All I remember about it is that Pierce Brosnan and Linda Hamilton are in it. And at some point they are on a lake in a small boat and the water starts boiling so the grandma gets out to push the boat to shore, then she pretty much melts.

Watched volcano last night. Stand by volcano being superior. They both have silly things. I guess in the 90's we weren't so cynical or something

Besides The Odyssey, Wicker will be the most watched film of 2026.

Damnit, now I’m going to have to watch Volcano.

Anybody seen the new Spider-Man yet?

Also, I watched SuperGirl last night. I don’t see what all the negative fuss is about. It was a fun movie that reminded me of Guardians of the Galaxy.

I enjoyed Masters of the Universe and thought it was pretty good for what it was: a movie based on cartoons about some toys from the 80s. I had most of the toys, wish I still had them

My neighbor phill keeps trying to get me to watch that...he said it was pretty solid. It was just before my era of youth, so I have no real emotional connection etc

It made me think about going and watching the 1987 movie. From what I remember of that, it was pretty awful, which was what I was expecting from this one, but was pleasantly surprised how decent it was.

^I think the original 1987 movie was Courtney Cox's first credited role lol. I don't know why I remember that. I was like four years old when that movie came out but my dad took me and my older brother to see it.

Just got out of the odyssey. It was ok. Can't see myself going to a 70mm movie again

7:45. Some dude did little presentation before it started, talking about 70mm imax etc. How only 40 theaters and 25 in US. San Antonio location went down a few weeks ago so just like dallas location for a minute. They have a 2:30am showing too, dude said they pretty much show it 24hr a day. 70mm gets like 5 min sneak preview of dune 3, looks good, and i didn't care for the first 2. Prob didn't give the first two an honest shake though...and dislike that chamelet dude. Phill likes dune and was like dune 3 is the movie to see in 70mm

Masters of the Universe deserved better. It was fun and I enjoyed it quite a bit.
