they're not mad at each other at all. Well now to think of it she might be mad that the wedding isn't in a church. ...but I don't think she would do that out of spite. She just thinks her dress is totally cute and wants to wear it
5/18/2011 5:22:32 PM
Well, I don't even know the bride... and the groom is known by my boyfriend, and they haven't seen each other since.. high school...
5/18/2011 5:27:49 PM
Oh well in that case fuck it, wear what you want This is what my cousin wore:[Edited on May 18, 2011 at 5:37 PM. Reason : d]
5/18/2011 5:35:44 PM
That is cute!!!! ^ I love the shoes and belt
5/18/2011 7:16:10 PM
even if she doesn't care
5/18/2011 8:13:52 PM
my 2 cents: Wear it unless it looks somewhat or even remotely bridal. I dont think anyone would notice anyways.
5/19/2011 9:17:04 AM
^3 I thought it was really cute too ^2 Honestly why in the world should she care what a bunch of people at a wedding, none of whom she knows, think of her outfit choice? It's not like she's showing up in a white prom dress.
5/19/2011 9:20:46 AM
I think cute white summery dresses are fine, especially if some color is thrown on them... but I think I would only go that route if it was someone I knew really well and whose family I knew really well, aka an environment where they would know it wasn't something to upstage the brideso I got a photo sneak peek today, and Elizabeth Tolley is an amazing make-up artist (/shameless plug). 5/19/2011 12:33:06 PM
I wish I was half that good at using makeup
5/19/2011 12:40:03 PM
Thanks ^ inorite... I told Elizabeth I wish I was rich enough to pay her to do my make-up everyday.. and it took her like 10 minutes tops
5/19/2011 1:13:56 PM
10 minutes? Holy crap. Any time I have ever had my makeup done it seems to take them at least half an hour.
5/19/2011 2:21:12 PM
maybe they're just sandbaggin so your dumbass will keep overpaying for a stupid service
5/19/2011 2:35:47 PM
Seriously? Get the fuck out of this thread if you are going to call people dumb for spending money on unnecessary things.

By some unholy miracle, I have two inflamed cysts on one ovary and one on the other, all in danger of rupturing. Anyone know any good at home remedies? I've dealt with cysts before (I have PCOS) but this is ridiculous. I have pain meds but I would rather not be a zombie all day.

It might have been more like 15 if you count us waiting for the lashes to dry, but it was quick! And thanks again NRR is just jealous ^ yikes... no idea :-( heat?

Your pictures look great! And i currently have a heating pad on my belly and a cat on my heating pad.

i ordered a maxi skirt and maxi dress on ideeli/hautelook today (as my nordstrom dress from last time did not fit and i sent it back). so we shall see. these probs won't fit either. i ordered an XS because of fabric length and bulk...but debated between the small and XS for awhile. hope i made the right choice. i hope they fit because i love maxi stuff even though i am short. i am sure i'll end up sending at least one back. at least they have free returns!i will try to find pics...PICS! ok i am hoping this first one won't be such a bulk of fabric on me since i'm assuming the model is uber tall. but we will see...the bottom freaks me because it is a "shark bite" so i feel like it gets really bulky toward the bottom...HOWEVER...i love LOVE the back:and then this is a maxi skirt/dress (can be worn either way). i dunno what i will look like in a full length skirt but i figured i'd give it a try. i love the print. or see if it'd work as a tube dress. basically, i went out on a limb! i have 2 maxi dresses i like and would love more, it is just hard because i am tres tres TRESSSSSSS short. worst case scenario they are fugly on and i send them back. figured i might as well try!!! plus, can wear to work AND out.[Edited on May 19, 2011 at 5:41 PM. Ladies, I have a dress I need to shrink. I washed it on hot, and dried it on super hot, but it's still not quite where I want it. Do you have any clothes shrinking tips?
5/19/2011 8:40:45 PM
LOVE the bottom skirt thing!
5/19/2011 9:07:16 PM
^^ Other than what you did I think your only option is hemming it
5/19/2011 9:50:28 PM
^^ hmmm that is usually my go to solution for shrinking so i am interested in hearing what other people have to say. is it an item you could get tailored?^ thanks! i like the skirt better than the dress too and even if they magically both fit, will probs end up returning one and it will prob be the dress unless it is like phenomenal on. i hope the skirt thing fits/looks good because that pattern is super cute (i think, anyway). i don't think i'd wear it with a tank...prob a vneck white tee (or if i could find a purple or teal one).i, like every other woman on planet earth, seem to have trouble finding clothes that fit well
5/19/2011 9:50:52 PM
I, too, love the bottom skirt
5/19/2011 9:51:15 PM
I like the dress!GAP has a navy and white stripe dress kinda like that and I need it. I like the colors of that stripe and the way it flows
5/19/2011 9:54:20 PM
ideeli had a navy and white one!!! but it was sold out by the time i got to look. and a pink and white that was SUPER cute, also sold out. well they might still have the navy, but my size was sold out.i looked at gap and ann taylor on line today and they BOTH have really cute maxis. but holy moly is it just me or have both of those stores gotten expensive? i guess i don't shop there much anymore, but the ann taylor maxi was $168 i was like....whoa. i expected like $98 or like $110. maybe it'll go on sale sometime, because they do have good sales!
5/19/2011 10:16:02 PM
Yeah I'm really feeling the maxi dress and would like to copy your style and purchase son of a bitch it sold out [Edited on May 19, 2011 at 10:21 PM. Reason : ]
5/19/2011 10:16:31 PM
they probably still have them on ideeli!!! the brand is eighty six. they are $45, but i felt like that was pretty decent considering the price of the gap and ann taylor ones.they also have 3 solid colored ones which i also loved but i wasn't going to order like 5 $45 dresses haha. the solid ones were teal, blue, and pink. the blue was really really pretty imo. i was torn between the stripes and that one.maxis FTW because they are flowy so they cover up any rolls should we have them. WHICH WE TOTALLY ALL DON'T. but just incase we did edit: awww man sold outttttt. the solid ones are still cute though, LK.[Edited on May 19, 2011 at 10:22 PM. Reason : .]
5/19/2011 10:19:15 PM
Sadly I can't order it because my tits are too damn big.I really wish I could wear a top like that on a dress. SOOOO CUTE. I really do love that maxi dress!!!
5/19/2011 10:19:46 PM
yeah i like the solids, but they appear to be cut more slim in the skirt instead of flowy...which not knowing what my body will be like once i have the baby, i'm hesitant to purchase it now.
5/19/2011 10:27:55 PM
ahhhhhh. good point.
5/19/2011 10:48:32 PM
soooooo I'm going to a music fest this weekend and I don't want my hair color getting all F'ed up so I bought a headscarf.. but I have never used one this waydoes this look totally silly, or concert appropriate?
5/20/2011 12:17:42 AM
I think it looks fine as long as you can see hair. You don't want to look like a cancer patient. Every music fest appropriate imo.

ELKBABY!!!Gypsy is on Ideeli today....lots of maxi dresses! This style is cute, allows for a bra, and lets you hide leftover baby bump
5/20/2011 11:47:40 AM
Omg....want
5/20/2011 11:48:35 AM
His is my first ideeli rodeo...what does "on hold" mean?!?! Want coralTye dye maxi
5/20/2011 12:49:33 PM
Ya are slow I bought the large coral tie dye maxi instead of medium. May have to return, but I'm excited!
5/20/2011 1:07:18 PM
I love the blue ones. But with a back that low I couldn't wear a bra with it
