i'd like to, but do i really need 3 qb's? i doubt anyone would be willing to trade for one of them
9/16/2007 7:53:17 PM
motherfuck I should have kept Kellen winslow in there instead of witten.
9/16/2007 7:53:53 PM
my crappy fantasy team needs brady to put up 30 for it have a chance
9/16/2007 8:09:27 PM
my team is fucking cursed by New Orleans who went from a TD machine to absolutely pathetic in the offseasonCan someone explain to me what the fuck happened to them?I have Devery Henderson, Maques Colston (who had an ok game today), and Eric Johnson (who did a little).Brees didnt even throw in DH's directionthat is 2 weeks in a row and he is a NO 2 Receiverwhat the fuck, its not like Tampa is that good for christ's sake
9/16/2007 8:18:16 PM
Dallas is back to being "america's team"
9/16/2007 8:23:56 PM
great week to have Palmer (esp since my opponent had S.Smith and Holt)!!
9/16/2007 8:24:40 PM
Why does Brady NEVER even look to Stallworth?GOD DAMMIT!I NEED 6 points from that bastard for the win this week. (1 pt for 10 yds rec/rush and .5 point per rec).
9/16/2007 8:37:13 PM
Yeah, Palmer sure as hell has been the only reason why I'm ahead as of now (112-96). I have Gostkowski kicking tonight, and he has the Eagles D tomorrow night. I'm hoping for Gostkowski to get a lot of field goals tonight (like the UVA kicker yesterday), or just a poor-average Eagles showing.
9/16/2007 8:37:49 PM
ok thats enough for me, goodbye stallworth, hello welker
9/16/2007 8:49:52 PM
Why does Brady NEVER even look to Stallworth?
9/16/2007 8:58:29 PM
^probably because welker and moss and watson are open[Edited on September 16, 2007 at 9:04 PM. Reason : it's not like he's having trouble moving the ball]
9/16/2007 9:03:54 PM
there...stallworth reception...plz to be quiet
9/16/2007 9:06:24 PM
it's not a good night to have Rivers and be playing against Brady
9/16/2007 9:07:02 PM
gd, playing against NE kicker. Please to only throw TDs, NE
9/16/2007 9:18:02 PM
Who is D Wynn on GB? Should I pick him up?
9/16/2007 9:23:01 PM
He appears to be the backup of the backup RB on GB. GB is also facing some tough run defenses the next few weeks.
9/16/2007 9:36:03 PM
the GB running back situation is screwedthey have a starter that continues to be hurt but will eventually come back2 backups fighting for the right to startregardless of how it goes, no one will really benefit until they name a dedicated starteri would hold off until unless you really need him
9/16/2007 9:44:43 PM
where the hell is Maroney...this guy is killing me. first round draft pick and no TD's thus far
9/16/2007 9:52:59 PM
ditto
9/16/2007 9:53:28 PM
Brady needs another TD. That int hurt
9/16/2007 9:54:18 PM
fuck god damn bradyi put the golden jew in last week and he's going back this week to facefuck SF
9/16/2007 10:02:02 PM
i mean its not like maroney isnt doing anything when he gets the ballRUN IT MORE BILL
9/16/2007 10:07:49 PM
9/16/2007 10:09:46 PM
lol I wonder how many people are pissed morris got that td
9/16/2007 11:05:07 PM
FUCK FUCK FUCKBELICHECK YOU ARE KILLING MY TEAM WITH SAMMY MORRIS
9/16/2007 11:05:46 PM
Patriots don't need to run it -- they just hit Welker on the quick pass.[Edited on September 16, 2007 at 11:17 PM. Reason : RIP stallworth]
9/16/2007 11:13:46 PM
yeah....Stallworth is Dungy like Tony.I won't drop him yet, but I damn sure wont ever start him anytime soon.I could have won if I had started Vincent Jackson instead
9/16/2007 11:21:48 PM
ive been offered larry johnson and carson palmer for mcnabb and steven jackson.Thoughts?
9/16/2007 11:39:20 PM
I think i would take that. McNabb looks crappy this year[Edited on September 17, 2007 at 12:02 AM. Reason : (but my fantasy team is getting raped, so hows that for judgement)]
9/16/2007 11:41:53 PM
Once again SJ isn't helping me, and LT you are letting me down.Gates performs, Garcia performs, Andre Johnson and the Minny D/ST perform. But I'm playing someone with Palmer and Favre...ugh, haha.Outside chance of catching up but I'd need a lot of McNabb to Reggie Brown, haha.
9/16/2007 11:47:44 PM
Up 25, but other guy has westbrook. If there's anyone who can make that diff up, its westbrook
9/16/2007 11:50:21 PM
I would have won two of my my leagues if I didn't play any defense at allInstead of the Bengals at NEGATIVE FUCKING 8 POINTSRot in pieces, Marvin Lewis
9/16/2007 11:52:24 PM
Vincent Jackson and Jerious Norwood are on my chopping block right now. I am definitely going to give VJ another couple of weeks seeing that the Chargers have played two of the best DEF in the league so far. The Falcons are so horrible, they'll never be able to have consistent rushing stats.
9/16/2007 11:52:29 PM
dammitdammitdammiti dropped jamal lewis last weeksomeone else picked him off by waiversand steven jackson had a mediocre weekfor next week, i'm benching Brees' ass for Delhomme. Enough is enough.Chris Henry? yeah, that was wise.I'M SO STUPID.
9/17/2007 12:01:53 AM
Unless Reggie Brown decides to have a great game, my new starting WR core will be Andre Johnson, Calvin Johnson, and Braylon Edwards, haha, can't believe I had Braylon on my bench, damn it Derek Anderson, haha. And if Portis has a good game today he'll be starting over Steven Jackson next week.
9/17/2007 8:25:54 AM
Question for the Guru.Stephen Jackson (my starter) hasn't been great so far this season and between him and Bulger, they are basically the reason why I am not leading my league so far. Should I sit him this week in favor of Adrian Peterson who has been pretty good so far and plays a terrible KC next week? or is SJ due for a decent week against Tampa? Also it looks like my best WR Andre Johnson may be out for a bit with a strained knee. I have Cotchery, Darrell Jackson, and Stallworth as backups. I am leaning towards Cotchery as his replacement, but I feel like Stallworth is due a breakout game once teams start keying on Moss more. thoughts?[Edited on September 17, 2007 at 9:52 AM. Reason : whoops wrong team]
9/17/2007 9:46:28 AM
I'm dropping Stallworth. Eff him. I'm trying to pick up Edwards off of waivers.
9/17/2007 12:25:20 PM
^Braylon Edwards was never picked up in your draft or off of waivers? ^^I understand your concern about S-Jax, but keep in mind that so far this season, there haven't really been any RB's to distance themselves from the rest of the field. Typically, you give your studs a longer leash than other players on your roster by keeping them in the starting lineup and giving them time to play out of their slumps. S-Jax is no different. He will play his way out of this and should be in your lineup everyweek until you start seeing a real trend. Tampa Bay is a possibility for a break out game, so without a doubt, leave him in and hope for the best. For your WR issues, Johnson is having an MRI today. We should know the extent of his injury once they release the results. He could be out for a few weeks, but it also could just be a "day to day" thing where he ends up playing this Sunday. I would have to go with Cotch as your fill in though, not only because of his performance yesterday, but the fact is that this year's Jets arent that good, and they will likely be playing from behind in just about every game. Cotch is a great fill in just in case Johnson does miss any time.......For anyone who is interested and possibly needs a TE, this upcoming week with Houston vs. Indy will be Owen Daniels break out performance. I'm calling it. Pick him up now if you need help at TE.- The Guru
9/17/2007 1:17:32 PM
wtf is up with Jones-Drew
9/17/2007 1:25:55 PM
where can I go to put a hit out on the entire Bengals defense?
9/17/2007 1:27:26 PM
Twista....I told you to get an elite WR in rd.2, but noooooo, you had to get Jones-Drew.It's a shame too, because 2007 is shaping up to be the year of the Wide Receiver.
9/17/2007 1:39:16 PM
luckily I have Chad Johnson/Roy Williams in one league and Chad Johnson/Andre Johnson in the other league...and Steven Jackson/Jamal Lewis in both leaguesbtw this is what Andre Johnson has http://www.aidmystrain.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=home.pcl-injury
9/17/2007 1:59:46 PM
^^ Ya I should have taken a stud WR instead since the 2nd level RBs are all about the same and some are even outperforming the stud 1st Rnd RBs.It's still to early to see what happens. Chad Johnson could be double covered the rest of the year and you might not get a better performance than yesterday. If possible a sell high and get a Roy Williams and another RB if you need depth.
9/17/2007 2:43:10 PM
no way I would sell high right now on Chad. You sell high when mediocre players are performing above their heads. When Chad Johnson does it, it's because he is a stud. Don't trade Johnson, thats absurd.
9/17/2007 3:49:38 PM
Trade I just got offeredI give up: K. WinslowI get: Ronnie BrownIm real tempted to do this because I have Witten as my other tightend (even though that fucker did jackshit this weekend) and Im thin at RBThe RB's I have areF. GoreT. JonesL. BettsShould I do it?
9/17/2007 5:04:23 PM
i'd counter with witten. brown hasn't really done shit this year, and winslow has WAAAAAAAY more potential
9/17/2007 5:12:32 PM
^ I agree with Stingray...that was the first thing I thought when I read it too...Who is his TE right now?
9/17/2007 5:32:11 PM
haha, i dropped jacoby jobes without even checking andre johnson's injury report. oh well.
9/17/2007 5:36:40 PM
I have Brandon Marshall and Santonio Holmes to choose from to backup Andre...they say Andre Johnson is listed as "Questionable" for Week 3...thats pretty up in the air..."Probable" means they're most likely going to play..."Doubtful" means they're most likely not going to play..."Questionable" is completely unknown...monitor situation all week
