I bought a case of it, then turned around the next week and bought a bunch of 223 reloading components, so I don't really need these.http://www.the-armory.com/shopsite_sc/store/html/umc_223_55gr_case.htmlLinky to pic and info.[Edited on July 29, 2008 at 10:44 AM. Anytime on Friday works for me. I will bring my .45, two .40s, a .22, and a AR with a .22 conversion kit. I might bring a 9mm as well. You are more than welcome to shoot anything I bring if you buy/bring your own ammo.

Case of .223 is gone, also have an entire, untouched case of Remington/UMC 9mm I'll part with for $120 firm. Gotta clean house to pay for all this new reloading gear. http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpage.exe/showproduct?saleitemid=767608Linky w/ pics and info on 9mm

I have 20rds of Speer .45ACP Gold Dots (200gr +P) and 100rds of WWB (230gr FMJ) that I don't need. Both boxes were opened but the ammo is in new condition and stored in .50 Cal cans with good seals and I always use desiccant. If anyone wants them hit me up, I will sell all of it for $40. I believe I paid around $38 for the WWB and $28 for the Gold Dots because I bought them locally. Also, I have 440rds of Bulgarian Steel Core 147gr 7.62x54R ammo. It's copper washed, steel cased and berdan primed. It's good stuff and the tin was sealed in 1988, opened about a month ago. They're wrapped in paper in 20rd packs and they've also been stored in quality .50 Cal cans with desiccant. Hit me up if you're interested, I don't need much for this ammo, plus it's quality mil surp for you Mosin Nagant or Romanian PSL owners.Type of can used to store all of the ammo (You can see the bag of crack... Oops, I mean desiccant.. in the can):[Edited on July 29, 2008 at 7:07 PM. Reason : $40]

Heading to PHSDC at 4:30 on Friday.

I think I was wrong on that ammo pricing btw, I think I only payed $28 for both. As a result I'm only asking $30, thanks again![Edited on July 29, 2008 at 9:34 PM. Reason : ]

WTB shotgun and/or AR-15
7/29/2008 10:55:29 PM
I would have sold you my H&R Pardner if you'd asked a couple of weeks ago and I'd been on here. That was a reliable shotgun, it never once failed and for the price it was just fine. I wouldn't have wanted more than $80 for it even though it was in great condition and only had a couple hundred standard power rounds through it (I only put maybe 10 or 15 "magnum buck" loads and maybe 30 full power foster slug loads through it in the entire time I owned it). I sold it recently though since I have a Mossberg 590 anyway. If you don't find one here, the Mossberg 50577 8 shot 12 gauge can be found for a low price and it's a good shotgun IMO.[Edited on July 30, 2008 at 2:07 AM. Reason : ]

I have a Marlin 882-SSV that I wouldn't mind getting rid of. .22 WMR, 3-9x32 Simmons. stainless bull barrel.trigger has been worked--has a really nice trigger (MUCH better than stock). problem is that the safety got kinda fuckered up in the process, so it doesn't really engage reliably. I'd personally rather have it the way it is now than stock, but I can see how some would not.very accurate (for what it is) inside 50 yards...like 1/2 to 3/4" groups. accuracy deteriorates somewhat at longer ranges (though still acceptable).WAY more power than a .22 LR, and fun to shoot. great for punching paper or drilling small game in the head at 50 yards.

9mm is sold.

Any one got any ar uppers, or ak for sale?
8/1/2008 10:30:56 AM
If I wanted to sell my handgun to one of my buddies - all I would need to do is write up a bill of sale and have both of us sign it? Should it be notarized? I bought the gun from a dealer and had it registered - I don't want my friend to put a body on it then have it traced back to my ownership. Help?
8/1/2008 11:42:14 AM
he needs to have a handgun purchase permit. the $5 one.
8/1/2008 11:54:29 AM
And do I just take that shit from him and sign it over?
8/1/2008 1:43:38 PM
yep bill of sale helps too.that should be all that you need.

interested in trading Sig 226 9mm for optics, AK or AR...will pay cash to cover difference in value if needed.
8/1/2008 2:42:32 PM
I wonder if he meant he sent in the registration card.
8/1/2008 4:15:57 PM
I really can't imagine wasting the time it takes to register a gun when you don't have to. Plus you'll be the first one they come for when some crazy ban gets enacted.

I gonna say, I had my first problems with PDHSC in the 3 years I have been doing business with them. Let me explain the sisutation. Three years ago, my family purchased a family membership (5 people). We have had that for the past 3 years. During year two, my brother and I bought a house and changed our addresses. Mike Tilley said that this wasn't a problem because we were all immeadiate family. At the end of year three, when it was time to renew, they said if we wanted to renew it was no problem, but the prices had gone up. Well, that was no big deal for us so we paid for another year membership. Well, my brother and I went in today with our Gold Passes. When one of the guys took our IDs he said "How do you have a family membership with different addresses?" I explained what Mike (owner had told us in the past). He made a big deal about it and decided to call Mike out of his office to "deal" with us. Mike told me and my brother that he had recently changed the policy at PDHSC (due to people taking advantages of the membership) and that he would not honor our membership any longer. He told me that he would rather refund my membership (pro-rated of course) than let us finish out the year. He took our memberships (before we shot today) and told me that if I wanted to shoot I would have to purchase a day pass. I am just dissapointed with Mike and PDHSC. They have lost my business. I would rather shoot outside than pay them a dime.
8/2/2008 4:45:06 PM
^ i was there for the first time last week and he was extremely nice... guess he was just trying to get us to come back
8/2/2008 4:49:22 PM
They were nice to me over there, but in general I am not a fan of gun stores. Often the employees are know it all's and look down on everyone else. They did exchange out a used gun I bought though, which most stores would NEVER do. I wasn't satisfied with it after I took it home and got a closer look at it, so I brought it back and they gave me store credit so I traded it out that day. That, in and of itself, has ensured that they will keep my business. That was an incredibly honorable thing to do IMO, lots of stores will pull the "used gun purchases are final" stuff.
8/2/2008 5:20:52 PM
Like I said, I have been doing business there for almost 5 years. I have purchased more than 6 guns from them...I guess will be shooting somewhere else fom now on.I have a feeling that I was costing them $ in the long run by using my memembership so often that he figured losing one loyal customer wasn't that big of a deal. I went to the range about 4-5 times per month. My two other brother went about once amonth on average. Cost of the pass is $310. I guess Mike figured I would just keep shooting there at $15 a time.15 x 50 for math sake is $750. Not to mention I never bought ammo from him....In my mind, he was trying to run me out. Well...he did a good job. I won't be back.
8/2/2008 5:55:45 PM
Yeah he clearly didn't want you there if he revoked the pass you paid for after he said it was ok. That's BS, plus I would NEVER buy ammo there unless it was absolutely necessary. I can get Speer Gold dots at $25 for 50 rounds, not $28 for 20rds. I bought that .45 ACP ammo there because I HAD to have some at that time, but if I can order it I always do. Now that I don't have a .45 I can spend a lot less on ammo. I get my 9mm HST's for $20/50 rounds and 9BPLE's for $15/50 rounds. Then when I need target ammo I go to Walmart and get the 100rd boxes of 9mm ammo for like $18 or so. It's gone up recently though, it was like $15 or $16. There's no reason to shoot PDHSC's ammo if you've brought your own guns, it's way overpriced. I hate that Blazer ammo they have too, the cases suck.[Edited on August 2, 2008 at 6:46 PM. Reason : ]

anyone have a .22 rifle they want to sell? would love a Ruger 10/22 but am open to offers.
8/3/2008 11:35:51 PM
^ I have a 702 bolt action clip style mossberg .22 with a 3-9x40 scope and bipod id sell for $140and a 802 semi auto mossberg .22 with clips and a 4x20 scope that i would sale for $120Both are black finish and in great working order. The semi auto has never been fired. the bolt action has had about 500 rounds through it no problem.
8/3/2008 11:54:24 PM
^ just to let you know you got the models backwards, the 802 is the bolt action and 702 is the semi auto.also you might want to rethink your prices because both of those guns sell for ~120 new........
8/4/2008 6:31:38 AM
^^^^^ $25 for 50 is right around the price at Lawmen's. I don't know if that's where he was talking about or not but that's what I paid last time I was there (admittedly about 3 months ago).
8/4/2008 7:41:25 AM
^^ Figured the scopes and extra clips were worth something.
8/4/2008 6:40:40 PM
not that much

I ended up picking up a brand new Ruger 10-22 tonight. Thanks for the offer though.

If you can find one, a Tula TOZ-78 makes a great bolt action .22, lightweight, good barrell, adjustable trigger, around $150.

^^Where and how much?

I left that .22 WMR at my grandparents' house in fuquay. if anyone wants it, I can work something out to meet you up there one weekend.
