team ever had three runs in a row?

Hi Texas Tech, now you know what it feels like to play Florida, USC, Ohio State, West Virginia, and Florida State in the 90s. Enjoy

Georgia should have been ranked #1 earlier this year, but was ousted by USC.

There is literally ZERO chance of this happening. The SEC CG loser isn't playing for the NC...

^ you should probably start our own invite-only CFB message board.. easier than having to sift through the crap...
