TWW could run the Bobcats better than they currently are run.....For serious. We would have probably still taken Felton, taking Danny Granger over May, and got Brandon Roy in here somehow with a hooker or something over Adam fucking Morrison. This year they could have the Center they have been looking for years and they pass him up.....I give up.

Now that I think about it, Weaver might be the defensive guard they were wanting out of this draft.[Edited on June 26, 2008 at 11:18 PM. Reason : .]

Isn't the plan to make Felton a 2???? Brown will not go in with a rookie starting, he just won't. Brown never plays rookies hardly at all.
6/26/2008 11:17:47 PM
No way Felton is ever a 2.
6/26/2008 11:21:01 PM
I don't think so either because even after these few years he still can't shoot the NBA three. So what exactly is our front office doing????
6/26/2008 11:35:50 PM
I'm pretty sure we won't bring back Derek Anderson or Boykins, so that leaves Felton as the only pg on the roster before tonight. So now you have a Felton/Augustin with Weaver being the defensive specialist/team first kind of guy.Who knows, thats all I can think of.

From Jordan:(On how this impacts negotiations with Raymond Felton)We didn’t have another point guard last year and obviously we felt like we needed to shore up another point guard because Raymond can play two positions for us. We anticipate signing Raymond. We’re not going in with the idea that we’re not going to keep Raymond.

Let's take Kyle Weaver while CDR is still on the board! Idiots.

Really need to resign Okafor, but this seems a bit much doesn't it?
7/1/2008 10:45:27 AM
Okafor is solid but he's just so hard to root forWhen you sit close to the floor and watch him closely, he just plays like such a pussy sometimesHe also is allergic to dunking, so he does a cuntish lay up that gets blocked 40 percent of the time13 million ? No thanksMaybe 10-11
7/1/2008 11:20:50 AM
he's a very good low post defender but thats about all he brings to the tabledoesnt dunk enough for his strength, shitty FT shooter, weak low post offensegreat defender but not even in the class of Dwight Howard, Bosh, etc

Can someone please explain what the deal is with Ryan Hollins? I follow the PAC 10 very closely and he looked damn athletic for a 7 footer in the 05 and 06 tourney. He's only been playing like 8 minutes/game.
7/2/2008 10:53:53 AM
he can't shoot or do anything else really except swat the occasional shot. he's athletic, but his coordination seems to be pretty bad. he has bulked up, which is a plus, but i wouldn't expect anymore than 10 minutes a game this year backing up Okafor (assuming he's back) and Nazr. he'll probably stay on the team until french guy is ready to contribute.[Edited on July 2, 2008 at 11:58 AM. That's 18 players, meaning about half of them will never see the floor. Are we going to have more than one team?? If not, it'll still be a fun team to watch with Augustin running the show. Also, I like the Gueillermo Diaz addition -- I had completely forgotten about that guy.

ajinca 1-7and i assume he takes all his shots from 2-6 feet out
7/12/2008 9:30:31 PM
Actually 3-4 of those shots were free throw line extended, with 2 of those just rimming out. He did have a pretty big dunk off of a missed free throw though. Runs the floor very well for his size as well.Augustin looked awesome, consistently getting into the lane for layups or dishing off for wide open jumpers (which didn't go in tonight).[Edited on July 12, 2008 at 10:00 PM. i think even the most optimistic people assume that ajinca is at least a 1 year project, so i wouldnt expect too much from his first summer league game. i mean, dudley shot 1-6 and he was one of the bobcats best players off the bench last year.that said, i watched most of the game on nba.com and thought he showed good movement and some decent moves. definitely didnt look like a complete stiff. we'll just have to be patient and see how he develops.

Donnell Harvey was a lottery pick a few years ago and now he can't even get off the bench in a summer league game. He needed to stay at Florida until his skills caught up with his body.

With the Clippers trading for Camby, I can see Okafor just accepting the $7 M qualifying offer, and becoming an unrestricted free agent next year.As far as the summer league, lost game #3 to the Warriors last night. Augustin had 30 pts, but didn't have any assists (this was mostly due to missed shots or the recipients of the dish getting fouled). Hines from UNCG had 14 pts.
