http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/oct/17/wayne-rooney-manchester-uniteddamn. who wants him (and can afford what he's worth)?hopefully City makes a bid
10/17/2010 5:31:15 PM
i doubt it happens, its probably just the press blowing something out of proportion. but if rooney did really piss of ferguson, he will surely feel his wrath. and be transferred
10/17/2010 5:40:48 PM
^^ That would be like 9/11 times 1000
10/17/2010 7:16:40 PM
Silva's goal was pure class
10/17/2010 8:50:30 PM
fuck out of here
10/17/2010 9:08:56 PM
I love how Tevez is making Man U look stupid for getting rid of him.The fact he's doing it for a team that represents douchebaggery, I could do without.
10/17/2010 9:50:09 PM
This Rooney stuff kind of came out of nowhere, didn't it?

He must've known that story about him fuckin hookers was going to break.Fuck that kid.
10/19/2010 10:48:26 AM
Alonso wants out, it's Rafa's fault. Rooney wants out, it's Rooney's fault.beginning of the end for United with the Glazers at the helm
10/19/2010 10:54:00 AM
^ I was just about to say that is the beginning of the long road to mediocrity for United. What if he goes to Chelsea on free?
10/19/2010 10:57:32 AM
why would he go on a free, he still has a year and a half left on his contract
10/19/2010 11:00:18 AM
10/19/2010 11:13:50 AM
Tthere's no actual proof Rafa wanted to sell Alonso, it was more of Alonso's feelings being hurt that Rafa would actually want to add another good midfielder (the two weren't even playing the same position at the time). If Rafa wanted to sell Alonso that summer, I guarantee they could have found somebody (I'm pretty sure Juventus and Arsenal were interested). It was another example of the media trying to put two things together just because they "made sense" not because they were actually true - Rafa wanted Barry, nobody on Liverpool could get them the transfer money needed to match the higher valuation aside from Alonso (obviously excluding Torres/Gerrard) so it made the most sense for the deal to happenIt's all about a player feeling valued and Rooney obviously doesn't. Sir and United are stupid for leaving it so late in Rooney's contract discussions because all he wants is to get paid.they're obviously different circumstances but the underlying issue is coach vs. player - this "can't be more than the club" horseshit is always so popular with United fans but the fact is your best player wants the fuck out and the club is receiving no blame for it. I'm sure he just woke up one day in August and said, "Fuck this club, I'm going somewhere else" for no reason, right?[Edited on October 19, 2010 at 11:33 AM. Reason : .]

He's gone in January, Rooney can buyout his current deal for 5mil at the end of the year.
10/19/2010 11:35:41 AM
Let the bidding begin. The market will be hot for him, but if all the clubs attempt to lowball United for him because of the situation, they could get super fucked by this deal.popcorn.gif ITT[Edited on October 19, 2010 at 11:45 AM. am i crazy to think that Rooney and SAF are sitting back having a good laugh about the best troll job ever
10/19/2010 1:49:42 PM
Yeah, good point. SAF is known for his witty hijinks.
10/19/2010 1:51:38 PM
10/19/2010 1:57:15 PM
It's weird, but I don't think losing rooney will hurt man utd a ton. He's been playing like shit for a while now, too bad they didn't sell him before the world cup so they could get more value for him.
10/19/2010 2:04:03 PM
bring in benzema...lol
10/19/2010 3:21:07 PM
mm-hmmalso if Torres left, it wouldn't be a big deal to Liverpool either because he too has been out of form or injured for a while, right?
10/19/2010 3:30:17 PM
well look at the difference in the table. united havent had problems scoring goals...surprising and uncharacteristically enough they have just been giving away leads for no reason.liverpool, with the exception of 1 or 2 games have just looked flat all game long and dont have anyone who really wants to score except gerrard on set piece situations..(unless you were being sarcastic just now )[Edited on October 19, 2010 at 3:36 PM. 10/19/2010 3:36:26 PM
torres has been horrible for probably a year. liverpool sucks because their only strikers are torres (injured/sucky) n'gog (league 2 quality striker) and jovanovic (?). Gerrard scores all the goals for them. If they could ship off torres for 50 mil and get 2 good strikers, that'd probably be a good trade off, because they have absolutely no depth after torres. Man Utd has owen, berbatov, macheda, all of whom are at least better than n'gog. Berbatov is playing a lot better than Torres right now, and they still get goals from Nani. I don't like how SAF throws players under the bus so quickly though. Everytime a player leaves he makes them seem like the villain.[Edited on October 19, 2010 at 3:55 PM. Reason : s]
10/19/2010 3:50:31 PM
i wouldnt say a year. he did score a good amount when he played last season...but for some reason he has some shitty ass muscles in his legs and cant stay healthy.
10/19/2010 4:02:00 PM
Not sure why you're comparing Liverpool and United... that wasn't the pointRooney was a top 5 player in the world less than a year ago and now it's a good idea for him to leave?? (when the odds are likely you won't get shit in return)I don't care about Torres form right now - when he's on, there's no one better. And I'm not sure where you will find world class strikers you can get for 15 mil, let me know
10/19/2010 4:02:03 PM
didn't they get torres for like 15-20 mil?
10/19/2010 4:11:00 PM
yeah a couple of years agomarket for good strikers is a little fucked now[Edited on October 19, 2010 at 4:15 PM. Reason : Bebe was 7 mil for crying out loud]
