those are most of them... but another one is "not using the option with teams that dont run the option"yup, REALLY tired of playing Oregon and WV[Edited on October 25, 2007 at 8:29 PM. Reason : d]
10/25/2007 8:28:35 PM
i used to play with WVU but the games would be 50-60 pt games on both sides....now i play with Ohio State because i like their defense. i love running hte option, but i dont run it that much with OSU....i do sub in their b/u qb though...dont care that much for their starter.
10/25/2007 8:40:09 PM
the option is a gimmick play on there, I refuse to play anyone that uses it
10/25/2007 8:40:50 PM
some the of pitches people make are just nasty. getting tackled and guy pitches the ball BEHIND HIS BACK...ha yea right..
10/25/2007 8:42:26 PM
exactly... shit that would NEVER happen... like I said, I refuse to play people that use it.I like using Ball State, Illinois, Indiana, San Jose State, FIU

I normally play with either NC State, VT, or Rutgers. Probably 60-40 pass/run. Use the triple option every now and then in short yardage.
10/25/2007 8:43:39 PM
my DNF sucks cause I quit if a fucker does that, or goes for it on 4th down on their own 35 in the 1st quarter etc.
10/25/2007 8:44:37 PM
does it lag really bad for you guys?i cant stand when it starts to lag...im trying to run pass plays and its like the defenders arent there...then lag...lagg...poof there are on the qb...it sucks.
10/25/2007 9:20:21 PM
YES the lag is the only thing keeping me from being on there all the time.Im on PS3 but XBox360 is about the same as far as lagging.
10/25/2007 9:23:32 PM
How to you pass well in the game?I can pass pretty well scrambling on the run with a mobile QB and find a hole but if I have someone who is a pocketpasser I just totally suck and throw 3-4 picks a game.
10/26/2007 3:37:34 AM
^Are you playing as NCSU?
10/26/2007 7:35:38 AM
^^Yeah, it's especially difficult at first. You really have to ONLY pass to open men. Throwing into coverage will likely get you picked. Especially watch out for the linebackers....if they are between you and your reciever, they will jump high and do a 180 and catch that shit every time.Oh, and adjust your sliders so that Interceptions = 0.IMO, it's fairly realistic with the right sliders and the way I play.
10/26/2007 8:08:27 AM
I REFUSE TO PLAY PEOPLE WHO PASS MORE THAN 50% OF THE TIME
10/26/2007 10:14:38 AM
yeah i play mostly as WVU/Florida/Oregon/Missouri right now since their QBs are pretty mobile and can pick up solid yardage just by taking off. I really like the white/slation combo at wvu. I mean its like so much easier to fumble and throw interceptions in the game than in 07. And the CPU defenses are getting smarter now and actually defend you with the correct formation. Sometimes it really pisses me off that its a close game and my perfectly healthy HB just fumbles the ball after taking a small hit late in the game; then the CPU proceed to drive down the field and win the game.
10/26/2007 3:39:01 PM
yea i just had some bs last night...i was OSU playing PennST and i run a trips strong and my guy runs a post down the middle...WIDE THE FUCK OPEN...and he catches it and and barely gets hit and mother fuck fumbles and i lose 24-21....i was so pissed...and fuck that damn lag.
10/26/2007 4:36:04 PM
any of you queerbaits up for a game before I go out?

Did you actually go into the roster and make the WR to a HB? The ratings don't take as much of a hit this way as it does if you just use the depth chart and put a WR as a HB.
11/1/2007 4:52:58 PM
I was doing it at the "position changes" screen because it requires you to maintain players at every position. Those are just two useless slots to me because I don't actually use the FB and sub my HBs or WRs to the FB position on the depth chart.
11/1/2007 5:10:57 PM
*bump*
11/8/2007 10:07:56 AM
hmm, I had that same problem too, but I think they do it so that you dont overabuse the positions......
11/8/2007 2:39:35 PM
I really like to play as Navy now on 08, their option playbook is sick....although i would have liked their HB to be a little faster. Also, Neveda is kind to fun to play with with the pistol offense
11/8/2007 2:43:46 PM
For those of you that said you don't like people using the option, If I play with an option team, (Wake Forest has alot in their playbook, air force, navy, etc.) does that bother you? or being like USC and passing on the time then running an option just to pick up a few yards?Cause I like playing with the "lesser" teams no one else uses.
11/8/2007 3:01:43 PM
haha, I finally got the hook & ladder to go for a TD on heisman. 98yds
11/8/2007 8:16:59 PM
^ nice, and i think that most team's playbooks are pretty much the same, pretty much everyone got ace and shotgun, with an exception of a few, like navy, wofford, etc.....i think the game is easier to run with than to pass. on heisman, to complete a pass, you have to check for blitz, read the coverage, sometime scramble, and find hte open receiever and then throw the ball. whereas with the run, option or the HB toss to the open side is pretty good on yards and hte CPU sucks at defendin the option or the toss, just make sure that you find a hole. on heisman, u cna always get at least 6,7 yards on the toss and if you have a star back, like mcfadden, johnson, slaton or someone, a big run is definitely possible if you can just outrun the defenders on the edge.......
11/9/2007 1:11:07 AM
i discovered how to pass and its much easier than running now. when you have single coverage on a tall wr hold the left stick up as you throw a normal bullet and it will overthrow it high to the wr and he will go up and catch it. works on short wrs as well but the corner hits it more. never gets pciked unless there was a zone defender in front of your throw so going deep is the safest bet. this has revolutionized passing. its completely different if you make your throws high. even the short guys will go up for the 1 handed grabs in the endzone and like i said, never intercepted.
11/9/2007 7:21:51 PM
you just figured that out? It's a good way to get your receiver knocked the fuck out too though. [Edited on November 9, 2007 at 7:50 PM. Reason : ]

I won the BCS National Title today on my dynasty, but I didn't get the achievement. Was I supposed to do something after that? I thought after I won the trophy, the achievement would have popped up, but it didn't.
