Momma, there goes that man.
5/31/2011 11:34:02 PM
Heat look to be pulling away
5/31/2011 11:35:36 PM
ballgameif Terry had hit the 3 it wouldve been big but it looks like the Heat hold serve in game 1
5/31/2011 11:37:11 PM
Lebron can pay 100% aggressive all the time without worrying about ever being in foul trouble. Of course hes a great defender.
5/31/2011 11:38:10 PM
^^Not even a jinx attempt will keep Lebron from history.]
5/31/2011 11:39:04 PM
i didn't know lebron got calls. thanks for letting me know The E Man
5/31/2011 11:39:57 PM

Shaq retiring via twitter
6/1/2011 3:18:14 PM
All I can say isIts about timebut seriously, RIP... one of the top 5 big men ever, and the best in the last 20 years
6/1/2011 3:28:39 PM
6/1/2011 4:06:24 PM
Hakeem did half his damage in the 80's. Shaq was the dominant big man of the last two decades. And the next time you try to undermine me will be the last.
6/1/2011 4:12:40 PM
might as well claim Kobe as the best wing player in the last 20 years since Jordan did half of his damage in the 80s
6/1/2011 4:14:18 PM
Shaq had more 20-10 seasons than Wilt, Hakeem, or Kareem
6/1/2011 4:23:55 PM
Terrible measuring stick. Hakeem was probably 1A to Russell as the best defensive player of all time.
6/1/2011 4:29:03 PM
one of a handful of players to win DPOY 4 timesactually not Akeem won it twiceMutombo and Ben Wallace won it 4 times eachone of a handful of players to get a quadruple doublejesus christ, he got two quadruple doubles in the same fucking month[Edited on June 1, 2011 at 4:37 PM. Reason : .]

Wilt led the fucking league in assists one season (I believe the only non-guard to ever do so) when his teams finally got some talent on them and he didn't have to put up the insane 50/20 games
6/1/2011 4:47:49 PM
yeah, Wilt leading the league in assists is insane
6/1/2011 5:36:48 PM
Wilt's numbers are so fucked compared to everyone else's that its hard to take them seriously
6/1/2011 5:39:37 PM
6/1/2011 5:49:11 PM
hmm, that says he was one assist short but this says he got it http://nbahoopsonline.com/History/Records/quaddouble.html
6/1/2011 5:51:13 PM
looks like the Rockets fudged the 3/3/90 numbershttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk%3AQuadruple-double
6/1/2011 5:52:57 PM
i was gonna say basketball-reference.com would be the source i trust more than wiki or nbahoopsonline and they list his statline on March 3 as a quadruple double http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/o/olajuha01/gamelog/1990/but the comments you mentioned suggested some trickeryalthough if they really did look at the tape and he did have 10 assists, it should be a quadruple double imo
6/1/2011 5:55:52 PM

Upfront disclaimer. I'm a very casual basketball fan. I'll watch part of a game or two during the playoffs/NCAA tourney, that's about it.When it comes to 99.9 or any general talk about the NBA it seems like there's a lot of discussion now about player X, Y, or Z being better or worse than Lebron and how Lebron is inferior due to a lack of a championship ring (or rings). I have a hard time following that, since I figured getting a ring was more of a team accomplishment. Why don't people use league MVP awards or yearly/career averages in ppg, rebounds, etc. I just don't get why all the focus on rings as a means to judge an individual's performance.[/noob][Edited on June 2, 2011 at 9:59 PM. Mavericks sure are working on the boards tonight. This seems to be much more of their type of game compared to game 1.[Edited on June 2, 2011 at 10:02 PM. Reason : what foul you whining about wade?][Edited on June 2, 2011 at 10:03 PM. Reason : ^ completely agree with your sentiments]
