Yeah, I believe it. Hell, Harrow even said on facebook/twitter "I'm not gonna let one man take away the game I love"(or something to that effect..).And yes, I have "heard" that as soon as he wasn't the starter day 1 he and his "support system" fell out of love w/ Lowe pretty quickly. He also felt he wasn't able to run the offense like he was promised. And from everyone I've heard it from, I'd believe them over a kid like Harrow being PC on a radio show.

^^ That Wake Forest game may have been the happiest time of the season....
5/27/2011 11:03:14 AM
Harrow's biggest problem is that he's convinced that he's absolutely NBA material. I remember right after he signed he said something to the effect of "when I'm in the NBA in two years..." He really, really wants to be a star NBA player and he figured Lowe would get him hooked up quick like Hickson. I don't think he was counting on how big a leap he had to make. Not surprised at all that he bailed to go to Kentucky.Who would've thought that CJL would be the one with more realistic NBA aspirations

Who would have thought CJL would be in wolfpack gear and Harrow in KY Blue during the same calendar year.
5/27/2011 11:41:00 AM
^^ LOL, that's how you can tell someone who doesn't watch State much. And if I remember, the game was a lot closer than the final score. I want to say it wasn't until late that we really broke it open. The second game was start to finish domination though.

I don't see why people think he would've stayed even if Lowe was still here. He sat out the game against UNC in Chapel Hill and apparently pissed off a lot of people who didn't think he was actually sick. There were rumors of team mates questioning his work ethic all year long and he looked like he didn't care anymore far before Lowe was fired.
5/27/2011 12:32:16 PM
By nearly every metric Wake was a worse team at that time than Elon. Would anyone care that we beat up on Elon?
5/27/2011 12:40:36 PM
well, it'd be better than barely beating them. or getting beat by them.any recruiting news?
5/27/2011 12:42:12 PM
Its more the name value than the skill level. Beating Penn State in football would be a bigger deal than beating Utah, no matter their ranking at the time.

a dunk is only worth two points

I'm gonna start making youtube highlight videos set to Stryper or some shit

That video of Purvis would've been more impressive if he'd putback his own horribly-missed dunk in the beginning.

Tyler's team plays TJ Warren's team tonight. If there is any game for State fans to go to it would be that one.

Lewis dropped 47. He really showed up. And he did it from everywhere on the floor, including 16/18 from the line.

Tyler Harris led scoring at the Mary Kline Classic with 22 points.

Am I the only one that thinks Torian Graham appears to have an unorthodox shooting motion? As long as the shots keep falling I couldn't care less. It just seemed odd to me.
5/29/2011 1:20:16 PM
it's a because it gets my hopes up, which judging by past experience probably means he will go to UNC and become national player of the year 4 years in a row.
