so did Huard AND Larry Johnson both have fumbles for the Chiefs or what? Cause I thought a fumbled handoff is charged to either the QB or RB, not both
10/8/2006 4:53:20 PM
fuckin a. checked news at 12:45 before and said Westbrook was out. I look at box scores and he's playing.god damnit this is killing me without him in.
10/8/2006 5:01:22 PM
oh well. first loss.jesus, i put in favre for huard at the last minute, too.[Edited on October 8, 2006 at 5:08 PM. Reason : df]
10/8/2006 5:05:35 PM
damnit. JAX has already put up 28 and there's 7mins left in the 2nd QTR. Doubt Reggie Williams will do anything at all in the 2nd Half with this big ass lead. I need Willie and Denver D to have good nights and I might be able to pull out a win.
10/8/2006 5:05:42 PM
^^^ same here, but I replaced him with Marion Barber, so I'm not struggling THAT badly.
10/8/2006 5:48:41 PM
Wow, should've played Jax defense.
10/8/2006 6:49:11 PM
I just need a 2 td game from parker!
10/8/2006 7:22:04 PM
i was dead on this week :gloat:
10/8/2006 11:10:17 PM
Damn, this was my team's weakest output yet.I can still win if the Ravens D doesn't put up 25 points, though (which they haven't the last two weeks).
10/8/2006 11:44:06 PM
I could have done 80% better with my sit/start choices Should have picked NO instead of SD defenseHuard instead of FavreWelker instead of doug gabriel
10/8/2006 11:56:35 PM
shocker Hines ward doesnt do shit for me again3-2 now....
10/8/2006 11:59:43 PM
any chance DEN defense gets me negative points tom. night? i'm up by 1. should i just put denver defense on the bench or run up the score? After startin 0-3... I've won the last two. wooooooo[Edited on October 9, 2006 at 12:02 AM. Reason : 2]
10/9/2006 12:01:53 AM
ALWAYS GO THE SAFE ROUTEalso make sure no stat corrections fuck you tomorrow, before you bench them
10/9/2006 12:05:05 AM
Unless Rod Smith and Javon Walker combine for 17 points against the Ravens, I win this week.It would move me to 3-2 in that league.
10/9/2006 12:05:53 AM
woot for me having a down week and my opponent sucking majoor donkey ballsI'm up 43 and my opponent has tatum bell and the broncos d
10/9/2006 12:07:52 AM
It's pretty unlikely that Denver will get negative points. You would be safe to sit them, but remember that total points can be tiebreakers.
10/9/2006 12:19:07 AM
i would play them. i almost made the same decision last week. stat corrections would have screwed me if i did.
10/9/2006 12:26:39 AM
bledsoe or rivers next week?
10/9/2006 12:44:52 AM
bledsoe
10/9/2006 12:47:51 AM
are u serious???please tell me thats a joke
10/9/2006 12:49:33 AM
Gah.Last week my three receivers (Steve Smith, Colston and Andre Johnson) combined for 58 points. This week? A whopping 19.6 from Smith, Colston and Furrey (since Johnson had a bye). It's OK. It was my first loss. I'm 4-1 and if the scores all hold, which it looks like they will--I'm still in first by a game.[Edited on October 9, 2006 at 12:51 AM. Reason : bye]
10/9/2006 12:50:53 AM
rivers vs the sf secondaryand bledsoe over the texans secondary?
10/9/2006 12:51:28 AM
i have andre johnson and steve smith too, they yhave been kicking assnot so much this week
10/9/2006 12:54:04 AM
Yeah, next week should be pretty good.Smith, Johnson and Furrey at WR and Colston at TE since he's listed as a WR/TE.
10/9/2006 12:55:29 AM
hopefully
10/9/2006 12:55:53 AM
OK, for next week in my WR/RB slot:WR Michael Clayton vs. CincyRB Michael Turner vs. SFRB Brandon Jacobs vs. AtlantaMy starting receivers are Smith, Furrey and Andre Johnson. My starting RBs are Edge and Willie Parker.
10/9/2006 1:01:23 AM
^turner. garbage time carries
10/9/2006 1:12:37 AM
I need to pick up a RB (or two). Options are Maurice Jones-Drew, Michael Turner, Noah Herron, Leon Washington. Leaning toward Jones-Drew and then Washington. Also, need a new QB...been holding out hope Green would make it back and McNair would do decent until then...but I could use some better results. Is Damon Huard worth a try? McNair doesnt put up big numbers, but he is consistent...I know what Im gonna get.
10/9/2006 6:49:18 AM
Huard, Gradkowski
10/9/2006 8:12:57 AM
i'll be damed if Willie Parker didnt almost get the 80 and a TD.
10/9/2006 9:47:10 AM
Dropped a couple of guys (B. Johnson and B. Franks.... I have EManning/Brees and Crumpler so I don't really need those guys at all anymore) and lookin to pick up a couple (already took Gradkowski for the hell of it, he might turn TB's season around):I am sort of lookin for a WR, but possibly a Defense or RB (I have DEN as my only defense right now but have been planning on using them until they face a bigtime office, then snag a defense off the waiver wire for that week only). Here's some of the top guys left - Who would ya'll take (1)? Welker (MIA, WR.... We don't get RET yards but we get points for RET TD's)Mi. Clayton (TB, WR)Ma. Clayton (BAL, WR)N. Herron (GB, running back - how long will Ahman be out?)C. Benson (CHI, RB - I already have T. Jones, W. Parker who will start as my two RB's most weeks)A. Battle (SF, WR)Br. Johnson (ARI, WR)E. Parker (SD, WR)D. Hall (KC, WR... see Welker)H. Baskett (PHI, WR)L. Washington (NYJ, RB)Defenses: NYG, MIA, DET, ARI, TEN, SF, GB, OAK, CLE, HOU
10/9/2006 11:14:03 AM
DeAngelo Williams out for a number of weeks
10/9/2006 11:23:11 AM
Damn, guess I should go ahead and drop DeAngelo. I was banking on Deshaun getting hurt before him. Guess I need to pick up two guys off that list I just put up.Panthro, any ideas? BTW, I appreciate the help on Willie. I was close to benching him.
10/9/2006 11:25:51 AM
Would you accept a trade Ben R. for Keshawn Johnson?I would be getting KJ
10/9/2006 12:28:25 PM
Hell yes. Who are your other QB's though?
10/9/2006 1:10:00 PM
why do people still have Big Ben on their roster?
10/9/2006 2:14:04 PM
so next week im gonna need a QB to pick up since Peyton is on a breakheres who is left as a FAB. Roethlisberger(Pit - QB)J. Losman(Buf - QB) J. Kitna(Det - QB) B. Gradkowski(TB - QB) (Bal - QB) A. Smith(SF - QB) who do i go with, and im gonna drop my extra TE heath miller for this QB since I have Colston
10/9/2006 4:21:44 PM
^check their matchups
10/9/2006 4:25:10 PM
^^ you'll have to play match-ups. If any of those guys is facing a team like Oakland, then start that guy...[Edited on October 9, 2006 at 4:25 PM. Reason : ^ beat me to it]
10/9/2006 4:25:43 PM
plummer is facing oaktown
10/9/2006 5:34:59 PM
Yeah dude, Denver might run for 350 yards that day. Stay away from Jakis.
10/9/2006 5:35:52 PM
once again for ur viewing pleasurewith matchupsJ. Kitna(Det - QB) Buf J. Losman(Buf - QB) @Det B. Roethlisberger(Pit - QB) KC J. Harrington(Mia - QB) @NYJ A. Smith(SF - QB) SD S. McNair(Bal - QB) Car B. Gradkowski(TB - QB) Cingo with either of the top 3 prolly...those are the best defenses to play against in my opinion, big ben may want to throw a TD so that may be an option. some free agents may become avaliable but i doubt it...its lookin either JP, Kitna, or Big Ben
10/9/2006 5:47:21 PM
J. Losman(Buf - QB)god thats an easy pick
10/9/2006 5:51:01 PM
I'm 4-1 in my league right now (would be 5-0 but I had to play Rivers his first week over Bledsoe out of respect and I lost by a few points).I'm lucky to be doing so well because a few of my guys are banged up. I have Vinateri and Matt Jones, but they've both been out for two weeks and will be for another week at least. I just lost Fitzgerald, but fortunately I picked up Joey Galloway.I have to choose amongst these for WR and TE:GallowayHolt (lock)CotcheryColston (WR/TE)McMichaelI have Jones and Fitz on the DL right now which sucks, but I can't drop either of them because they should be good when they get healthy, and I know they'll get picked up.I just dropped Furrey for Galloway.Up to this point I have been playing Colston at TE and sitting McMichael because of poor production, but I may actually have to play Colston at WR this week. It's a tough call and I'll have to wait until more info comes out later this week, but I am leaning towards Holt, Cotchery, and Galloway at WR and then Colston at TE, just because he has big game potential any day.
10/9/2006 6:38:27 PM
Now that Phil's free to throw, which SD receiver do you think is the best to pick up?Floyd seems like a big target, but Parker has more history...and then there's Jackson, who apparently Phil has hit a lot in practice in the past.
10/9/2006 9:42:52 PM
^martyball isn't dead...i don't think san diego will change their strategy very much...
10/9/2006 10:03:39 PM
sorry guys, I thought this had been posted earlier:Larry Fitzgerald to miss at least 2-5 weeks with a hamstring InjuryIf you are in need of depth at WR, or owned Fitz, pick up Bryant Johnston, the #3 (now #2) WR.All are bad plays this week though vs. Chicago.- The Guru

10/9/2006 10:37:56 PM
AHHH, LOST BY 1 POINT! I HATE YOU ADAM VINITIERI!!!!!
