Moose was probably my favorite player in 2010. But after all the shenanigans with him, and then the potential Creecy showed last year, AND seeing this pic:..I ain't even mad no mo.

Our oline is pretty weak and our run game has been dismal under TOB. We need Mustafa Greene badly, don't kid yourself. He is a YAC machine and we don't open many holes.
7/31/2012 8:15:06 PM
You can do better than that.
7/31/2012 8:39:58 PM
Well i know it's obvious to most that we need Mustafa, but someone else thought otherwise.
7/31/2012 9:09:22 PM
Almost there. Football threads just aren't your thing. Focus more on your work in Basketball. We all enjoy the effort.

Considering we couldn't run the ball at all the last two years unless it was mustafa, I'd say he's pretty important. This isn't the NFL, running backs are important in college. The last thing we want is to have to pass on every play. We already saw how Glennon fared against constant pass rush last year. He's a sack taking queen sometimes and people constantly got a hand on his balls. For the first half of the year he was also a check down princess which killed us in games like wake forest. We need Glennon to be comfortable in the pocket and build on how he finished the season if we want to be competitive this year. We need Moose for that obviously.

alright, alright, I'll bite:

I don't believe these videos were ever posted.Interviews with Tom O'Brien at the ACC Football Kickoff and another preview interview.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zWK8nUAwpY0LOL at his comments regarding Earl Wolffhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mfyHIPVimqoAlso, it doesn't sound like we need to worry too much about Mustafa as long as he doesn't have any setbacks with his injury.[Edited on August 1, 2012 at 12:09 PM. i'll bite, knowing that you don't actually watch the games.
8/1/2012 12:09:33 PM
I watch the games. They are usually on Saturdays.Moose is awesome. Our line is terrible at run blocking. I know they're really experienced , but its mostly bad experience. Maybe they break out this year, but we were hoping for that last year too.
8/1/2012 12:15:13 PM
Face is right about Greene. He is stud and we need him in order to have a good run game and help take pressure off Glennon.
8/1/2012 12:40:16 PM
i'm just saying, we had a pretty good run last year, and glennon had a pretty good season without greene last year. that's all i'm saying. i really hope greene makes the team.
8/1/2012 12:42:06 PM
Glennon had a good second half of the season. He was pretty rough the first half when he wouldn't throw the ball downfield and took way too many sacks. We will need a running game to be competitive. We've got FSU and Clemson in our division.
8/1/2012 12:46:26 PM
I agree with face about the O-line. They were supposed to be good last year too, but greatly underachieved. I think Wentz, Mattes, and Allen are all solid. We lose Overgaard and replace him full-time with 5-star HS all-American Crisp. We replace Christophe with former starter Wallace back from injury.I'm hopeful for improvement, but feel doubtful about it.
8/1/2012 1:04:12 PM
I agree with face too...
8/1/2012 2:38:46 PM
I agree with face about the need for our o-line to improve. I also agree with face that we need a running game, too. Good observations! I also think our defense needs to be good too. Do you agree?[Edited on August 1, 2012 at 2:46 PM. Reason : ]
