You're right, it's people/organizations using computers properly that will (help a lot).

They could help... especially if people quit being all like, "derp they took our jerbs" put down the American Idol and instead learned about design in their spare time allowing them to open an etsy store and reach a global market

Great effort, the message is spreading. The fact that we have to get to the point where everyone in this country is broke to listen is a sad commentary on the people of this country.

It's crazy that anyone making under $5,000,000 million a year actually thinks Romney/Obama has their interests in mind

$1M so far!

First time I've donated to anyone's political campaign (save for every president since 1996 that used AF-1 for campaign purposes...I'm sure Obama isn't the first...just the most flagrant).

Ron Paul will win 2012.

Guaranteed.

If he loses, we no longer have to guess whether the voting system is corrupt. It will be corrupt absolutely.

I'm not asking for anyone to prove me wrong or reply. I'm solely answering MisterGreen's question.

Quote :
"and you figure this...how?"

I do social research via the internet using Facebook, TWW, etc...

I do social research via real life customers, friends, family, etc...

I study how opinion of the populous changes over time and monitor how a news story affects public opinion.

I observe the reactions and numbers of supporters at public events.

I read comments on all the candidate's facebooks.

I look at donation amounts and the donators.

If you'd like to back me up on this and check for yourself, if you read any negatively portrayed yahoo news story about Ron Paul, all the yahoo comments at the bottom of the page show overwhelming support for Ron Paul.

This is especially important to note because Yahoo commentators usually express the most unobstructed opinionated comments on the internet. These users are the first ones to stereotype, throw racist comments, disprove a story, add a conspiracy theory, mock people for getting killed etc. This is important because I believe these feelings represent what the majority of people are thinking but are usually too afraid to express publicly. The fact that they are being positive and saying positive things on the Internet is pretty powerful.

If you look at the facts as pertains to capturing core American values on Freedom:
Ron Paul has the right message.
The supporters are more energetic and enthusiastic and agreeing with Ron Paul's message.
Even the candidates running against Ron Paul support Ron Paul.

Who is resisting?
The only resistance is coming from corporate owned media and the rich and powerful behind the scenes who we don't even know their names. Well... at least I don't know their names and if you can tell me, that would be fantastic. I would like to know who is in charge of organizing the whole presidential voting process including allocating resources, approving procedures, security, etc? I would like to know. I would like to know who are the people that approve the stories that are approved on the front page of yahoo, associated press, CNN, FOX, MSN, etc? Who are the people that approve the approvers?

All I know about the top of the chain is this: 1) They're rich 2) They're biased 3) They're both manipulated and manipulating. 4) They have power 5) They have friends in Washington.

http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2012/01/huntsman-to-drop-out-of-gop-race/

Okay, all of you Jon Huntsman supporters, it's time to make a choice: Do you want to support a candidate who has had and will have to apologize for his record during this Presidential Election, or do you want someone who has been a life-long conservative and protector of liberty? Ron Paul is the answer to the disease that is Obama Politics in Washington, not another Establishment Republican.

Well, he is sort of a populist...and he is a halfwitted douche...so I guess that accounts for a few percent.

...but yeah, I don't get it, either (although it did say "moderates/liberals", not that I see how that would make any difference). The only reason anyone should support him is because they're cocksuckers who want a theocracy.

Bear in mind that self-identifying as "moderate" doesn't actually mean you are a moderate, it can also mean you happen to know some *seriously* crazy people that make your own beliefs look mundane. There's also plenty of people who call themselves moderate simply because it makes them feel above the fray to say so, or they're so confident in their own beliefs that they assume they must be the common sense middle-of-the-road position.

i support ron paul not because i necessarily agree with his entire platform, but because his attitude and beliefs are exactly what we need in washington. as it stands, whether we have a republican or dem president, i believe the nation is slowly moving in the wrong direction, especially fiscally. electing paul would by no means guarantee that his entire platform would be enacted, but it would help push our country back in the right direction again.

Lets bash RON PAUL over 25,000 but say nothing about the billions obama gives to foreign countries who hate us. Or about how obama just #$%$ money away whenever he can. Why not talk about how much obama is spending for his campaign? By the way, Isn't he supposed to be running the country instead of... More

Yahoo has a witness that will testify that she went into the bathroom after Ron Paul and that the seat on the toilet was left up. She is being held in an undisclosed location for her safety and will be brought forth to testify if RP refuses to drop from the race.

Curtis • 10 hrs ago

This is what they have against Paul? He wants to cut $1 trillion and balance the budget, so he shouldn't fly 1st class? I drive a car and I'd like the government to balance the budget. I guess I should ride my bike everywhere.

Someone answered his call :

Quote :
"Massive opposition file on Romney hits Internet, likely from 2008 McCain campaign

If you think you’ve already heard everything there is to know about Mitt Romney, think again. A 200-page document that appears to be Sen. John McCain’s entire 2008 election-year opposition research file on the former Massachusetts governor hit the Internet with a vengeance Tuesday evening. And it’s an eye-opener.

tldr; ^

<yawn>

1. owning a business = always a rich thug white old dude. never because he's an intelligent clever guy
2. evolving political opinions = always a flip floper. can't be that he learned from mistakes
3. paying 15% taxes and being rich = you're breaking the law! can't be because you are paying the 15% long term capital gains tax.

on the other side of the coin:

1. if you're a senator from chicago and black = you're a thug as well
2. not wearing a flag pin on suit = you're anti american and burn american flags
3. if you don't give up your birth certificate and you're dad is from kenya and you go to church with jeremiah wright and bill ayers for 20 years = you're a secret muslim terrorist

LOL! citing the declaration of independence as if it were law. It's a nice piece of paper, but means jack shit in law.
