And now just how are we supposed to take you seriously when you go and say crazy things like that?

Thanks Mr. Bush for stealing 12.5% (50% of the 25% tax bracket) of my paycheck to help fund your foreign wars of neo-imperialism, fend of foreign enemies created by the US's aggressive foreign policy, and to spy on the american people.I wonder how much better off this country would be if our defense budget was half of that with this money either A. used to lower taxesorB. Fund existing domestic programs meant to benefit our society.[Edited on January 3, 2008 at 9:43 PM. Reason : l]
1/3/2008 9:42:24 PM
Right, because taxes are so much higher under Bush than they were before
1/3/2008 9:44:21 PM
Well, the deficit surely is.But we'll neeeeeeever have to worry about paying on that. (Ever!)
1/3/2008 9:47:30 PM
We just waste it on a bunch more bullshit that we'll have to be paid back at some point. As the old adage goes "Money does not grow on trees"

Paul comes in with 10% in Iowa (about 90% of votes counted at time of posting)... It'll be interesting to see how he performs in NH. Might surprise quite a few pundits, but it's also one of the only places with enough libertarians and independents to really give him much ground.
1/4/2008 12:33:27 AM
I don't think Huckabee will be as strong in NH...They're not as afraid of Chuck Norris there.
1/4/2008 1:12:53 AM
pad so i can continue to lurk without being annoyedand wasn't he polling at about 4% in Iowa before the caucus? If so, 10% can only be considered a small victory.

1/4/2008 7:57:27 AM
He gets the percentage I thought he'd get, but I thought he would take 4th as Thompson would do worse than he did.
1/4/2008 9:15:04 AM
10% in Iowa, not bad.
