I want some cute skirts for work but so far haven't found anything I like or anything in my price range. Anyone have suggestions where to find cute skirts in the $15-30 range?
8/1/2011 12:03:27 PM
Targetfall lines are out everywhere
8/1/2011 12:06:36 PM
8/1/2011 12:08:53 PM
Yeah I looked at Target last night and they didn't have much. But then again the Target I went to half of the women's section had been taken over my futons and other back-to-school crap
8/1/2011 12:09:13 PM
i guess i am more worried about the crazies who will try to wear a 3 size too small one and get injured because of it, just like all these teenage girls wearing them under team sport uniforms.
8/1/2011 12:11:25 PM
yeah I love compression shorts when I play softball...don't like the jiggle lol
8/1/2011 12:12:02 PM
Oh yeah, there's definitely a time limit on how long you should wear them. And you still have to buy the right size for your body. Nothing like a Spanx-induced muffin top. That's a sign you went WAY too small. Also, I think some folks double- and triple-bag-it with Spanx ... which docs say can cause nerve damage.

regarding the birth control - does that mean that it's going to be free after August 2012?
8/1/2011 12:39:56 PM
lord I hope so
8/1/2011 12:43:13 PM
I always forget about Gap for some god unknown reason. I'll check them out this weekend. It's been months since I've been to the mall anyway
8/1/2011 12:43:19 PM
i'm honestly not 100% sure, but that'd definitely be nice (free birth control that is)and i also wonder if it covers all forms (ie, the pill, nuva ring, a shot, etc)and shit - condoms should be free too
8/1/2011 12:44:50 PM
^yes they should!

8/1/2011 12:52:28 PM
Do you ladies mind some hair on your man's feet and toes?
8/1/2011 1:39:54 PM
hair on the feet?wtf are you? a cave man?
8/1/2011 1:40:20 PM
hey homegirl, skirts are like the easiest sewing project there is. I'm gonna make one after i finish my dress, dammit. only got about 30 mins left of work on that[Edited on August 1, 2011 at 1:41 PM. Reason : pretty sure most guys have hair on the feet, plenty of chicks too don't play games diva]
8/1/2011 1:41:16 PM
I'd rather have a guy with hair on his toes (not a hobbit) than a full back of fur
8/1/2011 1:42:52 PM

Green Jay can't take a joke-ayTrue that Minka
8/1/2011 1:57:15 PM
^^
8/1/2011 1:59:24 PM
I know a few men with hobbity feet thats kind of excessive.. But I normally don't have any issue with hair on feet/toes. Especially since I have dark hair myself. Periodically I will shave my toes but only if I remember to.
8/1/2011 2:02:20 PM
when are they going to come out with a topical ointment that permanently kills hair follicles??
8/1/2011 2:06:31 PM
Seriously.I don't mind shaving the usual suspects, but any dark or excess fuzz on the chin/neck area pisses me off. I wax it, but I'd rather just kill it.
8/1/2011 3:24:31 PM
one year it will get popular for guys to use it everywhere and they'll all be hairless forever hahaha
8/1/2011 3:26:46 PM
I'd be a little scared if a topical ointment permanently killed hair growth. Seems like that could be used for evil all too easily.
8/1/2011 3:29:15 PM
i'd be down with having to go to the doctor's office to have it applied. not saying they should sell it at walmart
8/1/2011 3:29:57 PM
Yeah, but then wouldn't it be the same as lasering that shit off?
8/1/2011 3:30:30 PM
do you guys remember that student that died back in the day. she was trying to get laser treatment and used a cream before hand or something? its been a long long time but a topical cream would scare me a bit. seems to easy.
8/1/2011 3:30:39 PM
^she also wrapped her legs in saran wrap
8/1/2011 3:32:30 PM
I mean have you ever used Nair? This doesn't scare me
8/1/2011 3:33:10 PM
It was the cream that is used to numb the area beforehand. She had an allergic reaction. Allergic reactions can happen to anyone with anything.
8/1/2011 3:33:12 PM
nair will burn 3 layers off your skin if you leave it too long and they put it on the bottom shelf at the drug store where babies can get it
8/1/2011 3:42:38 PM
Nair and I do not have a pleasant history.
8/1/2011 3:46:07 PM
Well, you have to keep using Nair. Might as well wax.
8/1/2011 3:53:31 PM
These are kinda awesome:http://www.finefeatherheads.com/
8/2/2011 8:47:44 PM
GoldenGirl has some I think.
8/2/2011 9:25:17 PM
Oh girl, you know I got that George Foreman with the nice red lid.
8/2/2011 9:27:02 PM
Funny this thread just got around to Nair/waxing/etc. Just bought my first at-home waxing kit today for my legs. Super nervous! Waiting a few more days for the hair to grow out before I can use it. I am very anxious to see the results!
8/2/2011 9:37:55 PM
^I bought a set yesterday for my underarms! I never liked Nair, because it would really irritate my skin, but I figure waxing can't be all bad?? I'd rather not have to shave every day on the cruise!
8/2/2011 9:38:41 PM
Same idea for me...I'm going to Disneyworld (finally) this Saturday for about a week and would love to have to avoid shaving every day on vacation!
8/2/2011 9:39:43 PM
wasn't the cream just like a topical anesthetic? like lidocaine? i have burn cream with lidocaine in it. i remember after that happened i was sunburned and i was like "oh shit i'm going to die if i use this ER burn cream they gave me"butthen i realized i was overreacting and basically anything could kill me on a daily basis if i have a reaction to iti use these wax strips for my eyebrows and stuffs that i get at target. i usually buy nads or there is some other french sounding brand. they are strips and you apply them and rip it off. i usually cut the eyebrow ones into tiny strips because they are really big and scary mistakes can happen.i want to try the heat up wax for underarms etcis that what you guys bought? the legit heat up put it on with a popsicle stick kind? what is the brand?
