so I've heard mention in here about buying/selling clothing in lots on ebay. whose done this and do you have any tips? I'm getting ridding of a lot of clothing (already donated several bags worth), but I've got plenty that are in super condition (ie: worn once, or never worn but no tags) that I'd like to get a little $ for if I can.

Some things I'm curious about:
-how many items are usually grouped in a lot
-what price ranges do you consider acceptable
-should I try to group any items from the same designer (even if some items are size 6, some are size 8)

hi. ok ignore the quality of the pics, my chubby arms, the messiness of my room, etc

my maxi dress came today!!!!! these are prelim pics. i look/feel like shit right now so lets all just look at the dress and imagine it with cute gold flats (i also have some cute coral colored ones that would be funky/fun) and colorful accessories.

there's also like 4 inches of fabric on the bottom that needs to come off haha. so i think i'm going to wash/dry and try to shrink it, and then just cut off the bottom w/ sharp blade/scissors. the "hem" is like that anyway. its just a rough hem. its the kind of soft knit material that just has that sheared/torn hem at the bottom and it kind of curls up. i've done this w/ other dresses so i think it should be fine. unless y'all think i should get it tailored? it has no real hem. and it is just uneven at the bottom so i think just cutting it should be fine.

when i wear it out for REAL (aka this weekend) i will post better pics. i swear it is a lot cuter IRL than in these picturrees and it will be cute when there isn't a foot of fabric at the bottom and you can see my shoes/toenails hahaha.



back...the tag is hanging out and still on. but i like that little elastic thing across the back. its weird, it isn't part of the dress its like an actual elastic strap only attached at the sides. whatevs. also i'd be wearing a strapless bra so ignore bra straps. also won't look as busty w/ a strapless bra on (not that i'm busty but you know what i mean!)


and here i am to prove i am not a headless demon, LOL


now i wish i had also gotten one of the bright colored solid ones!!! oh well. can't win them all. i want to paint my fingernails electric pink and then wear this with gold sandals and gold and teal earringgggs sometime this weekend.

^^^thanks! and i have NO idea i was shocked. this took less than a week.

in my experience, ruelala, hautelook, ideeli ALL say like 2 -4 weeks before an expected ship date but ideeli has ALWAYS come much faster. never longer than 2 weeks. hautelook takes the longest. ruelala in the middle. hautelook will take the entire 4 week period.

also i think hautelook might be on the west coast. and ideeli stuff comes from NJ. so that helps. i don't really know the ins and outs of how these sites work but i'm assuming that ideeli already has the items that they have for sale on their site and the other sites place orders with outside people?? like if i check a status of an order on hautelook it will say something like "placed order with affiliate" or something. so i guess it has to go through 2 places before me?!

but yea, it shipped on monday, got here today!!! def happy with it! the skirt i ordered from hautelook the same day hasn't even been processed yet haha. i'll prob get that mid june

^^ hahahaha. i know. this is the fastest something has come from them. i'm guessing it all depends on whether they have the actual items from the manufacturer yet or not?!

^ funny, I have had the exact opposite experience with ideeli. they've taken over a month before on some of my orders. beyond the rack is by far the worst. ruelala is usually spot on for me, and gilt has been pretty quick to get orders to me as well.
