Been running iOS 10 beta for a few days on my 6s plus and despite a few crashes it's fairly stable

New lock screen is nice but can't use any of the new messages features unless the other person is running the beta too

Got an Iphone 5S 16 Gig. Dropped it and screen shattered but phone still works. Was time to get an upgrade anyway. So I am waiting on my SE in a few days.

Wanting advice on best way to get money back on the 5S. Should I just try and sell as is and get some cash from someone who can repair or wants to mess with it? Or should I spend the money to repair and then try and sell it? Would love to somehow just get $100 back out of the 5s to put toward the new one.

The phone before my Edge, I bought off of someone from Craigslist for 500, it was a Note 4. I got a deal on the Edge, but we paid about 800 for my wife's phone when she got it.

I think going forward I'm just going to take my lumps and continue to get the subsidized price and re-up for 2 years. Even though you get a discount with Verizon on your line if you own the phone, it still comes out cheaper to take the subsidy.

And besides, I'm never going to leave Verizon, no matter how much I dislike them. I hate ATT even worse, and Sprint's coverage isn't good enough.

Think about the impacts to whistle-blowing. ^Yep - I hate it. My phone connects to bluetooth/airplay in the car every time and then I can't hear notifications. Apparently there isn't a way to disable that and now it takes more effort to disconnect every time I get in the car.

Ugh my iphone is going to shit some sort of issue with the touchscreen I guess. It works fine at times and others its completely unresponsive and other times it just acts like someone is randomly pushing the screen opening up apps or typing jibberish. I have tried removing screen protector and case and factory resetting phone to no avail .

Apple store is constantly booked up over a week in advance as well so thats a big pain in the ass. Any suggestions on places that arent shady that might be able to take a look and has experience to know what the problem may be?

I went by there they said could be screen or could be the IC that controls the screen. Phone is paid off in Jan so may just see if they run any good deals over holidays and try to live with it till then. Some days it doesnt happen so its more of an annoyance at this point I suppose.

The lack of a headphone jack was a bad idea. If apple releases some amazing lightning headphones and i didn't have to carry around 2 headphones, one for phone one for laptop, then I would have been fine with it.

I just did a test between the headphones that came with the 5s using the adapter, and the ones that come with the 7, and the 5s with the adapter has substantially better audio quality, and significantly lower noise level than the lightning headphones.

I think i'll just put the 7 headphones in a drawer and keep the adapter permanently on the old headphones and hopefully when i need to use them with my computer, i won't lose the adapter.

My 18 mo old iPhone 6s is starting to fuck up on me.

1st issue a few weeks ago- during runs, my Runkeeper app (and another one I tried) would kill my phone.. after about 30 minutes. Would show a dead battery- after being above 50%.

So I deleted the running apps.

Now the screen suddenly dims (not dark, but "dimmer"). And the battery life SUCKS.... I work from home, so I'm not on it all the time.

can anyone recommend a charge+listen dongle? I bought the belkin thinking that it would be more reliable than a cheap one from amazon, but now when you are plugged in if you move it loses connection and vibrates which is annoying if you are watching a movie because it stops it from playing.
