I think it's pretty well accepted at this point that Zimmerman will either go to jail, or be murdered by the NRA/Black Panthers in a joint effort.

The fact the pursued the kid, even after a dispatcher told him not to do that, will not make this an easy case of self-defense. There is no way to can twist this fact when he admitted to following the kid in the 911 call.

Ok, well let me go over this again since some of you are still missing the point. This is what we know.George Zimmerman sees someone that HE THINKS is suspicious for whatever reasons. This does not matter legally. HE THINKS the guy is suspicious and calls 911.While on the phone with 911 and still in his car, this person that George Zimmerman sees takes off running.Tired of past criminals getting away, and thinking that Trayvon is another one about to get away, based on what he has seen up to this point, Zimmerman decides to follow the person while still on the phone with 911 and at this point, has no clue where Trayvon is. He ends the call as he is walking back to his car to meet the cops still with no clue where Trayvon is. This is all recorded in the 911 call.At this point NOTHING ILLEGAL HAS OCCURED.While walking back to his car one of two things PROBABLY happened.1)Zimmerman sees Trayvon and chases him down, he starts a fight with Trayvon and Trayvon begins to beat his ass. There are wounds on Zimmerman to suggest this. During the fight, and not going to let this black thug get away with kicking his ass, Zimmerman shoots him dead.2)Trayvon thinking he is also being chased by a criminal, attacks Zimmerman and begins to beat Zimmerman causing the wounds from the police report. Zimmerman gets the slip on him and for whatever reason thinks that Trayvon has become a threat at this point. Reaches for a cell phone and Zimmerman thinks its a gun, whatever we will never know. It only matters if Zimmerman felt he was in danger, so he shoots and kills Trayvon to eliminate what he thinks is a threat to his life by the criminal he thought he was chasing. There is no tangible evidence at this point to suggest that either one of them happened or didn't happen. There are witnesses saying it was Zimmerman screaming, there are some saying it was Trayvon. Some say Zimmerman was on top, some say it was Trayvon. All George Zimmerman basically has to do is go with story number 2 and he will more than likely get away with this.THERE IS NOTHING TO DISCOUNT STORY #2 at this point. It's basically a he said she said and none of it physically shows that whatever story Zimmerman is telling at this point isn't what happened.A 911 dispatcher is a glorified phone answerer with no authority to tell anyone what to or what not to do.[Edited on March 23, 2012 at 11:28 PM. lol I haven't backed away from anything. And in scenario 2, in the eyes of Zimmerman at the time, he is not an innocent kid at the point where he starts to attack Zimmerman.Soooooooo...... let me go over this again since some of you are still missing the point. This is what we know.George Zimmerman sees someone that HE THINKS is suspicious for whatever reasons. So you don't think running is a reasonable action if you think you are being followed? And if Zimmerman caught up with him, you don't think the kid swings for his life was reasonable? And to think this guy should not did not casue this incident is absurd, when you JUST stated the evidence this will make it VERY HARD for him to claim self-defense when he DID NOT HAVE TO, NOR SHOULD HAVE pursued the kid. Just becasue he did not do any illeagl is not the point. Self-defense wins usually when the facts points to the danger COMING AT YOU and NOT YOU PURSUING the danger.[Edited on March 23, 2012 at 11:34 PM. Reason : /]

I am asleep in my house in Florida.I awake to the sounds of someone breaking into my house.I grab my gun which I have a permit for and go downstairs to investigate.Someone is coming at me, I tell them to stop or I'll shoot, he doesn't so I shoot and fire fearing for my life and the safety of my family at the time. I kill the intruder.Only, it turns out it wasn't an intruder like I thought. It was my neighbor, drunk out of his mind and high on drugs and had lost his keys and thought he was breaking into his own house.Guess what. I killed an innocent unarmed man, and I wouldn't be arrested or convicted of anything. This is an example of how fucking mistakes and misunderstandings happen in life and you don't always get charged with something.

Haha, this has turned into a really silly post exchange that I see no reason to continue.^^ They are investigating, the case is NOT CLOSED.If the case was CLOSED I would say, oh well self-defense and there you go, but it ain't that easy. It's true that following the kid really doesn't mean anything. This can be reduced to a confrontation between two strangers in a public place. Started out with two, ended with one. Let's be honest, how do such confrontations usually get handled by the law? The guy who showed up with the gun probably gets life.Just sayin.

^^ true, but the whole purpose for juries and trials is that it's never just a narrow slice of an isolated circumstance.Otherwise all our crimes could be processed via a 1960s era computer.^ what you're saying is that justice doesn't matter if someone can convince enough people their clearly unjust actions are inside a poorly worded law. What intelligent people are saying is that it's clear Martin was murdered, and the police should arrest him and let the legal system work its magic.[Edited on March 23, 2012 at 11:47 PM. IF Zimmerman thought he was being attacked by a criminal then he had every right to defend himself in his mind. And legally too.

The bloody nose and the busted bleeding head documented in the police report should suffice. Oh, and his wet back covered in grass that shows at some point Zimmerman was on his back. But I guess you could argue he inflicted all those wounds himself after cornering and executing the kid gang style.

3/24/2012 12:09:18 AM
No, I am showing what Zimmerman is CLAIMING and why he will probably not be arrested or if he is, found innocent.Since there is NO EVIDENCE to disprove his story.EVIDENCE is needed to show that what Zimmerman is claiming "That he pursued what he believed to be a suspect, and when that suspect attacked him, he defended himself" is not what happened. So far, no evidence has come forward to show that thats now what happened as Zimmerman claims.[Edited on March 24, 2012 at 12:13 AM.
