10 of next 11 on the roadincluding Dallas, Houston, Lakers, Clevaland, Utah and Portlandright now is probably the closest we'll be to the playoffs for the rest of the yearSOAK IT IN!!!
3/8/2008 9:59:06 PM
Yeah those 6 games are just about sure losses. We are making just enough strides to ruin our pick for next year. A Beasley/Okafor frontcourt would be pretty sweet. Dudley is really turning into a solid pro.
3/9/2008 12:46:31 AM
Fucking Wizards couldn't pull out the "W" last night.
3/9/2008 5:59:17 PM
Bobcats are really playing well lately...actually looking like a team instead of an every-man-for-himself nightmare.Richardson has obviously stepped up, Dudley is contributing a lot, and Carroll is on fire of late. But the guy that's been really key in the turnaround has been Felton -- he is just in complete control of the game. Why again hasn't he been playing PG all year?

Rockets cut Gerald Green...tell Jordan to sign his black ass today!
3/10/2008 1:11:02 PM
Richardson got Eastern Conference player of the week last weekAlso today at Wallace's first contact practice since the concussion he said his days of playing the 4 are over and asked the coaches not to play him there. Also he says he expects to play on Wednesday against Dallas!
3/10/2008 2:18:32 PM
That means either Jared will have to play some 4 or get minimal minutesYou figure Ray, J rich and Walllace all get 35-38 per gameBoykins plays pg when Rays not itCarroll plays sg when Richardson's not inDudley's been playing too well to only get 10-12 mins per gameIf he could play the 4 some, that would alleviate some of thatObviously we still need to look at a 4 or 5 in the draftBeasley, Lopez and Jordan primarily[Edited on March 10, 2008 at 2:39 PM. Reason : but if the motherfuckers keep winning we won't have a shot at any of those guys]
3/10/2008 2:38:59 PM
They keep playing shitty enough to not make the playoffs and good enough to never get a decent pick in the draft
3/10/2008 4:17:05 PM
2 back
3/10/2008 10:35:04 PM
43-36 at the half...Bobcats lead...over HOUSTON
3/14/2008 8:38:44 PM
in the midst of a meltdown now. not out of reach, but definitely pullin a wolfpack
3/14/2008 9:13:10 PM
It just seems like the Rockets are getting every call tonight, of course after 20 straight, why wouldnt they?
3/14/2008 9:41:51 PM
final score?
3/14/2008 10:28:50 PM
89-80 houston
3/14/2008 11:16:48 PM
Wallace is 7/7 from the line in the first half
3/19/2008 7:13:25 PM
Wow we really blew that game....Pacers aren't even that good.Oh well each loss puts us closer to a better pick.
3/20/2008 1:14:59 AM
when i look at our playoff chances in the east, i'm thinking even though we're mathematically still in it, we're not going to outplay Philly or Jersey or Atlanta or anybody by +5 games to make the playoffs...the only disheartening thing is that there are 4-5 teams in the West that I think are going to finish with a worse record than us (Memphis, Clippers, etc) so I'm looking at like the 8th or 9th draft pick
3/20/2008 9:31:43 AM
Wallace looks like he's almost back to 100%...had a couple sick dunks last night...Felton tossed him one alley where it was a little high but he grabbed it anyway with both hands then threw it down with one hand...on another alley, Felton again tossed it...this time a defender deflected the pass but Wallace got it and threw it down anyway
3/23/2008 10:41:21 AM
LOL bobcats gonna beat the LakersKobe just got kicked out for kicking the ball and you could hear him saying "FUCK YOU" to the refs
3/26/2008 11:47:39 PM
article said they are 4-1 in the last 5 games against the lakersso i guess that puts them at 4-4 alltime

Time Warner Deal Complete! Bobcats games on FSN now.http://www.charlotte.com/bobcats/story/571183.html[Edited on April 8, 2008 at 8:26 PM. Reason : .]
4/8/2008 8:25:29 PM
this is good for both teams (canes & bobcats) but it might be bad if TWC doesn't add a 2nd FSN for nights when they overlap or something[Edited on April 8, 2008 at 8:27 PM. Reason : ]
4/8/2008 8:27:31 PM
okay never mind what i saidFSN IS FUCKING STUPID.
4/8/2008 8:58:19 PM
the most fucked up thing is that the Bobcats get money from Time Warner now, but the city of Charlotte gets jack shit, even though we taxpayers paid for the fucking arena...politics as usualbtw did anybody watch the timberwolves game tonight on FSN? i was there so i didnt see it on tv, but from teh news14 highlights, the camera quality looked HORRIBLE...but maybe its just whatever feed news14 used?[Edited on April 8, 2008 at 10:05 PM. 4/8/2008 10:43:30 PM
jordan's little sister linsey was rocking some hot little black cocktail dress in the frontcourt tonight
4/8/2008 10:47:34 PM
My last game of the year was the Cavs gameI'm on a 7 month break from the bobcatsstill gonna hit up TWC arena (sounds lame...we need a nickname for it) in may for katt williams on may 2 and kanye/lupe/nerd/rhianna on may 4[Edited on April 8, 2008 at 10:55 PM. Reason : x]
4/8/2008 10:55:01 PM
i'll probably just call it "the arena" or "the downtown arena" or "bobcats arena"i'll probably hit up the season finale on wednesday just cause its the finale...see what kind of free shit they throw at me to try and get me to break the bank and renew my season tix
4/8/2008 11:02:28 PM
i was all set to call it t dub before i knew cable was gonna be in the name. i'll probably still use t dub.
4/9/2008 12:22:56 AM
Bob Johnson, Nelly and....Michael Jordan were all front row last night...first time in franchise history that his Airness has been to a game and not sat in a private box...he actually sat front row for the first half before disappearing...wonder how much B'Johnson had to pay him for the appearance since he don't wear Hanes underwear for nothin

Besides Brown, there are a few other good-not-great choices out thereRick Carlisle (my top choice)Scott SkilesJeff Van GundyPaul SilasAnybody know of any good assistants out there?
4/26/2008 11:08:30 AM
firing vincent is "like rearranging the deck chairs on the titanic" according to one charlotte.com readeri lol'd]
4/26/2008 11:10:35 AM
skiles signed with the bucksi personally would take carlisle but this reeks of larry brown all over itunc bobcats at it again
4/26/2008 11:16:47 AM
why do some of you people still harp on the UNC prevalence in the bobcats organization. just give it a fuckin' rest already. WHO GIVES A GOOD GODDAMN. it's not college ball, it's the NBA. i don't give a flying fuck how many tarheels are on the team, they're not going out to beat State, they're going out to beat detroit and boston, and if they can do that, then i'm completely content. so please, SHUT THE FUCK UP. get over it, for all of us, please.i mean for god's sake people, there are what, like 4 direct unc connections to the team. WELCOME TO THE NBA. THAT'LL HAPPEN WHEN YOUR COLLEGE PROGRAM HAS BEEN CONSISTENTLY PRODUCING THE BEST PLAYERS FOR THE LAST 40 YEARS[Edited on April 26, 2008 at 11:46 AM. Reason : ,]
4/26/2008 11:41:13 AM
^ still drunk from last night? I wouldnt say UNC has produced any GREAT players within the past 5 years. May sucks, Jeff McInnis was horrible and I still question whether felton will ever be an elite point guard. i personally dont give a shit who they play for in college as long as they help the team. so calm the fuck down. when are we gonna get a coach to develop some stability within the organization? If they do hire Brown, he'll be gone in 2-3 seasons. Jordan is just further proving that he is lackluster in the front office.
4/26/2008 12:05:44 PM
i'm calm
4/26/2008 12:10:16 PM
i like Felton just fine and I wouldnt mind Larry Brownits the Jeff McInnis's that make me loathe the UNC-Bobcats connection
4/26/2008 12:16:10 PM
^and the Maysand while I really like Larry Brown as a coach, I don't see him as the right choice for this team. They'd be better off looking for someone who will stick around for longer than a couple of years.[Edited on April 26, 2008 at 12:24 PM. Reason : ]
4/26/2008 12:18:19 PM
Brown doesn't ever coach anywhere for too long, but he certainly gets teams going in the right direction...considering Ham Biscuit lasted one year, 3-4 from Larry Brown sounds pretty longterm!
4/26/2008 12:25:59 PM
i dont like larry brown, but if he could turn the team around and get em in the playoffs within a year or two and then bolts, he will have done far more good than getting an assistant that would stay for 5+ years and struggle to get the 7th-8th seed.
