^ the way he does it he doesn't get the makeup calls. He whines, he's so damn selfish and when he thinks he's fouled he's mouthing off to the refs while his team tries to play defense with 4 guys. I agree the man is talented, but I think this team can be a playoff team without him next year.
4/26/2010 10:35:18 PM
I don't think we would've made the playoffs this year without himNext year, who knowsI, too, wish he would shut his mouth, but he's no worse than Carter or Howard when it comes to complaining about callsI mean everybody says when Howard goes out, we don't drive to the basket...maybe because when we do drive, we don't get any calls]
4/26/2010 10:36:38 PM
he's turned the ball over like a motherfucker this series[Edited on April 26, 2010 at 10:38 PM. Reason : he's been quite feltonesque with the ball]
4/26/2010 10:38:18 PM
bitching at the refs isn't going to make them change their calls to favor you.
4/26/2010 10:42:06 PM
Unless you're a Vince Carter or a Dwight Howard or any of the other stars in the league, none of which are on the Bobcats[Edited on April 26, 2010 at 10:46 PM. Reason : you'd think Larry Brown or MJ would help get some calls, but nope...maybe if we were the 5 or 6 seed]
4/26/2010 10:43:34 PM
How does a professional basketball team go 8+ minutes without scoring a FG?pathetic showing in the 4th
4/26/2010 10:47:59 PM
i still think we could have at least taken a game or two from cleveland
4/26/2010 10:49:06 PM
dunno...playoffs Cleveland != regular season Clevelandalthough they wouldn't be hitting 20 3-pointers a game on us eitherI HAVE NOT GIVEN UP ON THIS GAME THOUGH[Edited on April 26, 2010 at 10:53 PM. Reason : .]
4/26/2010 10:51:45 PM
Bullshit foul there
4/26/2010 10:56:24 PM
4/26/2010 10:59:27 PM
Magic 3 pointers were the sole purpose for the series lossi think the a cleveland series would have at least been competitive
4/26/2010 11:03:01 PM
do they always shoot the three that much? felt like i was watching a duke team with nothing but nba players, everytime momentum was built they drove, dish, 3 the amount of shit reddick was getting at the game was hilarious
4/27/2010 12:35:40 AM
Yeah that's Orlando's MO...give it to Howard...when the double team comes, kick it out for an open 3, or kick it out and pass around the perimeter to the open man for the 3funny how they booed Redick, although this is the same crowd that gets louder for free t-shirts than they do for NBA playoff basketball...Carter hurt us a lot more than Redick tonight...but he went to UNC! Lets not boo him and get in his head cause he went to UNC! Even though this is a fucking NBA game!
4/27/2010 12:37:51 AM
from my section, it sounded like carter and roy williams got more boos than cheers
4/27/2010 12:40:48 AM
maybe so, i wasn't therebut still, i get booing Redick, lots of UNC fans, he went to Duke and pissed all of them off (as well as State fans)but with a lot of the fans, you almost think if they had put Gerald Henderson in the game to guard Vince, they'd secretly be pulling for Vince to win the matchupfeel free to boo Redick hardcore, but don't limit it to just himand this is an opinion of the fans i've had based on going to games for 5 years...not specific to tonight, and i know there are plenty of fans that arent like that
4/27/2010 12:44:03 AM
when there was all that commotion going on in the second half and they had to split up the players, i heard a guy near me say something along the lines of "IF IVE GOTTA TAKE SIDES IM TAKING VINCES SIDE"fucking idioti wasnt gonna say anything about the crowd, but i remember hornets regular season games that were way more hype than that, then again the team just looked like they were barely hanging in there the whole game and finally gave out at the endstill fun though

nice idea, but no way...everhe said financials notwithstanding, he should go to the Bobcats...not sure about this, but i'm pretty sure they wouldn't be enough under the cap to even offer him a reasonable deal, and they would need a major roster overhaul to get there
4/28/2010 1:22:08 PM
I'd say Lebron can come here and play and coach since we probably won't have larry brown.
4/28/2010 4:35:37 PM
is that what you say, kimberly?

probably Popovich pulling a Steve Spurrierfunny though...when the trade was made, you didn't even think he was a top-50 player in the NBAsomething about how all his averages would go down in our offense...[Edited on May 3, 2010 at 5:00 PM. Reason : haha you said Diaw was a better player than Jackson]
5/3/2010 4:57:13 PM
I still say he's outside the top 50 Boris now joins him in that distinction
5/3/2010 5:04:22 PM
Boris is outside the top 200 he was god awful this year. The key for us this offseason is keeping Tyrus. He's one of the most underrated players in the league, but he will go relatively unnoticed even though he's a much better FA choice than someone like Joe Johnson on the downside of their career who will demand more money.I have a feeling we'll just give him the 1 yr qualifying offer so that we stay flexible heading into the new bargaining agreement.Felton won't find a huge market for his services because most of the contenders are set at point guard and the bottom feeders need a bigger splash name. I could see Miami and NYK going after him fairly aggressively if they strike out on their main targets (Bosh, Wade, Boozer, etc).I think he'll definitely command slightly more than the MLE I'm thinking somewhere in the 5 yrs $35 million range. Thats a tough call because he's still pretty good value at that price but we don't have enough around him to build a top team if we pay him that much. On the other hand, we can't make the playoffs if we lose him with no other serviceable starting PG on the roster. Had we not botched the DJ Augustin pick and wasted a first rounder on Ajinca we could have grabbed one of the 300 PG's in the draft this year
5/3/2010 6:10:50 PM
Diaw was useless this yearhe's a huge pussy
5/3/2010 6:21:52 PM
Also to add to ^^ my previous post I feel like we are the lead candidate for Chris Paul's services if the Hornets decide to work out a sign&trade. They have Collison already and are probably looking to slash spending given their new ownership.I think we have the inside track due to his close relationship with MJ, native home state, a perfect supporting cast (lobs to Tyson, Gerald, Tyrus?!), a beautiful expiring deal from a productive player (nazr), and what I would have to imagine his desire to get out of the hellhole that is New Orleans.
5/3/2010 7:15:49 PM
well at least we didnt suck this bad against the Magic
5/4/2010 9:46:40 PM
yeah i don't feel as bad after seeing this series so farso far is the key though, I bet Atlanta at least wins a gameok we were never down by 40 points...moral victory for the Bobcats![Edited on May 4, 2010 at 9:56 PM. Reason : lol]

It's not surprising that teams are looking to shed picks if they can pick up 1-3 million and save a million in player salary. It is surprising we are the ones trying to buy one so that's nice to see Jordan put his money where his mouth is. Hoping that means we will make the committment to keep Tyrus Thomas, not dump Nazr for nothing, resign Felton if he'll take a reasonable offer, and continue to go after Chris Paul...
6/21/2010 6:52:44 PM
For anyone interested, the Bobcats are having an open house at the arena Thursday night. They're trying to get people to buy season tickets for 50% off, but they have other stuff, like coverage of the draft (and free food). Gerald Wallace, Muggsy Bogues and David Thompson will be there.http://www.nba.com/bobcats/2010_openhouse.html
6/22/2010 12:38:54 AM
^^ on the NBAtv divisional draft breakdowns they said the Bobcats have worked out either Thomas or Zoubec from Duke and Deon Thompson. Screw buying into the draft for one of those clowns.
6/22/2010 12:00:17 PM
We've worked out a lot of guys over the last couple weeksI'm still kind of skeptical that we get into the draftBasically I like Coach Brown and the improvement of the team from where we were a year ago to where we are nowBut I still have absolutely zero confidence in the ability of our front office to draft]
