^ Bitch please. You posted that after mine. I saw that coming a mile away.

"I can give you more in depth reasons as to why, but this is where I would start. FWIW, Romo isn't a bad option either. I see lots of yards and lots of turnovers in his weekend. Vick won't throw for the yards that Romo will, but Vick will add 75 rushing yards which would be equivalent to another 175+ passing yards. I'm thinking 75 is the floor, too. Jax has one off the worst, but specifically, one of the slowest defenses in the league. Match that with Vick, DeSean Jackson, Maclin, McCoy and Celek (pretty fast for a TE) and they are looking like they can put up some points this week.

It's not uncommon for weather this time of year in Florida, so monitor that on Sunday. If it's anything other than sunshine, you may want to start Romo since they will be indoors, but overall. I'd feel really good about Vick.""

Ok, with Jerome Harrison out, and Steven Jackson possibly injured and McCoy a terrible week, I need some help in the RB department, unfortunately our league is 16 teams in depth.

Out of the options:
BenJarvus Green-Elis
Kenneth Darby (depending on how long Steven Jackson is out, probably last choice, but looked good as backup)
Laurence Maroney (depending on how long Moreno is injured, got some touches today at the goal-line though didn't score.)
Leon Washington

Rashad Jennings & Donald Brown & John Kuhn are available too.

there are plenty of leagues that award return yards

ours is one that does (only reason I'm upset I didn't start cribbs this week because I heard he was hurt and not gonna get much action today)

going against mason crosby and ronnie brown still, but i'm up by 20, and I have johnny knox... think I'll pull it off?

Down by 7.2 in my Yahoo league. I still have Mason Crosby and Donald Driver going tomorrow night, but he's got Jermichael Finley and Greg Jennings going...so he should be able to hang on. I'm kicking myself for not starting Mike Wallace. But Matt Schaub and Miles Austin didn't do me any favors this week.

Down by 7 in my ESPN league. I have Miami's D and Brandon Marshall playing right now...he's got Mason Crosby going tomorrow. So I'll need Marshall to get some nice numbers in order to have a chance.

ETA: Seconds after I post, Marshall scores...right on cue. So maybe its not over just yet.

Brandon Marshall is doing his best to get me my first W in my ESPN league. Now up 7...he's got Mason Crosby and Packers coach (+3 for W/-3 for L) going tomorrow night...so I've got a chance but I really need Marshall to put up some more numbers.

Up 36 in 1 league, even with the 49ers D getting me 2. Thanks to Vick and Boldin, I was able to withstand AD's performance today. My opponent has Greg Jennings left, so barring a record setting performance, I'm good. As for the other league, I'm up 20 (no thanks to Colston & Nicks), but my opponent has Cutler left to play. Not sure what to expect from that.

Fucking Brett Favre is killing me; Guess I will be playing Orton from here on, also have Roethlisberger so hopefully after he gets back he comes out firing the fucking pigskin.

Steven Jackson's injury surely didn't help today either.

btw, he still came close to projected points in both my leagues (cause it is so far b/w his td's, he is just a yards producing machine)

I think I'm going to:
DROP T.Owens and ADD J.Cribbs
DROP J.Harrison and ADD D. Brown (or maybe Kuhn after tonight)

Why do you people report a play by play of your team and points?

NO ONE CARES.

Leave this thread for player discussions, injuries, advice, etc.

I don't really have room left on my bench for LJ again, but he's a FA obviously and I have SJax. Would Tolbert, Felix Jones, or Donald Brown be worth dropping based the rumor about Rams if MRI is no good news? I guess even if they do pick him up, that doesn't mean he wont just go right back to sucking like he did behind Portis.

I suppose waiting to see how Cutler does tonight and then trying to trade one of my 3 effing QBs for a decent RB would be a better plan. Then again, one guy is absolutely stacked at WR and needs a QB. I could probably get a top 10 for Vick. He has Andre Johnson, Calvin Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald, Steve Smith(NYG) and Hakeem Nicks w/Brett Favre and Garrard.

i care if a player's name is coupled to any statement. any info i can get by "ctrl-f+player" name in this thread, i will take it into consideration.

but "i almost won my matchup!" or "i have 37 points so far!" is useless

as long as Jermichael Finley doesn't outscore Matt Forte by over 32 points, I will remain undefeated in the MW2 league

I've given out tons of advice on this board, but my post about starting Maroney over Hillis has been bothering me all day. I didnt know Harrison was out for the game, fwiw, but I blew the call in this case and said you should go with Maroney over Hillis (even though Maroney had a TD reversed which wouldve evened their point totals a little). Sorry random tww user

ok, here is some news on Steven Jackson:

according to his twitter account, he has strained his groin and his availability is day to day

and:

"Coach Steve Spagnuolo said he'd leave it up to Jackson and team trainers whether he would be able to bounce back and play this week against Seattle."

not the best news, but far from the worst we could be hearing

my guess is he's out a minimum of 1 week, most likely 2... groin sprains don't go away that easily.... and yes, SO glad he didn't have a tear, that could've ruined my team

i'm curious as to how bad it actually is

I seem to remember Jackson just pushing thru leg things in the past that would normally keep a back out

I'm hoping this is the same, but going against Seattle's run defense, I could totally see him taking it easy

I guess it will be RunDMC and Tolbert for me this week... unless someone can convince me to start Wells this week (they are playing against each other, and I think tolbert will play better against Arizona's defense). Stupid Ryan Grant

I've conceded victory in my Yahoo league...dropping me to 2-1. In my ESPN league, I need Crosby to not score any more (I'm up by 2 and he's got Crosby). He's also got the Packers HC (so a win is +3 and a loss is -3). So technically, Crosby could score as many as 4 more points, as long as the Packers still lose. But if the Packers win, and Crosby doesn't miss another FG or miss an XP then I'm done. I really need a W too...I'm 0-2 in this league.

Out of these three TEs which two would you take.

Greg Olsen
Chris Cooley
Dustin Keller

I have Cooley and Keller but someone just dropped Olsen and I think he might be a better play than Cooley but McNabb loves the TE so I can't figure out what to do.

Tough call and you could probably just flip a coin between Cooley and Olsen. I'm a fan of Cooley for consistency purposes. So far he has 20 targets in 3 games to Olsens 13.

What do you guys think about DeSean Jackson? Do you think he can keep this production up for the rest of the season or would he be a good sell high guy as long as you get a top end player. I worry about his reliance on the deep ball.

[Edited on September 28, 2010 at 11:02 AM. Reason : definitely keep Keller]

3-0, 0-2

my 0-2 league, week one I lost because of eli's garbage td at the end of the game, and this week I lost, well, because a) I made some poor decisions, and b) that fucker got lucky as a son of a bitch!

I am definitely going to be keeping an eye on the injury status of S. Jackson- what sucks is there isn't anyone really left on the wires in either of my leagues, and I can't afford to trade anyone away (at least a player that anyone would want)

also, I'm beginning to really think about dropping San Fran's defense... 2 weeks, I can understand, but getting blown up by the chiefs- I don't care if this is their season, you don't get blown up 3 weeks in a row

grrrr- I new I shoulda taking a safe defense instead of banking on a possible scoring/turnover machine that seems to have fizzled
