cause its a IA opponent instead of IAA. How much were they to EKU.and if you originally signed up with a group and supply exceeds demand, then tickets should be reserved together for that group. So whenever you claim your ticket it should be with the group.
11/14/2005 2:46:32 PM
they were $30 to that too...they're always $30
11/14/2005 3:04:08 PM
they were 20 for EKU
11/14/2005 7:37:42 PM
or at least. ... I paid 20
11/14/2005 7:38:03 PM
they were 30...25 then 5 processing fee...it's a set thinghave no clue how you got one for 20 (you might want to check your ccard bill)but two years ago guest tickets were 25, last year they were 27, and this year they are 30natural progressionand Athletics is working out the kinks...hopefully it'll all be finished and fixed soon

Under "Your Tickets," I have that I won in the first lottery for the Middle Tennessee State game. However, I cannot click on anything to print them. Do I need to print one on-demand or just keep waiting for it to let me print the ticket I won?
11/15/2005 11:24:36 AM
I've got MTSU tix for $20. PM me
11/15/2005 11:35:16 AM
^^You won, but you have to claim your ticketGo to "Request/Claim Tickets"...click the game link....claim themThen you can go to "Your Tickets" to print them
11/15/2005 11:50:11 AM
Lee, when's the latest I can cancel a NCSU vs. MTSU ticket? 11/15 @ 11:59pm?
11/15/2005 12:27:00 PM
if i'm not mistaken, the latest you can cancel a ticket without penalty is noon the day before the game. So friday at noon.Granted this means that you actually claimed a ticket and you have an actual ticket under "your tickets". Otherwise you dont have one and if you dont claim it, then you wont get any penalty.

11/17/2005 8:31:16 AM
look at your student ticket...an hour ahead of tipoff
11/17/2005 11:05:15 AM
Are there still passes available for sat.? need to know before I walk down there.
11/17/2005 1:48:20 PM
there were still some left about 30 minutes ago. We had almost forgot that today was thursday. oh. And does anyone know if the fairgrounds lot is going to be open throughout the afternoon until the basketball game gets over. Cause there's no way everyone will be able to move from the fairgounds lot to the other lot behind CF before tipoff at 6.[Edited on November 17, 2005 at 2:17 PM. Reason : ]

I have a question. For some reason I can not remember my password and I am trying to go through the process where I fill in my information and it will tell me my password. Yet I can not get it to work. Does anyone know another way of getting my password because I need to reprint the ticket.
11/18/2005 1:22:23 AM
Have they completely got rid of standing in line 90 minutes before the game to get a student ticket? Reason I ask is my ID is still valid but since I am no longer actively registered i cant get the online tickets. Also if anyone has two tickets for tonights game or are willing to request and print them for me, i would love to have them.

soemthing needs to be done about not being able to get basketball ticket sup until the game, it is retardedly gay for it to be 25% full in there when i know a bunch of people are looking for tickets.
11/19/2005 8:17:09 PM
just because people are looking for tickets, doesn't mean there are any available
11/19/2005 8:21:33 PM
huh? there were a ton of empty seats in every section of the arena
11/19/2005 8:25:51 PM
^^ i would have gone if i could have picked up one @ the doorthey definately should have both options open to studentsand just close online ticketing a few hours before the game(total # of tickets - ones printed out online = ones you have @ ESA)its not hard folks
11/19/2005 8:26:52 PM
11/19/2005 8:31:25 PM
there is no way in hell all the tickets were given out for this game. the student section was AT BEST 1/4 full
11/19/2005 8:42:08 PM
never said all of em were given out, or anywhere near all of em. I would imagine not all of the tickets were given out the the lower student sections. I was just saying there were more than likely more tickets given out than what was there. I know several people that got tickets and didn't go. Whether they canceled or not, idk.as for the regular paid seats, I would imagine they did have some of those available at the door. But those would have had to have been bought.
11/19/2005 8:55:26 PM
I have a question.I was late to the basketball game tonight, and by the time I got there, my ticket could not get scanned because the scanners were gone. How can I get credit for attending?
11/20/2005 12:22:13 AM
I have a question as well.I cancelled my tickets for the Saturday night game and then went to the game on Friday night. I cancelled my tickets for the Saturday night game more than 24 hours before tipoff. SandSanta did the same thing. However, when I go and check my ticket status, it tells me I'm at Partial Status (1). I was never told that cancelling my ticket when I did would penalize me and there is no list of when the cancellation window closes for any of the basketball games this season.Who do I need to talk to in order to get up to full status again?
11/20/2005 2:49:10 PM
what's the deal with the student section seating?are people getting tickets and not coming?or is the ticket distribution distributing random tickets so that there's a bunch of empty seats in random places?one would think that they'd take the number of tickets requested and distribute the best tickets in the arena according to the number requestedthe lower level should be as full as possible each gameand i hope no one is getting 300 level seats if the lower level is as empty as is been
11/20/2005 4:42:35 PM
^^You can cancel a ticket at anytime. There is no "window" of when you can cancel it. But to cancel it without getting a penalty, I think it has to be canceled by noon, the day before the game. That is when the on demand for a game is supposed to close, so I think the theory is that if you cancel it by that time, then someone else can possibly claim it. That is based on their being a really high demand though, so it doesn't work too well for these type games. I didn't even think they were doing penalty points for these early games. In my opinion, the system should automatically revert to GA in student sections for any game where supply exceeds demand.
11/20/2005 5:07:13 PM
^ The GA idea is right on. I got 113 Row W today, which is right up near the top of the lower bowl, when there were a grand total of fifteen non-band people in the floor seats in the south end. It's ridiculous. Yesterday, they wouldn't let one of my friends sit with us in 104 even though there were dozens of empty seats in the section (not that I didn't rectify the situation).
11/20/2005 5:09:31 PM
what is really a shame is that NO ONE has been at these first few games. But you can bet your ass that there's a bunch of dicks that will be trying to get their hands on tickets for the higher level games. Attendance today was said to be only 7000+. The student sections were empty for the most part. There were probably only 10 people or so in the floor section behind where the band and cheerleaders sit. There were so few people there that we just moved to the empty seats along the sidelines so the staff could get an early start on pulling up the chairs before the end of the game. ^agreed. General admission within the student section would be the best idea. Only the bigger games would probably be a problem but that would give you an incentive to get to the games instead of dicking around and waiting til after they've put up the scanners and then bitching that you're penalized because your ticket didn't get scanned.[Edited on November 20, 2005 at 5:19 PM. ^^yeah, my group was part of that 15. We were initially up in row H but moved down, the guy there didn't really care. For all 3 games this weekend my seats have been behind the goals and I have ended up in like 106 or 107 everytime. Just gotta know when to move. [Edited on November 20, 2005 at 5:15 PM. yeah, if you lost points for whatever reason go to http://tickets.ncsu.edu and fill out the appealOr you can email Zack Adams (Student Senator) at zdadams@ncsu.edu
11/20/2005 5:26:18 PM
so lee, do you think there is any possiblity that we get em to do GA for the games before christmas where supply is greater than demand?
11/20/2005 5:59:07 PM
they said GA is not an option because of the way sections are done in rbc
11/20/2005 6:06:30 PM
Quick question, is anyone else having trouble signing up for group tickets to basketball games? I cant find the option when I request for a ticket to make sure I am in a group. Anyone know what I need to do
11/20/2005 6:51:03 PM
^^I didn't mean GA by section, I just meant GA for all of the student sections. The only place where the student section isn't divided from the regular sections is at like row A of 125-128.^the option will only be there during the initial "request period." Once it goes to the On-demand phase, there isn't a way to request a ticket with a group. You can try requesting a ticket at the same time as your friend. That may work, or it may not. But for these initial game it doesnt matter. Just move once the game starts to sit with your friends.[Edited on November 20, 2005 at 7:02 PM. Reason : ]
11/20/2005 7:00:06 PM
Honestly, they can't blame it on the way sections are done. GA in student sections all together, just like the exhibition games. No Section or row. They could give it a try for the VMI - UNCG games. See how it works. Then they can debate on doing it for GT, cause I don't see any major student demand for a game until then. I mean hey, it can't be any worse than the clusterfuck with the new online system at the beginning of the year and it's turned out pretty good other than the fact that people still can't read a basic sign. Maybe use assigned seats for the UNC and Maryland games so campout still serves a purpose.[Edited on November 20, 2005 at 7:25 PM. Reason : ]

The appeals form says football and doesn't load my previously saved comments.Because apparently all ticket information is given out via TWW and I probably lost my point today since I was never told the game was moved to 2pm or whatever. So should I submit that as well?[Edited on November 20, 2005 at 8:19 PM. the game time was never movedit was incorrectly reported
11/20/2005 8:21:18 PM
can if you want...I don't handle it, so I can't say why you didn't know or whatever.....Student Senate is in charge of it now, so you can complain to them...just look up campus community committee on students.ncsu.eduAnyway:
11/20/2005 8:24:42 PM
when ever i've had a group and its gone directly to on-demand, all the tickets in the group are still together
11/20/2005 8:31:38 PM
that's reassuring to know---they haven't figured out yet if it's human error in setting up groups (because sometimes the group leader doesnt' enter his/her UnityID in the group field, and the group isn't created) so we're curious about thatI just sent an email to athletics detailing issues in the printing of incorrect game times, and group seating issues
11/20/2005 8:35:45 PM
This looks like the tread to bitch about the ticket system so here goes. Why in the hell are they not having any student tickets available at the stadium during these early games? We're not anywhere near being sold out. What's the worst thing that can happpen if they open up 300 extra seats an hour before tip-off? Maybe, just maybe more student would come to the games, drink $4 sodas, and make some damn noise? What was the attendence today? Maybe 7,500. The student sections were at most 60% full. This is assine.Lahyde, I hope you know this isn't directed at you.
