did this shit come on this week???? my fucking DVR didn't record it or "Hell on Wheels" after it

yet another damn episode dedicated to the search for Sophia. enough is enough already, holy hell. glad to have seen more zombies getting taken out though. also i had a good feeling the barn zombies were family and friends that Hershel couldn't be brought to put down, hence why they are keeping them alive and even going so far as to be feeding them. i guess with the mid-season's finale next week we'll see how this all wraps up.
11/21/2011 7:53:53 AM
i wouldn't say this episode was dedicated to the search. there was actually very little of that. it was more about the pregnancy, andrea & shooting, & the walkers in the barn.and i REALLY like this show. i like the focus on the characters & their behavior in such horrible situation. i don't understand why people watch something if all they're going to do is complain about it. don't put yourselves through such misery.[Edited on November 21, 2011 at 8:34 AM. I'm liking how the characters are evolving/realizing things about themselves (e.g. Andrea, Rick, Shane, Glen, and even Lori). I miss the constant threat of walkers, but even in the comic the focus tends to be on the moral/ethical choices of the characters in gray areas.
11/21/2011 8:44:25 AM
What did I miss at the beginning of the episode where they got a lead on where Sophia was? How did they randomly come across a neighborhood and why did they think Sophia could be there? Or was it just an excuse to get that badass Hyundai out on the open road? Also, Sophia is probably extremely dumb but why would she hide out in an abandoned house with multiple rotting dead bodies?I also loved how Andrea was the biggest n00b shot in the world but with Shane's instruction (for a few hours, at most) and a stare down in the heat of the moment, instantly became a crack shot and was just picking off walkers left and right.A+ for the entire morning after pill scene where she wrestled over the decision to take them (all 100 of them) and then instantly decided to sprint 50 yards away and throw them up. Moving television.

the episode started out with them planning new places to search for Sophia, Andrea and Shane were out searching for her in a neighborhood from a "lead". ok, the whole episode wasnt dedicated to the search for Sophia but it was still a major focus point once again.

that was a hot OTPHJ

the scene where lori and rick debate whether or not to teach carl to shoot was stupid. there are zombies everywhere and the kid isn't really big enough to kill one with a machete/blunt object. how the hell else would he defend himself if not with a gun? i feel like knowing how to shoot and being able to defend yourself is even more important given the overall stupidity/indeptitude of the group.
11/21/2011 10:06:05 AM
lori is an idiot. actually the only one that seems to not be an idiot is daryl.
11/21/2011 10:10:52 AM
Glen's pretty resourceful/quick-thinking, but they've balanced that with sheer inability to deal with women.
11/21/2011 10:35:18 AM
That sex scene with him and Herschel's daughter an episode or two back was so awful. You know he popped when she took her shirt off. No way they actually did the deed right there like that.
11/21/2011 11:04:46 AM
LOL
11/21/2011 11:25:52 AM
wonder if that daryl-andrea conversation was a bit of foreshadowing
11/21/2011 12:53:52 PM
Thought that too. Hope not because they'd kill off Daryl before Andrea ha

It's like TA McLendon. You knew he could be really good, so everyone bitched when he wasn't.

this was a really freaking good episode (had to download it)... you people who are all "omfg all they are doing is searching for that little girl" have got to be trolling at this point.
11/21/2011 6:14:38 PM
"really freaking good"no YOU have to be trolling. You don't have to hate it but man thats some low standards if that's how you describe that episode

damn, this last episode was 100x better than the previous craptastic ones. A much better character development and drama like it should have been, but still a few things seems too forced and others just don't make any sense. Still seems too slow of a storyline progression overall and 80% was pretty uninteresting and boring.
11/21/2011 8:53:42 PM
^this, but also, the show is getting Jersey Shore stupid for me, so I love it either way

For those wondering where he got that Hyundai from...didn't it show him fixing it up and getting it running in the first or second episode of the season?
11/22/2011 12:02:34 AM
Yeah in the second ep. they show him getting it running. It was one of the cars on the highway.
11/22/2011 12:07:49 AM
My favorite character this episode was the Hyundai. It was dependable, didn't make any stupid decisions, and didn't blabber on pointlessly. I hope Daryl and the Hyundai run off together.
11/22/2011 12:40:48 AM
how does Dale figure out every time people have sex
11/22/2011 12:52:44 AM
This show is not a very satisfying investment of time
11/22/2011 1:24:44 AM
Dale is an old man who has nothing better to do than figure out whose been sexxin.I just like how everyone puts their problems on glenn and glenn saying he can't hold a secret... plz. If we asian people can hold the secret of gun powder for centuries, I think he can bite his tongue to not say ppl are prego's and shit. Just bad acting on glenn's part too.I too like product placement but... could they pick anything uglier than puke green? Also, I still dont see why they couldn't just steal some better cars on the highway? I'm sure that old ass bronco they driving ain't too good on gas...

I'm enjoying this show, last season there were 2, maybe 3, people who I liked, this season the writers have made everyone except for Andrea, Sophia, Sophia's mom and old shaky mouth Dale likeable characters.I actually really like Shane's character at this point
