^^Yeah dude, Amerson looks like the real deal. I was pretty pissed and distraught following the game. Time to think about it afterwards and watching the highlights actually gave me some hope though. Sure it was sloppy and much worse than we hoped, but the highlights show flashes of great plays and the foundation being there. Here's hoping TOB and staff coach the shit out of those boys this week.

Phil Steele's game recap was dead nuts on except the +7 TOs. We sucked dick and our offense got outplayed by freaking Liberty. If not for the two late TDs, this would have been an embarassing score for us (in my opinion it still was, who gives up 21 pts to Liberty?)

TWW is just as clueless as PP apparently. They were not a bad team, did you go or watch the game? Their QB would start for many ACC teams. West Virginia beat them by a whopping score of 33-20 in 2009 and won 9 games. Last year Liberty beat 1-A Ball State. Chill out.

Keep in mind, one of those touchdowns was a fumble return from that uncovered corner rush, and one of their field goals was from >50 yards.

Our defense only gave up 11 points. One touchdown from a big pass play caused by Amerson losing to the double move (the same Amerson who comes up with two picks later in the game), a field goal and a 2 point conversion.

Wake was projected to go 0-8 in some predictions in ACC play. If their QBs have not improved, although it looks like Price has, then they could easily be the worst team in the ACC. How could you argue against Mike Brown is about as good as a QB we will see on our schedule this year?

In my opinion, Mike Brown is better than all ACC QBs with the exception of EJ Manuel, Danny O'Brien and HOPEFULLY Glennon.

They also have good players at other positions as well. The difference is that an FCS team has a lot less scholarships, which means their depth at a given position is weaker.

If you're going to include "hopefully Glennon," it's hard to ignore Renner going 22/23, despite the fact that he was up against JMU. Here's hoping he was a fluke stellar start and Glennon was a fluke slow first game.

2. EJ Manuel
3. Fat Ass Taj Boyd (his real name)
4. Zach Collaros (UC won 72-10 over Austin Peay - we'll see how good they are as they travel into Neyland this weekend)

UNC/GT/BC QBs are all probably as good.

I hate being right about everything I said, in this case. packboozie, you're an idiot. Liberty was the football team's Delaware state, and the rest of this season will turn out the same way it did for basketball.

Hopefully, we fire TOB just as we fired Lowe. They are cut from the same cloth of mediocrity and incompetence. That's the only positive we can take out of this season.
