TT takes as much pride in the Heat losing as Jiggles does with SEC football. Neither had a dog in the fight, but they felt important.[Edited on June 16, 2014 at 10:30 AM. Reason : hurry up football]

Nothing, it's just amusing that you've seemingly have taken some special pride in them losing as if it was personal for you.

On top of never liking the franchise, it's nice to see their efforts of buying another title fail. It's nice to see a Team beat a collection of players. Probably similar to people who prefer the Yankees not win the world series.^are there no local pro sports teams where you live or are from? [Edited on June 16, 2014 at 10:47 AM. Reason : . ]

The Heat pretty much emptied their entire roster, signed 3 guys to max contracts, and put some cheap pieces around them. It worked twice. But team basketball won it all this year. And I assume you're just playing devil's advocate, and not equating a team signing a free agent like Jefferson, with what Miami did with LBJ/Wade/Bosh.Unless you think the remote possibility of a team with a starting lineup of say Chalmers/Wade/Lebron/Carmelo/Bosh is a good thing[Edited on June 16, 2014 at 2:35 PM. did i say anything factually incorrect or out of line, oh great Lebron defender?i mean there were only 3 other teams in the East with > .500 records this year. Who is the best team the Heat have had to face on their way to the Finals in the Big 3 era, an old Celtics team one year?[Edited on June 16, 2014 at 3:44 PM. Reason : .]
6/16/2014 3:41:34 PM
he doesn't need me to defend him, its just absurd to point out his Finals record as if that's some sort of barometer of how good he is. last I checked he wasn't the GM who put that team together or a witch doctor who could make his teammates become younger when needed
6/16/2014 3:47:08 PM
He was however the one who promised 7+ championships in Miami. So far they're 2-2 in the finals.
6/16/2014 3:53:42 PM
^^maybe he's not the invincible, god-like figure people thoughta lot of people assumed the Heat 3peat was a lock. He played OK, but a true diety would be able to elevate his supporting cast a bit more. Perhaps this dose of humility is what he needed most. [Edited on June 16, 2014 at 3:55 PM. Reason : .]

so what?they've been to the Finals all 4 years he's been there and lost to the better team each time. is there shame in losing to a better team?[Edited on June 16, 2014 at 3:57 PM. Reason : cool, here come the #HotSportsTakes. keep em comin, fellas]
6/16/2014 3:56:09 PM
oh look, a King James apologist!
6/16/2014 3:58:17 PM
You (you = Lebron apologists) can't have it both ways though. You can't tout him as being one of the greatest ever, then just act like it's ok that the better team won and not give him any blame. Although I will certainly say that it's not his fault that they lost. Wade fell apart and Bosh has always been soft. The supporting cast is a joke, and didn't hit some miracle 3 pointers like they did the last 2 seasons. And the Heat didn't just lose, they got destroyed. 1-1 tie then 3 straight ass whoopings. Jordan is 6-0 in the Finals. Yet people want to act like Lebron is on his level? Not even close.]
6/16/2014 4:07:35 PM
Sure he is. But I'm glad Duncan got another one.
6/16/2014 4:08:27 PM
some people like to act like Jordan never lost a series in his career or that he didn't play with a Top-50 All-Time great playerand you can't laud the Spurs for playing beautiful team basketball and then turn around and get mad that Lebron wasn't able to play the same way. flip the benches and you'd be lauding the Heat for playing true team basketball. none of that falls on Lebrons shoulders
6/16/2014 4:37:29 PM
Lebron doesn't have the killer instinct that Jordan had. That's not a buzzword or something that factors into WP48 but it's what makes him pass first when he needs to take over a game. I mean the motherfucker is scared to enter the dunk contest. And guys like Duncan, Parker and Ginobli all took less than they would've made on the free market in their last contracts. The Heat can't possibly have as good a bench as the Spurs when they orchestrate having 3 max contract players. You can't complain about lack of bench depth when your team's MO is to fill the remaining roster spots with cheap scrubs because you're putting all your money into 3 players.[Edited on June 16, 2014 at 4:43 PM. Reason : .]
6/16/2014 4:41:50 PM
Lebron is more of a dog and pony show than Jordan ever was. I'm not a huge Jordan fan, but he has a much higher basketball IQ and greater overall intelligence. LeBron's a great player, but let's quit pretending how smart he is. Jordan made way more money as a businessman than a player, and LeBron is too much of a camera hog and showboat to ever get this.^100% agree. [Edited on June 16, 2014 at 5:00 PM. Reason : TT urite]

Not going to waste my time reading that crap. People were saying Lebron was better than Jordan last season and now those same people are like "whoops, NM!"
6/16/2014 5:01:22 PM
^^They have their own bias of wanting a non-UNC player to get crowned as the bestAnd sure, Lebron IS bigger, stronger and (perhaps) faster than Jordan. But LBJ doesn't have the want-to that Jordan or even Kobe do/did. Julius Peppers and Mario Williams are taller, probably as strong and much faster than Reggie White but that doesn't mean they have the determination of that Tennessee Volunteer fucke.
6/16/2014 6:27:51 PM
If only he had half of Hansbrough's will!
6/16/2014 7:27:08 PM
It would be cool if they had a 1-on-1 exhibition type games during the NBA All Star Weekend stuff. Take the top candidates for league MVP and have them go at it. Too bad LBJ would be scared to play-and for good reason.

After ppl realize he can't be another Michael Jordan, he's not that important already.[Edited on June 24, 2014 at 10:27 AM. Reason : Lakers could buy him and melo together.]
6/24/2014 10:25:53 AM
I say best fit for him would be Clippers. They ship out Blake and have CP3, Deandre Jordan and LeBron. Solid core. Or put him on Golden State with those shooters.
6/24/2014 10:27:53 AM
Maybe Houston if he wants another ring. Or come to Charlotte man, work for MJ![Edited on June 24, 2014 at 10:39 AM. Reason : decision 2.0]

as long as he stays in the East he's pretty much got a free ride to the finals

Pat Riley is sending goons to Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh's houses to make sure they opt out.
6/24/2014 12:07:16 PM
^^Whatever. The East sucked this year, and has been pretty down the last couple years.I don't see LeBron going to Washington either. Because, more Jordan comparisons.
6/24/2014 12:09:49 PM
I think his best choice is staying in Miami and persuading melo to join them.
6/24/2014 12:22:09 PM
6/24/2014 1:51:11 PM
6/24/2014 4:43:38 PM
I don't think he will go to West, b/c staying East is still much easier to get to the finals. So Phily is the only option. Hornet fans lose hope now.[Edited on June 24, 2014 at 5:19 PM. Reason : I find I have potential to be a NBA reporter]
6/24/2014 5:13:24 PM
If you think the same guy who joined forces with wade and bosh to create a super team in Miami is going to the sixers, you are high. That was a list of the teams who have the cap space now. Just about every team in the league could (and would) make the room for Lebron if they thought they could get him. If he leaves Miami, the trick will be making the room to pay him and keep a good team around him.
6/24/2014 6:00:38 PM
So the move Lebron made this morning makes the whole league busy.
6/24/2014 6:02:38 PM
Does Lebron need the money? I'm sure he's racking up so much in endorsement deals that he can handle a pay cut if he's really in the mood to win a championship.
