Andrew WhiteThis kid sounds pretty intelligent. I definitely wouldn't mind him coming to State.
5/31/2011 5:03:59 PM
that is far and away the most mature interview i've ever seen in one of these things.
5/31/2011 5:22:36 PM
Derrick Rose can only hope to ever be that articulate
5/31/2011 5:24:50 PM
me put ball in circle
5/31/2011 6:39:37 PM
Bet he could read the fuck out of some chicken little.
6/1/2011 12:32:32 AM
good write-up on Lewis in the N&O
6/1/2011 9:09:15 AM
I don't know if Wake ever considered him or vice versa, but I still think it's a pretty amazing feat to get a kid out of Forsyth Country Day with Craig Dawson coaching his team.
6/1/2011 9:27:21 AM
I cannot wait for him to get here, from everything I've heard about him he has the intensity that has been missing from our team.
6/1/2011 9:28:14 AM
6/1/2011 9:57:07 AM
the question: can you double team his will?
6/1/2011 10:03:51 AM
The return of the WILL
6/1/2011 10:56:04 AM
white people got mad will.in other news, torian graham is apparently having (minor?) knee surgery this week that will keep him down for the next 3-4 weeks
6/1/2011 11:00:15 AM
FACT: Guys named Tyler have immeasurable will

^^lolsuper excited about Lewis. from everything I've read, guys love playing with him as well. could help recruiting down the line.[Edited on June 1, 2011 at 11:09 AM. Reason : ]
6/1/2011 11:09:04 AM
it's probably smart for Graham to go ahead and get surgery now so that he can have time to recover and have a chance at playing during the July AAU circuit
6/1/2011 11:16:09 AM
So we should expect fierce determination from tyler harris and tyler brosius, especially brosius.
6/1/2011 11:28:05 AM
I hope Graham's knee problem is temporary. Maybe we should just go ahead and invest in a Bacta Tank and avoid anymore knee-related ncss.
6/1/2011 12:02:43 PM
I think he tweeted he just needed to rest it for a month.
6/1/2011 12:05:22 PM
I was hoping BeeJay Anya was going to be an Indian kid. http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/recruiting/player/_/id/104880/beejay-anyaWhen's the last time we actually got a player from DeMatha? We've been tailing a lot of recruits at that school since I started following this stuff. Herb had some on his radar and Sid was an alum but still it seems like we always come up short in regards to that school.]

More Andrew WhiteI would really like to see Coach Gott give this kid a chance
6/1/2011 12:31:16 PM
solid mid range and spot up shooter.uses that arm bar quite a bit when driving...but nice, i like the motion.
6/1/2011 12:45:56 PM
^The interview above sounded like he thinks we're going to be stacked at the guard spot (which we will certain pieces fall into place) and might be looking at other schools that will offer a better chance at PT.Either way...looks like a solid player and a good kid from the interview.
6/1/2011 12:45:58 PM
6/1/2011 1:14:50 PM
I would rather have a smart, mature 3-4 star guard than a 1 and done thug...
6/1/2011 1:22:10 PM
because all one and done players are thugs ]
6/1/2011 1:27:27 PM
didn't wanna make a new thread but shaka smart is gonna be on David Glenn Show at 2pm. sure glenn will ask him about ncsu offer
6/1/2011 1:42:25 PM
6/1/2011 2:56:06 PM
so you're saying star-power is ineversely proportional to intelligence? that potential 1&doners are more likely to be thugs than 3 or 4 *s?
6/1/2011 3:05:05 PM
I do believe there is a direct relationship to intelligence. From what I've seen, most (not all) star players are usually not the most academically gifted athletes. A lot of the premier players grow up doing nothing but playing basketball first and going to school second.[Edited on June 1, 2011 at 3:09 PM. Reason : .]
