^i would do it. you can only start 3 (at most). and of course you'll have 3 bye weeks where you might miss out on a couple points, but i'd say go for it.

to repost for this pageguy has LThe wants me to trade Bwestbrook and one of my other RBs who are Parker, Henry or MBIIIshould I go for the trade? that leaves me with 3 RBs we run a 2 RB and 1 flex spot.should I go for the trade?10 man league
9/18/2007 5:32:54 PM
i have no idea what to do for this week
9/18/2007 6:23:58 PM

Guru and friends, what are your thoughts on cadillac williams? Was last week just a fluke or is he going to put up numbers like that almost every week? And also, out of these quarterbacks: delhomme, brees, or favre, which one would be the better long term fantasy QB?[Edited on September 18, 2007 at 7:09 PM. Reason : .][Edited on September 18, 2007 at 7:32 PM. Reason : .]
9/18/2007 7:08:47 PM
uh, you can do a lot better for gates than fucking cadillac williams.
9/18/2007 7:12:21 PM
brees hassssss to improve, theres no doubt in my mind he will.I think Caddy may be injury prone again this year, I think last week was just a fluke against that D.anyone wanna answer my question(the more people to answer the better)
9/18/2007 7:23:13 PM
^Yea I would do it in a heartbeatWestbrook and HenryParker is playing quite well and Dallas has such a high powered offense going right now, he is bound to score a bunch
9/18/2007 7:42:45 PM
I would definitely do that deal as well although I personally would probably go with Westbrook and MBIII instead of Henry. Henry is THE back in Denver and with all these yards he's getting , he's bound to find the endzone soon. Either one you choose to include, you are definitely winning that deal by getting LT. QB(Pick 2):-GROSSman vs. Dallas( i swore that when Pennington came back I would never start Grossman again, but its tempting against that Dallas defense)-Pennington vs. Miami - Pennington doesn't have the huge arm that all the New Yorkers want with Clemens but he always completes a good percentage and can get the job done. -Garrard @ Denver - going against a tough Denver D but he's been my most consistent QB option so far. RB:Thinking about switching Ronnie Brown out(given him enough chances) just don't know who to put in. It's between:1) Cedric Benson - had a good week, against the horrible Dallas defense2) DeShaun Foster - @ horrible Atlanta team, although I think DeA will continue to take carries from him3) Marshawn Lynch - against tough NE defense. -Or do you guys think I should give Brown another week against the Jets?[Edited on September 18, 2007 at 9:18 PM. Should I pickup Jacoby Jones or Roydell Williams from waivers? Only have 1 spot to work with.
9/18/2007 10:11:51 PM
this one is killing me. can't decide which duo i want to make a trade for.tony romo and travis henryorjon kitna and willie parkerkitna throws a lot of interceptions and just got a concussion, but throws for a lot of yards and has good receivers. romo has looked damn good but i don't know how long that can last. and the running backs are pretty even in my mind. suggestions?
9/18/2007 10:24:35 PM
jon kitna and travis henryparker is the back in Steeler land and Romo has some weapons so keep themget rid of the others, henry just cant score the TDs it seems, i wanna keep him too but let him go to get LT
9/18/2007 10:27:06 PM
I could destroy any of you foolsQB - Palmer and BradyRB - LT, Gore, ParkerWR - Steve Smith, Moss, Berrian, Horn, holtTE - DavisD - Ravens and NEWhat what?
9/18/2007 10:28:34 PM
^and it begins....
9/18/2007 10:31:00 PM
flowinwordz is in a 2 team league and he still cant get a decent TE
9/18/2007 10:33:22 PM
shit son, wise up
9/18/2007 10:37:41 PM
^^yeah Romo and Parker would be nice but the trade I'm working on involves these two combos only:i could trade for:one option: Kitna and W. Parkeranother option: Romo and T. Henry if you had to choose a duo from those 2 options, which would it be?[Edited on September 18, 2007 at 10:39 PM. Reason : ]
9/18/2007 10:38:42 PM
i would do Romo and T. Henry for kitna and parker in a heart beat fool
9/18/2007 10:40:49 PM
kitnas concussion may come back to haunt himmeanwhile with TO and MBIII Romo has a pretty good set of people to throw to.Parker is good, but they seem to be limited in the red zone.id keep Romo and Henry
9/18/2007 10:48:01 PM
good stuff. thanks^^^
9/18/2007 10:48:45 PM
hasselbeck vs. cincyordelhomme @ atl
9/18/2007 11:30:37 PM
^I'd say Delhomme as he has 6 TD and 1 INT this year...he's been a solid fantasy QB so far this year in the win and the loss...Atlanta has some issues all over the field and front office so I predict another 3 TD game after a bitter loss...Panthers are good on the road...I don't know what to think of Cincy's defense...I think their Week 1 effort was just division/rival/revenge factorI've got 2 trades I've proposed, 1 in each of my leagues. I don't know how feasible they are but if I don't get them, oh well. I'm 2-0 in one league and 1-1 in the other.Trade 1: I give up Brandon Marshall (Den - WR) and I get Lee Evans (Buf - WR)- dude is fed up with Evans and Marshall has nice stats through 2 weeks as a receiver. Also if Evans doesn't step up right away I have Chad Johnson, Andre Johnson, Santonio Holmes to tide me overTrade 2: I give up Julius Jones (DAL - RB) and I get Travis Henry (Den - RB)- the guys name is CLTCOWBOYFAN so maybe he'll be a huge homer...this one Bears fan in a league last year traded Carson, Chad and Shaun Alex for Grossman, Berrian and Gould...guess which one won the league last year]
9/18/2007 11:45:04 PM
i really want to play mark clayton this week
9/19/2007 12:03:15 AM
^you realize that he's a ravens receiver, right? He is like the fifth option on offense behind McGahee, Heap, Mason, Williamsand mcnair could be out again[Edited on September 19, 2007 at 12:08 AM. Reason : sdf]
9/19/2007 12:06:47 AM
clayton will eventually move up to the 3rd option, but let him prove he is healthy before messing with him^^^^Definitely Hasselbeck, it's the Bengals D [Edited on September 19, 2007 at 1:46 AM. Reason : d]
9/19/2007 1:45:07 AM
clayton put up numbers last year
9/19/2007 2:09:56 AM
Alright guy didnt bite on the Alexander tradeI give up K. WinslowI get L. Jordan
9/19/2007 10:04:53 AM
Let him sweat it out.Right now, the difference between the top RB's and the lower tiered ones is next to nothing. But the difference between the top TE's (Gates and Winslow) vs the lower tiered ones is a really big difference. I would not trade Winslow for Lamont, especially if Lamont wouldnt be one of your starters. See if you can pair Witten and someone from your roster for one of the three RB's that you mentioned (Brown, Jordan, Caddy) and see what you can do. I'm all about depth, but YOU need to ask yourself how much this depth is worth...What good is a strong bench if:A) your starters are now unproductive because you traded away all of your starsand B) if you can't play all 3 or 4 solid RB's at one time, why have them! I would rather have 2 or 3 solid RB's and a great TE vs. 4 great RB's and an ok TE, especially if you can only play 2 RB's at a time!Counter offer if you want. If you do, I would try to package something with Witten.[Edited on September 19, 2007 at 10:18 AM. Reason : asdf]
9/19/2007 10:17:40 AM
barberIII is up against chicago...goal line carrier, TD machine, usuallyd. ward is playing the redskins...starter after jacobs hurt, playing pretty wellwho ya got?
9/19/2007 12:57:41 PM
the redskins have been shutting the run down, I would take barber and hope he scores
9/19/2007 1:03:11 PM
I disagree, but only if you arent in a PPR league. In a PPR, I go with MB3, but in a standard league, I go with Ward.Westy had ~95 yards rushing and 50-60 yds receiving against the Redskins a few days ago, and the Dolphins in week 1 were just terrible, so they arent much of a litmus test. I really like Ward to have a similar game this week against the Redskins, but instead of 50-60 yds receiving, he will likely have more like 30 BUT i see him finding paydirt this weekend. As for MB3, they Cowboys still are intent on splitting carries between he and JJ, and I see this as much more of a ball control game that the first two of the season for the Cowboys. With field position being a big issue, I see the Boys doing most of their work between the 20's, AKA Julius Jones playing an even bigger role in the game than normal. There will be quite a few check downs to the RB's though, so if you are in a PPR league, MB3 could make up for the fact that he will NOT reach the end zone this weekend, but otherwise, I would have to play the darkhorse and go with Ward.- The Guru
9/19/2007 1:11:46 PM
i should also mention i have ahman green waiting in the wings, should I need him. i had a feeling towards ward for this week, given mb3 plays the bears and is splitting time. i'm just having a hard time deciding who i'm going to pair up with portis. i also have questions surrounding my WRs, but I'll let those ride this week. Still trying to figure everything out. The third place team in my league won last week, and has 147 points overall. I've got 201 in sixth. All about matchups I guess. Didn't help Jacobs went down in week 1
9/19/2007 1:35:55 PM
Brian Westbrook is going to have an MRI on his knee today. Owners of Westy, if you don't have Buckhalter on your roster yet, now is the time to do so.It's not catastrophic news at this point, but MRI's after week 2 are never a good sign for the 14 weeks to come.Westy is incredibly talented, but his injury concerns make him a headache that I am thrilled to not have to deal with this year.Just an FYI for those in bigger leagues.
9/19/2007 1:40:54 PM
Realized in Week 5 I had 2 of my 3 QB's on BYE, so I picked up Leftwich in hopes of him moving into the starting role by then against Tenn. haha.
9/19/2007 4:28:46 PM
Andre Johnson is officially OUT for Week 3
9/19/2007 4:57:04 PM
why couldnt he get hurt a week earlier
9/19/2007 5:33:05 PM
when i was at the panthers texans game the other day and he scored 2 TDs, i was thinking "all right andre thats plenty"...and at the time it was 14-14...but yeah
9/19/2007 5:33:59 PM
Awesome... he was the other teams #1 WR that I am playing this week. Looks like I'll win.
9/19/2007 6:20:55 PM
