^^ Right-click the game and do 'Repair Install' Its really quick and it worked for me.

The console version is so shitty, right up there with crysis 2 for potential great shooters ruined by console limitations. Also frostbite 2 is garbage.

I did and don't really regret it. Close quarters is close enough to COD that I don't feel a need to buy COD anymore. And the new map pack, Armored Kill, is pretty awesome with all the vehicles and huge maps.

I wish I had waited. I saw about 2 weeks ago that Green Man Gaming had a discount on Premium subscriptions for $30.

I did finally get everything downloaded and patched last night for the Armored Kill expansion. I'm a bit disappointed that there aren't any new weapons or perks.

yeah, saw it on there site, but even 30 bucks, I'm not willing to pay just to play one DLC that I really only want out of the new 4. The last two DLC's coming out later don't really hit my fancy either. If EA sold the DLC for $5, I'd buy AK right now, but I'm gonna have to wait a while till that happens.

What are the upcoming expansions?

I finally got to play about an hour of Armored Kill maps yesterday, and I can say that I definitely love the Stryker. I rolled straight into an enemy camp and managed to take a mobile artillery, AA, and a tank all by surprise before being destroyed.

I heard one will be Co-op maps, not sure on the final DLC.

I wish they'd just release more balanced maps. Like more vanilla BF3 style maps where there is a good balance between infantry and vehicular combat.

After breaking my Cyborg X flight stick (not deliberately), I decided I'd try another manufacturer while I wait for MadCatz to replace mine under warranty. I went with the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro since it was the only thing which I could find locally. Unexpectedly, I feel like my jet flying skills have increased by at least 50% since using a different stick. I'm not an outstanding pilot by any means, but I can fly SO much better with this new joystick than my last. I think it has a lot to do with the increased tension in the stick, smaller deadzone, and all-around more responsive buttons.

I blew out my computer and reinstalled everything a few months ago soon after I had gotten BF3. I barely played it any before I did. I got a game this week for the kids that uses my EA/Origin account (Gatling Gears) and noticed my username was changed. So I went and checked out my account and found that my Origin account got hacked. The hacker did not change my password or email, but he did put in a security question in Russian. Logging into Battlelog shows that my BF3 has been played for almost 12 hours and was played as recently as 24 hours ago. The first CSR on chat was a piece of shit and very unhelpful, but the second one was much better. They still were unable to do anything about changing that Security Question, so it has been escalated, and I should hopefully hear something in 5-6 days. Fucking bullshit.

I was able to change my password, but I noticed this guy was back on BF3 about 3 hours ago continuing to play on my account. I was able to change everything but the damn Security Question.
