I just got a ticket from the USC Website- http://gamecocksonline.cstv.com/- I bought two tickets in section 509 for $104 . This game is going to be nuts. Where is everyone tailgating.

I looked into public parking and stuff but i'm still waiting to hear back from my uncle who's a USC alum to try and figure out what the best parking situation will be. I'll add what he tells me in this thread.

parking is not hard to find at williams-brice if you show up early enough. Whenever my dad and I go to the USC-Clemson game in Columbia we just find a bunch of orange and pay the $10. The area around the stadium is not pretty but it's meant solely for football on Saturdays so there are a lot of businesses that use their lots as gameday parking. An easy 5-10 minute walk to the stadium.one thing I'm always shocked about when I visit williams-brice is how dated the stadium actually is. I've been there every other year for the past 16 years and the stadium feels like it hasn't changed much (the field and video monitor are nice but everything is pretty shitty). It'll make you appreciate NCSU and Clemson's stadium so much more. And if you thought the Wake Forest over-amplified bells were annoying (which I'm dreading this year for Clemson's Thursday night game in Winston), wait until you hear the rooster crow.[Edited on August 4, 2008 at 4:41 PM. My uncle, a South Carolina grad and cock club premiere member or whatever they call it, has promised me tickets to this game since Easter. I reminded him in July at a family thing and haven't heard from him since. I hope he comes through, I really want to go.
8/4/2008 5:10:50 PM
you can park right next to the stadium in the fairgrounds for $20. either the WPC or alumni association was doing a tailgate event for $30/person includes parking and a shit ton of food. cash bar. not a good deal if you're with a few people, but if you're by yourself or just you and a buddy and you want to be near state fans, it's not that bad i guess. saves the hassle of taking a grill down there, finding parking, etc.OH by the way, you CAN have liquor in their fairgrounds (unlike us). so for those of you who really want to tie one on, go for it.off topic - got my season tickets in the mail today woooocan't wait for tailgating[Edited on August 4, 2008 at 6:36 PM. ha. that wolf looks pretty badass.
8/4/2008 9:27:52 PM
Now if we can just get live wolves to flank the visitor's entrance we'd be in business. That'd be pretty badass and intimidating to have wolves snarling at the opponents as they come out.
8/4/2008 9:30:14 PM
or just live wolves to attack the visiting team

that wolf looks stupid and I've always thought the fake stone shit around the entrance looked cheesy

Don't thank me, zebranky is the one doing the player profiles. He's got a nice database/program set up. I mean I actually started the whole post a player's profile based on his number matching the day till kickoff. I'm pretty sure I started that back during the "Days till Virginia Tech game" thread from a couple of years ago, but zebranky either took over last year for the UCF thread or for the App State thread two years ago.
