5 dollars in, 161 out. My work's pool is dumb. Unweighted by round (1 point for a win and that's it). Outright winner gets 60%. Each region's winner gets 10%. I won one region outright and split a region with 3 others. Oh, and they allow multiple brackets. While I found that annoying at the start I'm not complaining too much now.

I am a michigan fan and have been my entire life. I really wish i could un-watch this game and just pretend it was a fairly officiated game where Michigan was just beaten by a better team

According to Greg Gumbel the Werner ladder people and the NCAA were in discussions to see how Ware was going to cut down the nets

22 to 15 foul calls in favor of Michigan WITH them fouling to stop the clock at the end. Aside from the one blown clean block that was called a foul, the refs didn't give this game to Louisville by any means. Michigan coach left his players on the bench instead of letting them leave it out on the floor. Even the commentars question why Burke was left on the bench during that Louisville Run

"Just got back from Golden Corral and saw State lose by 40 on my cellphone, missed the State game, how many did they win by?"

is the correct answer

huge coaching adjustment i've yet to see media cover: in the second half, Pitino kept walk-on Tim Henderson on the bench, instead having the much more athletic wing Wayne Blackshear check Michigan ball handlers

Henderson was getting burned, see the two drives from Albrecht; Blackshear was a lot more effective in the second half

I know michigan fans are going to hate on some of those calls, but behanan was getting mugged everytime he was at the rim in the second half. crazy officiating.

I actually ended up rooting for Michigan and aside from Burkes second foul I didn't think it was a horribly officiated game. UL is tough to ref in general because of their style and quickness but I didn't see anything egregious.

ACC now has 7 of last 14 titles (current or future). Big East probably cemented itself as best conference of the 6 AQ conference era last night as well, just before its death.

Our first and second place finishers in the office bracket pool didn't even get last night's game correct

So the Fab Five never won a game in the NCAA tourney that wasn't vacated?

The list of vacated tourney games is interesting. Jimmy V had two tourneys vacated here but Duke didn't for Magette. So weird.

[Edited on April 9, 2013 at 2:14 PM. Reason : Wtf he had games vacated at Iona too]

the whole idea of vacating wins is hilarious to me

without the use of the Men in Black mind eraser, what's the point?

Lol I think it was Doyell who asked Calipari how he was enjoying his first Final Four the year Butler played UConn. He was not happy.

Our top guy had it locked before the Sweet 16 started. He had all the final 4 teams. Michigan was his dark horse to go all the way that nobody else had. He even got the damn winner in Louisville. Fuck that guy.

He had Wichita State in the final four?? Were multiple brackets allowed in your pool?
