How about you faggots stop trying to psychoanalyze some guy you never met from behind the keyboard.I know it's hard for you losers to only have informed opinions, but Leslie happens to be our best player regardless of what dumbass opinion you have.
1/14/2012 8:44:52 PM
yea hes a bit brandon costner, hopefully gott can handle him better than lowe handled costner.

How about you faggots stop trying to psychoanalyze some guy you never met that's behind a keyboard.I know it's hard for you losers to only have informed opinions, but skokiaan happens to be TDub's best poster regardless of what dumbass opinion you have.

He is not our best player when he acts like he did today. In fact we were better without him today.
1/14/2012 9:29:25 PM
He prolly is our best player, but I get your point. We need him back badly.
1/15/2012 11:28:40 AM
skokian is a know it all douchebot. No one pays attention to what that clown says.
1/15/2012 11:39:52 AM
Except for you, of course
1/15/2012 11:52:43 AM
has anything surface about this on the twitter world?
1/15/2012 12:02:38 PM
Lo is our best overall player. But when Calvin has his head in the game we win. When's he's CJ we lose.
1/15/2012 12:05:30 PM
interesting hypothesis, except we beat wake forest when calvin/cj scored zero points

jesus fuck...gott needs to go norman dale on his ass. He needs to pass the ball four times before he can shoot.

Calvin needs a swagga coach that's allhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nXqwq6YQAks
1/26/2012 10:39:41 PM
how many fast breaks is he going to lose before he stops trying to dribble the length of the court?
1/26/2012 11:09:26 PM
He just forces WAY too much. Not an ego issue, just feels like too much of the game is on him. Hope the coaches can figure out a way work around it because he is the only player than can consistently get to the rim. (and fucking get blocked)
1/26/2012 11:22:39 PM
this kid is dumb
1/27/2012 7:50:27 AM
this kid played horrible
1/27/2012 8:01:18 AM
looks like this kid will be playing here next year.
1/27/2012 9:31:38 AM
Obviously he has his ups and downs, but last night he seemed like the only one that actually wanted the ball. It was like nobody wanted the ball after we got down big and at least Leslie was willing to take the ball and with it some a lot of the blame. Of course we can't have him forcing it, but it is better than mailing it in and checking out mentally like he has done in the past.
1/27/2012 9:46:24 AM
At the end of the game, he still probably thinks he can score on Henson in the post. Dumb.
1/27/2012 9:48:42 AM
yeah but to be fair he had 8 rebounds and i think 3 steals. Everyone else on the team had 1 rebound. And i agree at some point he was the only one who wanted the ball, even though he clearly wasn't able to get good shots against Henson.4-12 FG and 3-4 FT isn't THAT bad against Henson when you combine the rebounds and steals. We just need him to pick his spots better and be more like 3-7 FG and 3-4 FT and someone else needs to step up and score for us when CJL has a horrible matchup like that.[Edited on January 27, 2012 at 9:59 AM. CJ LESLIE was one of the few guys who actually showed up to play last night. I'm not gonna complain about him trying to take the team on his back and making some mistakes. Hell, if he didn't have the ball, brown would probably have just thrown it away or somebody would have put up a ridiculous shot.
1/27/2012 10:28:45 AM
I'd rather see the other 4 guys stay back and wait for defense while Calvin plays 1 v 5 than watch another Howell/Painter 18 footer.
1/27/2012 10:33:01 AM
I liked his jab step that he tried using on Henson.I liked his breakaway slam.He was pretty solid overall.
1/27/2012 12:39:07 PM
Banjo Man learned a new term from Dickie V last night!
1/27/2012 12:41:36 PM
I didn't listen to his commentary bro. And I know what the jab step is.
1/27/2012 12:47:34 PM
Yea, I still don't know why people are so hard on CJL including my dad. He has improved from last year and contributes a lot to the team. Maybe his body language is misunderstood but it isn't bad to me. CJL was in the game last night, Howell on the other hand. Stupid.
1/27/2012 1:24:56 PM
Eh, he just has stupid mental lapses sometimes. Two games in a row he dribbled the whole court and turned it over, leading to fast-breaks and points on the other end. Everybody but him seems to know what's going to happen when he takes off dribbling down the court.
1/27/2012 1:28:36 PM
Calvin did plenty of dumb stuff last night especially early in the second half. If you disagree you were't watching.

I guess what I don't like is people acting like they don't want him on our team because of those things. He brings more good than bad.

At least Calvin showed up last night. I just wish he had hit more of his free throws.
1/29/2012 1:28:12 PM
There is so much pressure on this guy because we all see that he has the physical tools to be elite, and our team is so shallow, we need him to be on pretty much every game.
1/29/2012 2:03:49 PM

I thought Calvin was going to jump out the building when Johnson threw him that errant lob.
2/4/2012 1:52:49 PM
Leslie should put in some tapes of Josh Howard and watch his transformation from an athletic forward with limited range to an NBA-ready slasher who could score from anywhere. When Howard came to Wake, he was an unpolished product who used his athleticism to rack up points and rebounds. He worked on his shot so much that by his senior year, he had NBA 3pt range. Leslie's future is at small forward if he wants to make it in the NBA. He needs to put the time in and develop his midrange game and ball-handling skills.[Edited on February 10, 2012 at 10:21 AM. 2/10/2012 10:16:26 AM
I've always liked him in a Hakim Warrick type role from Syracuse's title team.
2/10/2012 10:21:48 AM
Man, Warrick had those Grundy-like proportions in a 6'9" frame. Dude's arms went on forever.Yeah, Warrick is probably a more realistic comparison. I shudder at the thought of Leslie jacking up 3s the way Howard used to.[Edited on February 10, 2012 at 10:28 AM. Reason : 2]
2/10/2012 10:25:28 AM
anyone see him bitching at johnson after that errant lob last night?did the brown/leslie allely-oop make sportscenter?
2/10/2012 10:25:29 AM
^ No, it did not.And I just looked at the Mock Draft (like that shit holds any cred...but it's interesting nonetheless)...and it has Leslie going 29th....in the 2013 draft. Pretty accurate if you ask me. Needs to work on his perimeter game in the offseason.
2/10/2012 10:28:22 AM
yeah I saw him fussing at Johnson after the ally-oop attempt. It wasn't that bad of a pass - the GT defender just made a great play on the ball, like a DB in football breaking up a deep pass.
2/10/2012 10:28:24 AM
Wasn't a big deal.
