i agree i dont understand why hairston isn't getting more nba hype, the guy is a stud. Athletic, great shooter/scorer... just seems like a legitimate lottery pick in a really weak draft too.JMM on the other hand looks like a terrible NBA prospect. I don't understand why he'd be on anyone's radar. Shoots horribly, disappeared on the glass... his only strength is steals and transition dunks...
3/28/2013 11:50:53 PM
All three will come back...only because we are State and they are UNC.
4/1/2013 3:04:26 PM
They'll probably get Wiggins as well...fsl (fuck State's life):

Our players don't even have to pass their go to classes, just ask Julius Peppers. - Roy Williams
4/6/2013 5:59:03 AM
If they all come back it will be interesting to see if they go back to their traditional sets or keep the 4 guard lineup. Paige sucked until they spread the court. I think that had more to do with his "development" than anything. They go back to traditional sets with fat Meeks I think things get interesting. Also they are going to have a lot of egos to massage next season if they all come back and get Wiggins on top of it. Although Roy is pretty good at that.

Goodman reporting that Hairston is staying. Fuck. He's the one I most wanted to leave.
4/7/2013 6:53:03 PM
Quit bumping this shit for no reason. Q-Fred used to regulate on this type of thing.
4/7/2013 8:13:13 PM
Fuck indeed. Hairston is going to be scary good next year. Bullock is a good shooter and all, but he doesn't scare anyone like Hairston.I'm still really hoping McAdoo goes. I don't think he's a great player, but it would screw with their small lineup plan and they'd have to play some inexperienced guys down low.
4/7/2013 9:51:11 PM
It's mistake by Hairston to not maximize his draft stock vs this weak draft class because next year's draft looks to be loaded with talent at the 2/3 spots
4/7/2013 10:05:55 PM
^I wonder if TJ will be a top 15 pick.
4/9/2013 1:16:15 AM
well...at least this means they probably won't get Wiggins.I also don't think that this makes them awesome. It will make them marginally better than they were this year, which is something around the 3rd or 4th best team in the ACC and maybe a 6 seed in the tourney. Their inside game still sucks and they will lose when Hairston and Bullock aren't hitting.
4/15/2013 8:42:19 AM
hahahaha we won't sniff 3-4

4/15/2013 10:05:23 AM
Thank god Bullock changed his mind.Although I would have rather Hairston declared (he's a slightly better player IMO), this still hurts them pretty bad. It pretty much puts all the perimeter and shot-making pressure on Hairston. He's off...they're off.Macadoo sucks...but he can still dominate against shitty teams. If he somehow leaves and they don't get Wiggins...then they'll struggle.*******fingers crossed**********
4/16/2013 8:48:01 AM
So Bullock officially declared for the draft? Thank God if true. MacAdoo has got to declare as well if he has any hope of playing in the NBA. Unless he makes a Thomas Robinson type improvement this next year, he will be a 2nd rounder at best in next years draft.
4/16/2013 9:54:10 AM
think Noel declaring helps Kentucky's chances to land Wiggins?
4/16/2013 11:44:15 AM
not one bit
4/16/2013 11:46:56 AM
if wiggins plans on growing to 6'10 or taller over the summer, then sure it helped

THEY GOTTA GUARD ????? US TOO PAL!
4/24/2013 9:23:47 AM
I think their baseball team has gotten just as much benefit from their sham classes and grades changes as the football and basketball teams. That program rose to the top during the last 10 years of this shit. Would be nice to get a series win this weekend.
4/24/2013 9:26:39 AM
i totally agree with you. there were baseball players in those classes iirc[Edited on April 24, 2013 at 12:47 PM. Reason : sdgf]

Baseball team lost on a walkofff to Georgia Tech.
5/11/2013 9:09:09 AM
UNC loses its first series of the season. Lost to GT 9-8 in 11 innings. But if you factor in the UNC media bias, number one in all polls sounds about right.
5/13/2013 1:24:12 AM
Well given that they only have 6 losses on the season, they probably still deserve it. Maybe Vanderbilt could move to number 1. I hate UNC as much as any NC State fan, but let's not be stupid here. 6 losses this late in the season is more than impressive.
5/13/2013 10:21:03 AM
If Vandy didn't lose this weekend, then they'll definitely take over the #1 spot. One poll had them tied for the top spot last week.UNC still has a badass team, but their schedule was frontloaded with shitty teams this year. They are struggling against the meat of their schedule right now.Fuck them.
5/13/2013 10:38:24 AM
Vandy swept this weekend against Kentucky, so maybe they'll take the number one spot.UNC still has a series against UVA and a non-conference game against FSU, so we'll see how they look after that.[Edited on May 13, 2013 at 10:54 AM. Reason : Also, fuck UNC]
5/13/2013 10:54:04 AM
^^^I don't believe I'm being stupid. Yes 6 losses is very impressive. Also having a single digit strength of schedule with close to single digit losses is impressive (I'm not saying as impressive as 6 losses, but non the less impressive). And saying a team is number one in the nation because the have the least amount losses is absurd. Let's not be stupid here, we all know polls and rankings have to do with what have you done lately. UNC had 2 losses from February 15 to April 21. In that stretch they were 39-2 which is extremely impressive and deserved to be number 1. Since then they are 6-4 and no they do not deserve to be number one today; with a strength of schedule of 18. Vanderbilt has won 12 straight games and deserves to be number one. So yes, I despise that hell hole in Chapel Hill, but my statement was valid, if UNC is number one it is because of the media bias, not because they deserve it. And by the way, State has the least amount of losses of any team with a single digit strength of schedule. That is an unrelated fact, but still fun.[Edited on May 13, 2013 at 1:50 PM. Reason : ]

UNC non conference game against FSU. Really? What did I miss
5/13/2013 2:11:00 PM
Considering all they have left is the UVA series and a weekday game vs App St. It was a typo and meant ASU.[Edited on May 13, 2013 at 2:15 PM. Reason : ]
5/13/2013 2:14:28 PM
No it's not. They play Florida State next Monday. They added the game last week.
5/13/2013 2:21:58 PM
Well I stand corrected. I guess I was looking at an outdated schedule. Now I will also pose the question. Why would it be non-conference. I am looking at goheels.com and there is no asterisk beside the game denoting it as a conference game. So what gives?
5/13/2013 2:27:14 PM
UNC will probably throw the game so FSU can add that on the résumé and get the last national seed
