5/30/2008 3:09:28 PM

Google Transit now integrated with Mobile Gmaps, nice! Although RDU isn't in their transit system yet, it should be.http://googlemobile.blogspot.com/2008/06/get-bus-and-train-directions-on-go-with.html

6/6/2008 8:27:57 AM
thats some good stuff there. the starring system is much much better now, the take a break thing is rather useful, and the quick links is pretty useful as well.
6/6/2008 8:58:33 AM
yeah i'm using the quicklinks for a todo list. simpler than rememberthemilk and more helpful than the todo label i was using before
6/6/2008 10:13:14 AM

6/6/2008 1:23:03 PM
^ they actually lied, you have to hit "7", not (shift+7=&).
6/6/2008 1:30:34 PM
^ shift+7 works fine for me
6/6/2008 2:53:02 PM

6/8/2008 9:39:27 PM

Looks like google maps has a massive increase in streetviews. St louis, where I am living now, got on and looks like a bunch more on the east coast.
6/11/2008 12:04:25 PM
^Charlotte, Greensboro, Winston-Salem, Greenville (SC), Columbia (SC), Atlanta, Nashville, Knoxville, half of Florida ... and many many more.
6/11/2008 12:15:32 PM

6/11/2008 12:25:24 PM

Well fwiw, it WAS just introduced system-wide for Domain customers.... and I'm still hating the new favicon [Edited on June 25, 2008 at 9:56 PM. Reason : yuck]
6/25/2008 9:55:31 PM
they released Street View for France, but just for the Tour de France course for now. Pretty sweet though - looks like they drove the entire 2000+mi course and mapped it allhttp://www.google.fr/tourdefrance2008In other Google news, Google has been ordered by a judge to turn over "every record of every video watched by YouTube users, including users' names and IP addresses, to Viacomhopefully google will go to the mat to fight this one. This judge has clearly overstepped privacy boundshttp://blog.wired.com/27bstroke6/2008/07/judge-orders-yo.html
7/3/2008 1:09:30 PM
god damn. gotta assume google is going to appeal that decision.why in the world would viacom need the ip's of the users other than to have it to target those people later?
7/3/2008 2:43:39 PM
Gmail now has the ability to remotely logout open sessions of your Gmail account, also will show you a detail log of when your account was accessed and by what method.http://gmailblog.blogspot.com/2008/07/remote-sign-out-and-info-to-help-you.htmlVery nice security feature.
7/7/2008 6:43:01 PM
anybody else have it active on their account yet? not working on mine yet
7/7/2008 6:48:09 PM
Yea, it's actually working on my Domain account as well.
7/7/2008 6:50:47 PM
nice. i hope its history goes back at least a week. my gmail got hacked or something last week. it was weird, i had gmail open as usual and saw the whole thing happen. suddenly i had like 40+ bounced emails in my inbox and then a minute or so later they were gone (at least most of them). apparently it emailed everybody in my contacts some spam link.
